Chapter Thirty-one

Violet (POV)

After Carter left we all went to sleep. I woke up having a nightmare so I got out of my bed and walked to Dame's room.

Once I opened the door I saw he was still up. He looked up and saw me by the door and gave me a small smile before asking

"Nightmare?" I just nodded my head and he took his work stuff off his bed putting it on the table

"Come on," he said and opened his arms

I quickly hugged him and then we laid down on the bed. He kissed my head and said goodnight before I drifted off

The next morning I woke up, hear the shower, and saw Dame always gone. I stood up went to my room and got dressed and saw it was already 10 am most of my family would be at work, dealing with the mafia business, or at school.

I walked to the kitchen and saw dad there drinking coffee.

"Morning," I said making him look at me

"Morning sunshine did you sleep well?" He asked

"Sort of and you dad?" I asked

"Yeah," he said

"Okay want some more coffee?" I asked as I pour myself a cup

"No thanks I should head out to work I'll see you later," he said and kissed my head and left the room

"Yeah I'll be right there let me just grab some coffee," I heard Dame said

He walks into the kitchen and I gave him a travel cup with coffee inside

"Thank you, my little lifesaver, we'll be back later tonight. Remember your aunts and younger older brothers are here if you need anything okay and Liam is also going to stay here." Dame said

"Okay see you tonight," I said

He kissed my head and left just like dad did. I heard my youngest older brothers coming downstairs so I started making pancakes.

"Hey little sister, what are you making?" Theo asked

"Pancakes want to help?" I replied

"Hell no last time he made something he almost burned down their kitchen, I'll help you," Liam said as he entered the kitchen

"It was an accident," Theo said making us laugh

Liam and I made pancakes and then we all went to the dining room. I saw my grandparents and my aunts already sitting there. We took out seats and said grace before eating

As we ate grandpa asked, "Violet that boy who was here yesterday what is his last name?"

"I don't know I think it starts with a K why?" I asked

"He just looked familiar that's all," Grandpa said

"Oh," I said and started eating

Later that day when the whole family got home I asked, "Dad when can we go back to school?"

"I don't know when it's safe," he said

"Dad our whole lives are not safe I want to go back to school," I said

"Violet, don't please," dad said and rubbed his temple

"But dad..." I try to say but got interrupted

"No Violet now go up to your room now," uncle Aless said strictly

I look at them and then at dad and saw he was tired. I shake my head and ran to my room.

Ugg why can't they just figure out that I feel trapped in this house there's nothing to do I want to get out...

I quickly put on my mask and jumped out my window. I sneaked past the guard and went to an underground fighting tournament.

Yeah, I know what you're going to say... I'm I mad I just got out of a fucking coma and now I want to go to a fighting club and fight? Well be in my shoes for a minute

You found out you have other patents you get kidnapped again. You end up in a coma, your family is the leaders of the second and third Mafia in the world. You have to stay at home because it isn't safe if you do go out you have an army of bodyguards around you or following your every move

I have to get all my anger out tonight and this is the only way I know-how

I got to the door and the guard and said, "Butterfly " as I show him my tattoo

"You can go in," he said opening the door

I went in and the smell of sweat and blood hit me making me smirk. I saw someone I recognize Ethan also known as Red.

I went to him and say boo

He jumped and turn to me and looked confused. I grabbed his hand and took him to a corner.

"It's just me, chill, is any of my family here?" I said

"Fuck what are you doing here you can't fight you just..." He said and I chat him off

"Came out of a coma and have so much anger bottled up so I'm getting rid of it tonight and stop worrying I'll be extra careful,"

"Fine but you're staying near me and Carter," he said

"Carter is here?" I asked

"Yeah his the wolf that one," He said and pointed at Carter

"Cool let's go," I said and went to Carter

"Hey wolfie," I said to Carter

"It's the Wolf butterfly," he said narrowing his eyes

"Chill dude it's Vi," Ethan said

"Are you crazy what are you doing here?" He asked

"Getting my frustrations out what else," I said

"Dammit you just got out of a coma and now you want to fight?" He growled

"Yeah okay I have shit to get out and this is the only way I know how," I said

"Come on let's go I'll show you another way," Carter said talking my hand

We walked out of the club and got in Ethan's Jeep. We took our masks off when we're far away from the club.

"Where are we going?" I asked

"My house," Carter said

"Okay, what are we going to do there?" I asked

"Destroy stuff and maybe shoot a few stuff," Carter said

"Cool,"

We stopped in front of his house and got out we went inside as we got inside I saw a woman and 3 boys looking at us

"Hey mom, guys this is Violet and you know Ethan, Vi this is my mother and my three of my brothers," Carter said introducing us

"Please call me Vicky or aunt Vicky," his mother said and then his brothers started introducing themselves

"Mason 22, it's nice to meet you," he said smiling

"Gabriel 20," he said bored

"Nicholas but please call me Nick,"

"Nice to meet you all," I said giving them a small smile

"We're going into the break room," Carter said took my hand, and dragged me to a room

We went into a room and I saw many things to break I looked at Carter and he nodded and gave me a gun

"Do what you want" he said as he started breaking things

Two hours. That's how long we were breaking things and shooting things. I fall to my knees and Carter came towards me

He kneeled and hugged m and I started crying.

"Shh your okay you're safe," he told me and started whispering sweet nothing into my ear

I calmed down and saw it was almost 12. I stood up and said I should go.

"Come on I'll show you a way to your house," Carter said

He took me out back and we went to the wall. He pushed the vines away and open a gate that was a straight shot to a three I can climb to get to my room window.

"Thank you," I hugged him and ran to the three. I climbed into my window and closed it just as it closed someone turned on my light

I turned around slowly and saw Edward looking pissed.

"Where were you?" He whispered

"At our neighbor's house," I whispered

"You can be fucking glad I didn't tell the rest that you climbed out of your window," he said and hugged me

"Please don't I just need some time alone to clear my head," I said

"I won't now get to bed I convinced dad to let us go to school," he said

"Thank you," I said

"No prob goodnight sorellina," he said and left

I woke up because of a small nightmare I looked at the time and as it was 4 am. I got dressed and since it was a casual day at school I put on something cute. I grabbed my bag and throw in my secret cigarettes and went downstairs

As I walked into the kitchen I see dad and uncle Ang. I greeted them drank some coffee.

"Hey Vi I hope you're not going to school dressed like that," uncle Ang said

"What's the problem I have tights on and my t-shirt and skirt doesn't show my skin," I said

"Okay, but don't you think it's a little too Gothic?" He asked

"Nope it's just how I feel like today any case I'm going to go love yah," I said grabbed my bike keys and left.

I stop next door at the gate and called Carter

C- Carter

V- Violet

C- hello?

V- I'm waiting at the gate

C- Why?

V- To go to school

C- Okay be right out meet me at the front door

Just as I read it the gate opened. I drove in and waited outside for a minute before he came out

"Nice bike and outfit isn't it a little short though," he said

"Thanks and the outfit is fine now let's go," I said

I see his mother at the door so I waved and then got on my bike. He got behind me and hold on as I speed to school when we got there everyone looked at us and Malia came towards us.

"Hey Violet," she said throwing her arm around my shoulder, and started walking.

"What no hey for me babe," Carter said smirking

"Malia looked at him kissed him and then turned to me again we walked to my locker and I got my books

"How are you feeling?" Malia asked

"Crap I didn't really sleep last night and I woke up today with a nightmare," I said

"Damn that must suck," Malia said

"Yeah anyway what did I miss?" I asked

"Well nothing much just some boring stuff, Grey is coming back today," she said excitedly

"Who's Grey?" I asked

"That would be me," a guy behind me said nervously

"Hey I'm Violet," I said smiling

"Like Violet Rossi?" He asked

"Yup that would be me," I said and he hugged me

We started talking and then Ethan came he hugged everyone and we talked until the bell ranged

When lunch came I dragged my friends out of the cafeteria and behind the school

"Why are we here?" Malia asked nervously

I got out my cigarette and started smoking a couple of feet back from where they stood Carter came towards me and took the cigarette and throw it on the floor and stepped on it while watching me

"Why?" I asked

"Smoking is bad for you," he said something and gave me something to eat

We sat down him next to Malia and me between Grey and Ethan. The next thing I know is Grey getting a text and saying he has to go.

I stood up a little after he left and said, "I have to go to the library and get a book I want to read see you guys later"

They said goodbye and I went into the library and to the back and saw something that made my eyes wide

"Ollie, Grey?" I said and they both stopped kissing and looked at me with fear in their eyes

"Vi shit dis isn't what it looks like or maby it is," Grey said nervously

"Vi I can explain just don't tell anyone," Ollie said

"Okay chill both of you I won't tell anyone I'm happy for you two," I said smiling

"You're not upset or mad?" Ollie asked

"Are you kidding Ollie why would I be?" I said

"Because I'm gay," he whispered

"Oh big brother I love you and always will and it doesn't matter if you like men or women you'll always be my big brother," I said

He gave me a small smile and then said, "The others don't know,"

"Ollie when you tell them on your on-time just know that they will love you no matter what," I said and hugged him

"Want a hug too?" I asked Grey he just smiled at me and hugged me

"Thanks for being understanding," Grey said

"Hey family is family and break his heart I will break you just so we're clear," I said joking

"I won't and can't trust me," Grey said

"Oh and that goes the same for you," I said pointing at Ollie

I grabbed the book I wanted and left the love birds alone.
