Chapter 49 : Looking to the Future
Blair’s POV
These past three weeks have been a bit of a learning curve, but I would not change it or the world.
Ever since Arthur’s warehouse burned to the ground, a lot of vampires went into hiding, many of them either refusing to return to the Luciano coven home or seeing it as an opportunity to finally be free.
Raven happened to be part of the latter party. It did take a bit of finessing and some ingenuity, but we managed to create the perfect environment that balanced both of our lifestyles. Raven, unable to go into any kind of sunlight, needed black-out curtains over every nook and cranny in the apartment.
Considering we are both ‘creatures of the night’ needing to sleep during the day and spend time together at night, it was the perfect move to install the curtains. If I wanted some time in the sun, he would go to a different room and I could sit inside in the sun while we continued talking or go outside and use the opportunity to take a breath of fresh air.
