"Why are we here?" John asked George as he entered his office in the mansion for the first time in the past week.

"You said you wanted to tag along, I am keeping you around to see whether or not you're going to change your mind about it," George stated matter of factly.

"I don't do that…Change my mind,"

George smiled, "You should try it sometime, it's fun,"

A small smile played on John's lips, but it vanished the second his mother entered the room. He turned his back and walked away from her then stood as far as possible next to the wall, his eyes roaming the many guns that decorated it.

"Do you use any of these?" He asked George with evident interest. 

Cynthia's heart sank as she observed him, she shuddered trying to imagine what had her angel sounding that excited about something she hated so much.
