Chapter 16: Ride or die

John was driving towards megaton while thinking heavily about what he just saw in that house, but he knew the system should give him more information once it gets finished analyzing.

As he got within the twenty-mile mark he heard music coming from a guitar which was coming from behind him and when he looked back he saw the most ridiculous thing he ever seen in both lives, " What the hell are they trying to Mad Max chase me?!?"

Behind him was were five cars and a couple of SUV's one of which was playing Ride of the Valkyrie which almost drone out the engines belonging to raiders, John looked in his inventory which he realized that he still had the 50 cal. and a couple boxes of ammo so he asked the system to install the gun on top and weld the armor to the outside hull.

As the gun and armor disappears from his inventory he felt the car get slightly heavy and noticed both were attached, so he quickly drove over to some rock formation and waited for the raiders to so he could plant an ambush for so he got out of his car and took the ammo out and started to load the gun up, then he attached a couple of triggers to the steering wheel so he could use the guns on top.

After a quick run through, he was a little happy about the customization that the system did and also for the test run he was about to run.

Raiders quickly sped up towards megaton John was guessing that they were going to raid the town, so he thought he might take the initiative to dwindle the raider down with his new toy on the car. It didn't take long before he saw them almost on top of the town before he pressed the triggers on the wheel and letting loose hell on the unexpected enemy.

The raiders never knew what hit'em when John turned the corner towards their rear vehicle and using burst fire with the .50 cal towards the back of one of their SUVs, making the SUVs occupants become mincemeat and flipping it into a ditch. While he was taking his time to destroy the big threats towards the walls of Megaton a couple cars rushed him at his sides and making him bump into the destroyed SUV he killed. While he was trying to control his car he looked to see the raiders pump themselves up with jet and other drugs he didn't recognize one planned to jump on his car well they were driving so he gave that a surprise of buckshot to the raiders face as he jumped. After shooting his face off he slams on his brakes and unloaded the .50 cal on the some of the rest of the raiders that were driving with their side facing him.

The rest of the convoy backed off after watching the carnage roll out in front of them, and then they returned towards where ever they came from. As he watched the dust trail move over the horizon he was wondering if anything like this happened before he got here.

When he was thinking to himself he didn't notice that some of the guards and Lucas Simms walked over to talk to him, " Damn son that was pretty amazing where'd you get the car and also the firepower?" Seeing him nodding his head towards the car and gun on top. John watched as the some of the guards were checking the car and the 50 on top, John was thinking of an answer but so he told them, " I found this beauty in a garage near the city it looked like the previous owner died from a broken leg and a few shots to the chest."

After hours of cleaning up the dead raiders around the town, John and the rest went into town moving towards Moriarty saloon to have a few drinks for protecting the town. He meets up with a few people he's seen around town one of which is Nathan the old man always talking about the enclave. After talking to a few people in town he went towards John went walking around taking in the sights of the megaton that was bigger than the original.

There were places and stores that he hasn't seen before some were clothing to a few food places all of which made this place more lifelike by the minute.
