One.

The blood-red walls of the city glistened under the silvery hue of the moon. Silence prevailed in the city of Huran.

The night was dark. Only the faint sound of the night guards who strolled through the dimly lit roads was heard. The stone houses lined up the cobblestone paths which ran through the city.

Through the curtains of the deadly silent night, a shadow of a woman appeared. She stood silently, in a dark corner of a city, oozing coldness. Clad in dark red, she wore a mask leaving only her blood-red eyes. Golden specks danced in her red pools while her eyes smiled with vengeance. The cold wind of the night ran past her, letting her hair dance with the wind.

Suddenly she disappeared so easily and swiftly, just as she appeared. A night guard walked through the darkness of night, towards where she stood a moment ago, just after her disappearance. His eyes moved sharply. Yet, it only caught the darkness. He looked for one last time at the corner, making sure no one was there.

He turned back, only to meet with beautiful red eyes with blood lust.

Saya stood in front of her new prey while blood lust and vengeance flowed through her sparkling eyes. The eyes of the man widened and his hands ran to the hilt of his sword.

But the mesmerizing smile in the eyes of the woman dazzled him. He stepped back without even thinking.

"You." His voice trembled.

"Die..." the ethereal voice of the woman drifted through the cold breeze of the Huran.

The sound of the metal piercing flesh echoes in the silent night. Chime of a wind chime softly embraced the painful cry of the man.

The blood spilled.

Dark red created art on the cobblestone path. It dazzled under the silvery light of the moon.

"Jade demon won't stop just because of a mere herd of humans."

The voice of the woman softly faded to the night.

Silvery moon smiled at the cold body which lay on a pool of crimson blood.

The night was disturbed by the sound of guards and soldiers. But the city was still bathed in the darkness. Only dimly lit lamps which lined the cobblestone paths accompanied the darkness.

Two soldiers stood at the entrance of a dark alley while several others flocked at the end of the alley. The cold body of a night guard lay silently on the earth. The pool of fresh blood under him was still fresh.

"It is Jade demon,"

A man cladded in military uniform of the Huran spoke. His face was covered with a white beard which had a tint of black here and there. He stood in front of the dead body, with an expressionless face.

"A Jade will be lade, even if the city of jades perishes, even one of them was enough to spread chaos in the Huran." His eyes were dim.

He turned his back to the dead body, now covered with a white cloth. His eyes met with the figure of another man who was staring at the dead body. He was a young man with a tall frame, Clad in white he stared at the dead body with sparking warm eyes. He had lush onyx hair and pale skin. There was a Ruddy-embedded silver sword in his right hand,

"What do you think?" General Ayon asked the young man.

Yaran took his eyes away from the bloodied scene. His bottomless blue eyes met the eyes of Ayon.

"The revenge." His voice was deep.

Ayon shook his head.

"That, I know."

"The problem is, how? How is there a living lade?" Ayon inhaled sharply, feeling suffocated.

A smile was carved on the young man's lips; a smile that spoke nothing but a mystery. Yaran turned around to leave the alley. The darkness enveloped his tall silhouette.

"We destroyed every single jade?" Didn't we?" Ayon asked, softly yelling at the departing figure of the man. His fisted hands told his nervousness.

"Maybe not."

The voice of the man drifted away with the cold night breeze.

Hellooo! Anyone there??
