Nine months later, spring was here once more, but it was not a normal spring.
A typical spring in Washington DC was marked by the city's famous cherry blossoms that adored the streets and generated a special sentiment in the spectators' hearts, the fragile nature of the flowers reminded passers-by of just how short life really was, and just how beautiful a fleeting moment could be, even when one knew it was bound to end.
But this spring was marked very differently.
The elite prepared for the biggest social event of the year. A very unlikely wedding ceremony that took the city by storms of gossip. The much controversial reunion to a separation that was never fully comprehended in the first place was on the way. And the location of that celebration was none other than the one and only famous mansion owned by the strongest family in DC, the Evans family.
