Fat/Skinny

It wasn't easy for me to lose weight. I mean being part Asian, everyone expects us to be skinny. But that's not the case, you see my name is Adeline Tan Yen. And, I'm a really fat girl. It was hard for me to make friends, who wouldn't judge me for my weight. My mother is American while my father is Asian. They met in Tokyo, fell in love, got married, and had me. I'm their only child since my mother couldn't have any more kids. I could have had a twin sister but, unfortunately, she didn't make it. But enough of this sad story. I'm here to talk about my first day in America. My mother had a new job in America working for this famous company. My father agreed and we decided to move there. At first, I was looking for a new change since I didn't feel right where I lived. But now that's all going to change when my mother was going to send me into a private school. At first, I didn't think of it much. I didn't think anything could go wrong since in America everyone doesn't look the same. But it didn't go as I thought it was going to turn out.

Unwelcoming faces

I walked down the hallway after receiving my schedule. I was looking for room 138 but I couldn't find it. I was...lost, now what was I going to do? I looked around wondering if I can ask for help. But the school bell rang, and everyone was making their way into their classes. I was panicking, I didn't know where to go. I was just left there in the hallway as everyone passed by me. I instead made my way to the bathroom. I entered inside but saw three girls standing around, talking, and even smoking. I never saw someone smoke before, it was always older people. But these young girls smoking, it felt...wrong. One of the girls looked at me, she was tall and had dirty blond hair, her skin looked like it was tan. She had blue eyes and had these long pink nails. She took her cigar and held it to her mouth. As she took a breath of the cigar and released its toxic chemicals outside the window. She just stared at me, like if she was observing me? The other two girls were talking about other things. And then they noticed me and turned their heads. The dirty blond spoke. "Who are you? I never had seen you here in this school before? are you new?" as she exhaled the cigar. "Y-yes I'm new here....I just don't know where room 138 is at..." I silenced myself as she stepped closer to me. Her smoke was coming out of her mouth as she spoke "ya.. I can tell your new here since I've never seen someone this big before..." she took another moment to exhale her cigar once again. I was scared and nervous, to say anything else. She then stepped closer to me as she let go of her cigar in her hand. "Ok now, you listen here, if you and I cross paths I'll make sure that I ruin your whole life, and if you even tell anybody about anything that we discussed right now, things will just get worse for you, for now on...your a target, for me to step on and simply get entertained once and a while, you don't have a voice in this matter of situation...so I hope that this makes you learn to NOT mess with me, or ill figure out your most darkest secrets and spread them like a wildfire" she then looked at me with dead eyes. "even tho there isn't much to tell secrets your body is enough to explain it all, but...if I ever see you crossing in my sight ill make sure...to make it all a living nightmare, got that". I was terrified of what just happened, my knees felt like they were giving up on me, why was she insulting me? I didn't do anything? did she get bothered about me telling her for the room number? "Now, get the fuck out of here you ugly pig". I couldn't believe she would call me that!?! I ran out of the bathroom, as I ran out, hear her laughing as she made fun of me.
