Who am I?

Their flight landed in the early hours of the day, most of the guards were now awake while Gina moved with the aid of Peres holding firmly on her waist.

Lina’s eyes were heavy for her because she was awake all night long, she wished that they would get to their destination quickly.

Lina was surprised to see that vehicles were already waiting for them, maybe Lyle or Peres was influential, she couldn’t tell.

They arrived a building, a three story building precisely which was located at the outskirts of the town, it was an old building though it was probably fenced, it was in the middle of a forest, lot of tall trees filled the whole vicinity.

Everyone alighted the vehicles, the men helped in bringing down their luggage from the booth of vehicles. Just as Lyle rang the door bell, an elderly woman emerged from the main building.

“Children!” She exclaimed and hugged Lyle tightly then Peres before Gina, “welcome! You guys decided to pay the old woman a visit” she continued while ushering them in.

“Grandma, we are here on a mission, so we would be staying here, I need you to take everyone to their various…” Lyle couldn’t finish his statement due to the piercing sound heard from a distant

“Uncle Peresssssss” a young girl from inside ran to hug Peres, Peres lifted her up from the ground and swirled her around. What a beautiful sight!

“Aunty Ginaaaa” she continued and hugged her as well,

“Natalia, have you forgotten your manners?” The elderly woman asked, rolling her eyes “no grandma” it was more like a whisper “now greet!” She continued and her {Natalia} eyes locked with Lyle and she held onto Peres tighter.

Though his face was calm and void of emotions, his intimidating aura was nothing to write home about, his eyes conveying lot of messages to the young girl

“Get off it Lyle, say something! And stop making the young girl afraid of you” Adam stated loudly. Lyle finally shifted his gaze from her to the elderly woman and then said

“I’m in my room, no disturbance” he intentionally emphasized on ‘no disturbance’ because of Peres and Adam.

The elderly woman took everyone to their various rooms and finally it was Lina’s room

“Gezz, we just have one room left and there two persons left” the elderly woman mumbled to herself but loud enough for Lina and Pearl to hear. They happened to be last two, what a coincidence?

The woman was still mumbling to herself when Lyle came out from a room, he was half naked as he revealed his upper bodies, his back was covered with a dragon tattoo. ‘How can a man be this hot just with only his upper bodies revealed?’ Lina asked inwardly, she tried her best not to stare

“What is the problem?” Lyle asked “we have one room left and two persons left, what should I do?”

“They should share the room” Lyle replied nonchalantly “what?!, that is not happening, I can’t be sharing room with her, not that she is bad but I am a princess and I have never shared a room with someone before and will never” Pearl fired

“Please prince Lyle, I…I can’t share a room with her” Pearl continued this time around her voice was pleading “alright, Natalia has a room to herself, she wouldn’t mind if she shares room with someone or would she?” Lyle asked “No! Definitely not” the elderly woman replied with a smile.

Things happened to fast for Lina to understand, one minute she was going to share a room with Pearl, the other she is sharing a room with a little girl, is she not a princess as well? She clenched her fist while following the woman leading her to Natalia’s room

Lina was upset with herself, she was double crossed and she hated that fact. “Welcome” the woman said ushering her in the room “your luggage would arrive in no time” she smiled at her.

Lina took a quick glance around the room, which was decorated with a ‘hello kitten’ design, it had a bunk bed. Lina walked towards the door at the extreme and opened it. There was a beautiful garden in front of her, ‘wow!’ She exclaimed inwardly

“Intruder” her little voice echoed and Lina turned to view her, she positioned like someone ready to attack a real intruder

“Natalia, it’s nice…” Lina couldn’t finish due to Natalia interrupting her “it’s Talia, I hate it when people call me my name in full” Lina couldn’t help but smile at her orders

“Okay, Talia, it’s nice meeting you, I’m sharing this room with you per Lyle’s instruction” Lina explained “oh! I see” she said straightening up her posture

“Are you learning how to fight?” Lina asked “like karate, yes, I love it” she replied walking to her bed and climbed on the upper one

“I don’t even know your name” she said “I’m Elina shortly called Lina” she replied and smiled

“I want to shower and rest, I hope I can get that” Lina asked “yes, the bathroom is the other door” Talia replied and Lina undressed and went inside the bathroom.

After taking a long cold bath, Lina slid into a short black gown and packed her hair in a messy bun before climbing on the bed to sleep, she needed that.

“Aunt Lina, I am just been curious, can we be besties?” Talia asked “yes, of course” Lina replied.

Sharing room with Talia wasn’t as bad as she thought “can I ask you a very sensitive question?” Talia asked “yes, go ahead” Lina responded

“Who am I?” Talia asked “I don’t get” Lina sat up properly

“Am i a demon?, witch?, fairy?, or human and don’t dare lie to me because I know that such things exists, and I’m not a human because I have so much superpowers that humans don’t have and each time I ask my grandma, she would say I am too young for this. So who am I?”
