chapter 84: That night ( 4 )

When Calcel had left the party , May waited but he didn't come back. She tried to call him but the phone was in his car.

" Where did he go ? " She thought. She walked out of the hall when she bumped into David.

" Have you seen Ms Alyssa around ? " David asked.

" No sir. You mean she's also not around ? " May asked getting worried.

" Yes. " He answered.

David was in whammy. He didn't know what to do. He looked around and decided to call his driver such that he could leave the place.

" Mom , I am going home. " May said to Cynthia after failing to get Calcel. All the other guests were departing already.

" Where's your fiance ? Cynthia asked.

" I think he got an emergency. Excuse me ! " May said and left .

" I think I should get going too. " Cynthia said to Juliana.

" See you then. Very soon , On their wedding day. " Juliana said as they both laughed.

" Okay. Good bye. " Cynthia said and pecked Juliana on the cheek.

When David didn't find both Alyssa and Calcel he wondered where they could be.But without bother , He left and entered his bed. He was already tired.

On reaching home , May sat angrily on the sofa.

" Mom , What if Calcel and Alyssa are together ? " May asked not settled. She thought something must be happening.

" Why so u think so my love ? " Cynthia asked.

" Because they all left the party early. " May said.

" That doesn't mean that u should conclude like that. " Cynthia said.

" Mom , You don't understand it. I feel like Calcel has feelings for her. " May confessed.

" But it's impossible. She's his step mother. " Cynthia argued.

" Mom , I have seen them very many times. The first time I saw them he was holding her waist , Then when coffee poured on her he carried her in his arms..I can see the way they have been staring at each other. " May narrated and gave her mother a sad look. " Mom , I am worried. What if the two have something going on ? " She asked releasing a tear.

Cynthia crossed her arms around her chest and walked to sit besides her daughter . " My dear , There's nothing to worry about. Let's first find out where they both are and then we can make assumptions later. " Cynthia said calming down May.

' And if I find something , I will never forgive the whole family. ' Cynthia thought in her mind.

Ms Jenny had tried to wait for Calcel but he wasn't returning. Nor was Alyssa.

" Where could they be ? " She asked herself confused.

She had asked David to sleep and have some rest as she could take care of it all. She got her phone and rung Gladys. But she was also not picking.

She had got drunk at the party and only taken home by one of the friends she had made.

While they left the party , They had noticed that Calcel's car was gone but Alyssa was there untouched.

First wait ! Jenny thought and drove back to the party hall.

" Can I check the CCTV cameras on the park ? " She asked one of the guards.

" Sure ! " The guard said and Jenny switched on. Whatever she saw shocked her.

Alyssa had gotten out of the hall first . As she stood , Calcel came. They talked whatever she couldn't hear and the next thing she saw on the tv was Calcel carrying Alyssa his car and driving it off.

" Oh my God ! What if they had a quarrel ? " Jenny thought. She knew Calcel hated Alyssa and if they had a quarrel it wouldn't be a surprise.

" Delete this , Don't let anyone see it. " Jenny told the guards bribing them with some money.

She didn't know where to search from but she calmed down and waited for the next day. If they didn't return , She would obviously do something.
