Chapter 169: I am your boyfriend !

Gladys got a cub to Hopkinsville media. When she reached the main entry door, The two guards who were standing there stopped her.

" Ms, Are you part of this company ? " They asked.

" No Sir. I just wanted to meet someone there." She said calmly.

" Do you have any appointment ? " The other one questioned.

" No Sir.."

" We are sorry Madam. You can't enter unless you have an appointment. " They said.

" But Sir.."

" No Ma'am. Please leave ! "

Just like that Gladys walked away. She sighed wondering if her suspicions were wrong.

Alyssa was inside and she wondered how she was going to settle this.

" Don't you know about her ? " Camilla asked.

" The truth she was a friend of me before I lost my memory. But I don't remember anything at all. " Alyssa responded.

" You know what Marvis, You need to talk to someone who knew you very well before the accident. And that person is your father..." Camilla suggested.

Robert had not heard from his daughter again ever since the day she left the house. He had continued with his job of driving his cub.

He went back to his house after work when he found Matt preparing their dinner.

" Honey , I am back. " Robert said to Matt.

Matt rushed to him with the newspaper in her hands.

" I am glad that you are back. First see what your daughter has done ! " Matt said and gave him the newspaper.

Robert read through it as it said that Marvis is imitating the late Alyssa.

" When was this released ? " Robert asked

" This morning. " Responded Matt

" I knew something was wrong with your daughter. When we heard the news two weeks ago I wondered where she got the talent from. Yet all along she has been working hard to copy a dead person. Your daughter is so disappointing. " Matt lushed out. Course there's nothing good she could talk about Marvis.

" I understand. I've also been wondering how she managed. But on the day or the competition, Who sung for her ? " Robert asked.

" Don't you remember that when she sung she was standing behind the curtains ? I knew she was not the one. " Matt insisted on.

' I should look for her and find out . She might be the person who has been sending money on my account secretly ! '

Robert thought innery as he could not tell Matt this.

" Okay Darling, Don't mind about Marvis. Afterlol she decided to leave us. " Robert said.

Matt liked him like that. " That's why I love you my husband. " She said and gave him a peck on his cheek.

Calcel had been too busy to receive the news. He returned to the Mansion in the evening but he had just entered one of the male cleaners came gave Jenny shoes.

" i found these at the shade besides the basketball court. " He reported giving then to Jenny.

" Thank you. " Jenny said and he walked away.

Calcel went to her when she saw him.

" Calcel, You are back ? " Jenny asked.

He looked down at her hands and saw the shoes.

" Oh, The cleaner found these shoes. They are Marvis'. I think she forgot them from here. "

" Then get someone to send them to her. " That was his response.

" How about you take them. " Jenny suggested with a smile.

" Take them ? " He asked as if he didn't hear her at first.

" Yes. You took her to apartment last time so you know very well where she stays. Have and take them. " Jenny gave them to him but force.

Calcel shook his head. Why was Jenny fond of teasing him ? Of course Jenny knew that he would wish to see Marvis again so she told him intentionally.

Calcel had no choice but to go back to his car. He was still in his full black suit and a red tie. Looking as handsome as always.

Alyssa finally drove back to her apartment. After parking her car in the parking spot, she left and begun walking to to get inside. While she walked she became suspicious of someone following her because she kept on hearing and telling slow movements.

She didn't mind that much since she didn't except someone to follow her. Never know it was a neighbor who loved on the same apartment block. There was no reason to think much.

She got the elevator to her floor and after walked along the corridor to her room. When she reached on her door, She was putting in the pass code when she heard a voice talk from behind.

" Long time Marvis.." She heard the male voice and turned to face this person.

He was a stranger to her. A young man who looked to be in his late twenties. He was averagely handsome and tall. He wore a blue shirt inside, black pants and a long greh trench coat.

When she faced him he smiled at her.

" Do I know you ? " Alyssa asked.

The man walked closer to her making her afraid and she flinched to the door.

" Don't you remember me ? ",He asked when he was a short distance from her and he stopped there.

" I am sorry sir, Do we know each other ? " She asked with a stern look.

" So after becoming a celebrity you forgot me ? " He yelled and slammed his hand on the wall just above her shoulder which startled her.

He looked down at her with a deep look and said. " I am Derrick, Your boyfriend ! " He declared.

Alyssa became confused and then pushed him away with his palm.

" I don't have a boyfriend.." She argued.

Derrick smirked and said. " Ooh, I think this is serious. Don't you remember that you were pregnant with my child when you suddenly disappeared ? " He asked.

Now Alyssa clicked this. ' So this is the man who made me pregnant and abandoned me ? '

She said in her mind and then spoke out loud.

" Oh..Derrick, Long time. " Alyssa now put a fake smile on he face.

" I knew you can't forget me. " Derrick praised himself.

As they talked Calcel's car arrived from the apartment parking. He went to the reception first to ask for Marvis' room number and after getting it he got an elevator to go there.

" So...Derrick, What brings you here ? " Alyssa asked.
