Chapter Thirty-Five

Oliver (POV)

I was just on my way downstairs when Violet called.

"Ollie I need you to tell dad to come to Grey's house with some men, Grey is fine. I'm taking him and his mother to the hospital now.

His stepfather is on the floor he's abusive so do what you like to him," she rushed out before I could say something

"What! I'm coming I'll meet you at the hospital," I yelled and ran to the door as I hang up

Dame, Leo, and Matt came in just as I opened the door. Dame saw my face and touched my shoulder and asked

"What's wrong?"

"I have to go," I said

"Oliver tell me," he said and crouched so he's looking me in the eyes

"Grey is in the hospital," I whispered out

"Grey as in Vi's friend?" Leo asked

"Yeah," I said and lowered my head

"Okay now tell me why you have tears on your face," Dame said softly

"I'll tell everyone tonight but I do need to go, Dame," I said and ran to my bike.

Once I got to the hospital I ran in and saw Vi immediately. I ran to her and asked, "Where is he is he okay?"

"Chill his in with the doc Sheppard now but with what I saw he had a black eye, some bruised ribs I don't know if it is broken and his mom looked worse," she said and then asked, "Did you let anyone one know to take his stepdad to you know?"

"No I came straight here," I said

"I'll call Jaden and Caden," Ethan said and I nodded my head

I felt like such a bad boyfriend. How could I not know what was going on?

After a while, Grey came out with the doctor. I ran to him hugged him and asked

"Grey, oh my God are you okay?"

"I'm fine O I promise," he said and I kissed him in front of everyone not caring about the rest

"Doc?" I asked after is was done kissing him

"He has a few bruised ribs, a broken arm, a black eye, and a few other bruises they all should go away in a while I gave him some cream and medicine that will help," she said

"Thank you and his mother?" I questioned as I hugged him from the side

"I'll go hear for you," she said and left

"What was that I thought you didn't want anyone to know about us?" Grey asked me

"Grey I love you and I don't care about what they think anymore," I said and kissed him

"Uhh umm" I hear Vi clear her throat

"Dis is embarrassing," Grey mumbled and blushed

"Sir," we hear doctor Sheppard daily so we all turned towards her

"His mother went up to surgery she has a brain bleed and other multiple injuries we don't know if she'll make it I'm going now and go help them," she said and left

I turned to Grey and he looks frozen. I hugged him and he started crying.

"Come on let's go home," Vi said and lead us to the Range Rover

"Take my car I'll take Oliver's car and drop off Ethan before doping off the car okay," Carter said and I gave him my keys

"Vi can you call the fam and say family meeting and that I want to talk to them when we get home," I said and she nodded her head before calling dad

"Dad can you call everyone home Ollie wants to tell us all something" ... "Ok thanks dad see you soon," she said and hung up

Vi got in front and I sat in the back with Grey who's crying on my shoulder. I whispered sweet nothings into his ear.

When we reached the house my nervousness started eating at me so I asked Grey, "You want to meet my family?"

"Are you crazy look at me I'm a crying mess," he said

"Oh come on you look beautiful and they will love you," I said

Once he nodded his head we got out and went inside. We walked into the living room and everybody looked confused

"Guys this is Grey," I said introducing them "Grey this is my family,"

"Nice to meet you, Grey," Dad said smiling

"You too sir," Grey said shy

"Guys I want to tell you something just please don't freak out," I said

"What is it, son?" Dad asked

"Umm I'm gay, " I said and bit my lip before quickly adding "and Grey is my boyfriend,"

Everyone went silent and then dad stood up and hugged me.

"I'm glad you finally decided to tell us," he said shocking me

"Y-you knew?" I stuttered out

"Duh I'm you, dad I know all the secrets in this house," he said and kissed my head

My family all gave me hugs and they even gave Grey some hugs. Then Dame asked, "Why we're you in the hospital?"

Grey, Vi, and I froze. Vi and I turned to Grey and he nodded his head slowly and Vi started talking

"When his stepfather found out that he was gay he started abusing him and his mother. His mom is in the hospital in surgery with doctor Shapard,"

"And his stepdad?" Elliot asked pissed

"Well I shot him in the leg before cooking Grey and his mom to the hospital and Ethan said he called Jaden and Caden to take him to one of the warehouses," Vi said

"And he will pay for what he did," I growled

"Well then since it is almost lunch let's go eat," aunt Sara said

We all went to the dining room and started eating when Vi's phone ranged

She looked at the screen and open the gate the next thing we know is someone knocking on the door

She stood up and went to the door. After a few seconds, she came back with Carter.

"Hey guys this is Carter out next-door neighbor and my and Grey's friend," she introduced us

"Nice to meet you, are you staying here for lunch?" Aunt Cam said

"If it's not much trouble," he said politely

"Not at all sit-down," she said and gave him a plate full of food

Violet (POV)

After we ate Carter and I went up to my room and we started building a puzzle as we watched some movies.

"Vi I'm telling you it goes there," Carter argues with me about where my piece of the puzzle goes

"Carter mind your own business and build on your side," I said

We see a flash go off and we both looked up to see dad with a camera in his hand

"Dad!" I whined because I don't like photos.

"It wasn't me," he said shrugging his shoulders before he disappeared

"Sorry about that," I said making Carter laugh

"Don't be they missed out on so much that they have to catch up," he said

"I guess your right I never really thought about it like that," I said and we started building again

After a while, Dante came in and brought lemonade he also gave me my meds

We finished the puzzle and went downstairs and I said goodbye to Carter.

After he went home I went to the living room to see Ralph and his family there.

"Ralph!" I said excitedly

"Hey amore," he said and kissed my head

"Hello," I said to his family

"Vi, did your friend leave?" Uncle Aless asked

"Yeah just now why?" I asked

"Okay good because we need to talk the annual ball is coming up in four days and we still need to het you a dress," Dad said

"Ball?" I questioned

"Yes the Mafia ball where we make aliases and friends with other Mafia's," Dame said

"Cool but do I have to go thou?" I asked really not wanting to go

"Yes, you have to," Uncle Aless said

"Okay," I said with a smile

"What are you smiling for?" Oliver asked

"Nothing is Grey going to be your date?" I asked him to change the subject

"Yeah I can't wait," he said and I left then heard him say, "Hey wait she's good at changing subjects and avoiding stuff,"

I smirked and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a water bottle and then went back to the living room

"When's dinner?" I asked

"Oh we're going out tonight all of us so go get ready," Dad said

I ran upstairs and quickly jumped into the shower. After I was done I got dressed

I went down and said we could go and Ralph took my hand and lead me to his car.

To my surprise, my brother didn't say anything. We got to the restaurant before the others and went inside

As we sat down the rest of our families came in.

We ordered our drinks and food and started talking.

The night went by fast and we all had so much fun. When we got home the Roman's asked to stay the night

Right now I'm lying in my bed and looking at the ceiling and slowly fell asleep.

When I woke up I went down to the kitchen in my pj's and grabbed a mug before pouring some coffee in

"Nice I can definitely see this every day," someone behind me said making me jump

I turned around to see an older couple and two boys staring at me. I put my cup down

"Hey, and bye," I said realizing I was in my PJ's I ran out of the room and went into mine.

I quickly got dressed after I was done I went back downstairs to see Ralph and my dad

"Oh, good Violet you awake I want you to meet Hansen and his wife Donna and their two boy's Brent and Gareth," Dad said

"We meet her shortly today btw cute PJ's," Brent said and winked at me

The next thing we knew he was pressed against the wall and Ralph hold him by the throat

"Don't you ever dare wink at my girl or even look at her again, Got it, cousin?" Ralph said angrily

Brent nodded his head and once Ralph released him he started to gain his breath

"Hey beautiful," Ralph said to me and kissed me. My dad cleared his throat and said, "Well let's go eat shall we?"

"Where's the rest?" I asked

"The boys went on a mission, your aunts, grandmother, and Ralph's mom went shopping, and Oliver and Grey is in the dining room," Dad said

"Okay it's nice to meet you guys btw," I said

"Nice to meet you to dear," Donna said glaring at me

I held Ralph behind and the rest went to the dining room.

"Everything okay love?" He asked and put my loose hair behind my ear

"Who are they?" I asked

"It's my aunt and uncle, why?" He said

"They don't like me very much," I mumbled

"Nonsense they love you okay stop worrying," he said and let me to the table

"Took you two long enough," his aunt Donna said bored

"Sorry," I said and sat down

We said grace and started eating when Donna said, "Violet dear tell us about yourself, "

"Well, I used to live with my aunt and her husband in Los Angeles, I like drawing and painting and that's about it," I said

"Cool and your weapons choice?" Brent asked

"Bow and arrow,"

"Why did you live with your aunt and not with your family?" Donna asked

"Donna enough you don't need to know," her husband Hansen said

"I'm just getting to know my new family Hansen," she said and rolled her eyes

"So Donna who long have you guys been married?" I asked not so politely

"Well only a month," she said

"Cool let me catch you up on some stuff then 1 never ask me anything about my past or anyone for that matter if I trust you which I don't I will tell you.

Until then why don't you start by dropping your act and start acting like your part of this family," I said and stood up

"In not so hungry anymore can I be excused?" I asked my father who nodded his head

Just before I left Ralph asked my dad, "Mr. R can I take Vi out?"

"Sure just be back before 6," dad said

He took my hand and we left as we climbed into the car I asked, "Where are we going?"

"Surprise," he said

We listen to music as he drives. I started singing loudly. I stopped singing when I saw him starring at me

"What?" I asked

"Your voice sounds like an angel's voice," he said
