Chapter 10: Something I wanted to ask

That night, Aj couldn't sleep and she kept thinking about what her dad said. If what her dad said was true, then her mum didn't die but she abandoned her, which was worse. But why? Why would her mum have abandoned her, a four year old at that time?

When Aj slept, it was already past 5 in the morning. She had barely slept for three hours when her phone rang, jolting her back to reality. She picked up her phone and was greeted by her friends

'Morning girls' Aj said

'Aj please tell me you aren't just waking up' Dd said

'Well, I am' Aj replied

'What!! Aren't you supposed to be getting ready to come back to Ulsum?' M asked

'Jordy already told us that your dad requested for you to return back home but we didn't think that will destroy our plans of you coming for the game' Lizzy said

'Yeah we thought you were going to come from over there. The guys finally agreed to participate in the championship games and now you aren't even coming?' Dd whined

'Fine I'm on my way' Aj said and cut the call immediately.

Aj had made up her mind to attend since she needed to clear her mind from what had happened the day before. Normally, she would have sneaked out of the palace. The palace was said to be impossible to escape from or sneaked into but considering that Aj grew up there she was the only exception to that rule. But since she didn't have the time nor the energy, she decided to just teleport from the palace

(Just so you know, as the princess of Lavanya, she had super powers)

After she finished preparing, she teleport away from the palace to a helipad.

She wasn't allowed to fly a helicopter on her own, it was against her father's rules but she didn't have much of a choice. She couldn't teleport all the way to Ulsum because of the distance, so she decided to fly her private helicopter

She arrived and landed on top of a building close to the place she had agreed to meet with the girls but unknown to her, her dad had found out about her disappearance from the palace and guessed she must have gone to Ulsum. Therefore, he ordered the guards stationed at Ulsum not to let her leave

Aj called her high-technology car. Her car, Tammy was a car made like the transformers but better. Her car could transform and look exactly like a human, it could also transform into any animal.

Tammy came and arrived at the parking lot of the building from where Aj got in and let tammy drive herself

She reached the parking lot of the building she was meant to meet the girls. But when she got downstairs, the guards approached her.

'Your Highness, your father asked us to take you home' one of the guards said. By this time, she had already put on her face cap and sunglasses

Before the guards knew it, she had started running away leaving the guards in a hot chase as they ran towards the mall she was and just as she was running, F4 arrived and the fans were being held by guards. Aj mouthed to Jordy to please help her and Jordy instantly recognised her as Aj. He doubted he wouldn't be able to recognise her anytime

To help her, he whispered to the head of the guards to tell all the guards to release the fans and gather them up after 10 seconds. By doing this, Aj slipped into the crowd and escaped from the guards.

Later on, she removed her disguise when she was sure no one was watching and wore a mask and sunglass instead. She made her way to the elevator and when the elevator stopped with a cheerful ding, she was startled to see Jordy in it. She got in and tapped on the floor she was going to before turning to him.

'Hi' she greeted him cheerfully

'Hey. Uhm who were those chasing after you' he asked

'Oh they were my dad's guards' Aj said

'Then why were you running away from them?' He asked her

'It's a long story' she said without glancing at him. She didn't want to start explaining everything to him.

'Oh ok. Uhm...' he trailed of

'What are you trying to say?' She asked

'Last time, there was something I wanted to ask before you left' Jordy started
