That Escalated Quickly Part 1

"Oh no, why does she always arrive without warning?!" asked Haruki aloud, knowing he was in big trouble again.

The singer was starting to believe he was a victim of some jinx or whatever. Holy cow, why him, out of everyone else?

Even so, he ran to help Miyu-chan, who was lying and motionless, as she seemed unconscious.

"Miyu-chan! Miyu-chan!" Haruki called worriedly, kneeling beside her. He hoped she would wake up soon.

"Go away," Miyu-chan spoke with a slurry voice, and asked keeping her eyes closed,

"Why are you such a troublemaker?"

"Phew!" the boy sighed. And he added mockingly when he saw she was overdramatizing, but wasn't injured, "We're lucky you have a hard skull and are perfectly fine!"

"Perfectly fine? Really?! Your ball hit my head!" she shouted crossly, lifting her torso forward, and sat down to face Haruki.

"That's not what happened, young lady," Saito spoke coolly, already beside them. He and the others also ran to help her and heard all the girl's drama,

"We were playing. You appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the game. And you didn't pay attention to the ball's trajectory, that was already in motion." Saito glared at her.

The girl's cheeks went red, and she didn't reply to his reasoning.

Saito leaned over to her, reaching out and grabbing Miyu by the wrists. He hoisted her up to stand on the sand. Facing her, he said,

"Come Miyu-chan, let's go to the mansion."

She just obeyed the order, flushed, and head down. Saito took her with vigorous steps towards the house without accepting refusal.

Jun held Haruki's wrist, preventing him from following the group that accompanied the couple.

"Are you alright? Did he disturb you last night?"

Haruki didn't need to ask who Jun was talking about. After all, it could only be Saito.

"That Shibari thing was in the Jun-san presentation only. I must have disturbed Saito-san's sleep with as much as I move and kick in my sleep, Jun-san." Haruki patted Jun on the shoulder, although touching him made the singer slightly self-conscious. "Thanks for your concern. And I'm sorry to have asked Honda-san for something that hadn't been chosen by mutual agreement. So I need to know what your primary needs are, until we leave. Can you tell me, please?" the singer took advantage of the fact that they were alone to ask.

"All in good time. We better get in now. And be careful with that guy. He's dangerous. Mark my words, "Jun said those words angrily. He detested Saito and made sure that Haruki knew. Before the singer had time to answer, Jun walked out to the mansion.

The singer sighed, this bitterness was more difficult to end than Takashi's towards Hinata. He just waited for them to leave before Jun and Saito fought. 'Yes, they will fight one day, and this fight will be ugly.'

At the mansion, he found Miyu-chan on the sofa, drinking ice tea served by Ito-san, and meeting the group.

The singer chose a place farther away from her. Miyu-chan's accusations and Jun and Saito's peeves exhausted Haruki. He preferred to just listen to the conversations.

Hinata was introducing himself to Miyu-chan. At that moment, he was talking about his work as a poster boy for an eyewear brand,

"Well, it's one of my first works as a model. I never thought I'd be a model. In fact, when they discovered my pictures somewhere and invited me, I was scared about the idea of being a model. But it's not so bad, in the end. In fact, it's funny. I did other works, but I like this one the best. You can learn more about my work by looking at my social networks. And of course, you could follow me there… I know you from your social accounts, to be true. You write so well! I like it when you share your poems with your readers, too. How do you..." Hinata was charming and adorable. Quite contrary to his usual behavior.

Miyu-chan didn't respond to Hinata's comment. Instead, she looked at Daisuke and asked, "Talk a bit about yourself, I want to know you better."

Hinata showed surprise, and then shame. He had talked a lot about himself, his work on this project to be a model. In addition to not showing any consideration for the boy, she simply dismissed him from the dialogue. She turned her body to face the influencer who was staring at her in silence.

Miyu-chan insisted on repeating the question,

"You should answer Okane Hinata first," Jun spoke from the other corner of the room.

She turned to the singer, and stared at him. Then she asked,

"But it's you who need to introduce yourself," she said, pouting like a little girl.

Tired, Haruki decided he had seen enough. He left silently, heading for the stairs. He wanted to take a shower and get some rest before dinner.

"Hey, you!" Miyu-chan spoke when Haruki put one foot on the step.
