Henry pushed through the crowd of policemen as he made his way through the hallway of the ER, his feet were carrying him, but he really didn't feel like he was walking at all, he was surprised that he didn't fall on his face and ended up crawling to what might as well be his mother's death bed.
The guards who were at the door tried to stop him.
"Let him go," Garcia ordered.
The detective was flanked by George and Cynthia, but Henry didn't look back, he opened the door and froze at the view in front of him.
Many doctors and nurses hovered over his mother who looked like a stranger with grey hair and no makeup whatsoever, when his eyes drifted down, he leaned on the door that he had closed behind him for support seeing the blood he dreaded so much covering his mother's abdominal part completely.
One of the nurses hurried to his side, "Sir! You shouldn't be in here!"
