Duet

" I am just testing you if you are concerned with me don't ignore me " said Adrian in fact it is the truth he wanted to know if Lilith was concerned he didn't like all her attention to Kyle.

" So this is the reason, of course I am concerned you are my friend " said Lilith

" So will you forgive me " " no it cost all your comics deal or no deal " said Lilith acting angry " deal" said Adrian with a smile.

Lilith learned how to bicycle, Kyle, Adrian and her hang out everyday at school like usual.

One year passed and Kyle transferred to a boarding school. Lilith and Adrian doesn't really hang out at school anymore because he became a senior and the timing to go to school is different so does their lunch break , end of classes and timing to go to tuition. She go to tuition in the morning and he goes in the afternoon and also began to hang out with new friends.

Three of them lost communication for two years.

Lilith is now 11 years old, her father cut her hair short like boys like she always do. There was an announcement in school today for a duet song competition between all the schools of their state. She wanted to try out, many students came for the screening and she was selected. She was very happy and excited.

Lilith was standing in front of the room where she will meet her partner and the teacher who will guide them with their focals and lyrics.

She nervously opened the door and the first thing she saw was a handsome boy sitting there and looking at her with a shock face.

The boy turned out to be Adrian they haven't properly seen each other for 2 years after Kyle transferred school .

" It's you " Lilith said pointing at Adrian " Long time no see you haven't changed a bit " said with a smile. " Why are you here I thought you didn't like singing " said Lilith sitting down "well I don't like it but my teachers forced me because I have a great voice and they want to win this competition this year ... but why are you here I never heard you sing " " I passed the screening and I never sung because I don't want you to hear it" said Lilith jokingly.

The teacher came in " alright students I will be your teacher for your song and vocals I will teach you two to sing perfectly " said the teacher with a warm smile.

They carried on with their lessons and finally they take a break. Lilith was resting on her desk when Adrian pulled her hair making her stood up. " Why are you pulling my hair " said Lilith angry " I didn't do it I was sleeping on my desk " said Adrian " are you kidding me only the two of us are sitting in this class do you take me for a fool " said Lilith punching his shoulder. " I am innocent I didn't do it, it must be a ghost " said Adrian pinching her cheeks.

Both Lilith and Adrian pinched each other cheeks and stretch as far as they " you look like a clown with that face " said Adrian trying to spread clearly " you are ugly yourself " said Lilith. They heard sounds of footsteps so they quickly turned back to sit normally.

" What happened to your cheek they look red " asked the teacher .

" We were so sleepy that we pinched our cheeks awake " said Adrian. " Two of you must work hard we must win this competition"

Two of them practice really hard day after day with some pranks and punching until the day of the competition.
