Chapter 9

A few hours ago....

Emily was sitting in her living room with a glass of wine feeling alone.

She wondered why it was hard for her to date someone for a long time with all the differences they'd have.

Then a knock came on the door, Emily ladies up and walked to the door still in her sexy nightie.

She opened the door and saw.....Damon.

'What does he want now?' she questioned herself

"Emily......i-s th-tha-t y-you?" Damon asked in a drunken state

"Why are you like this?" Emily asked worriedly

"Some motherfucker broke my heart. Tod-d-a-ay w-was our second anniversary and I caught her cheating"

Emily took him upstairs to her room and put him to sleep.

Emily was about to get up when she felt a tight grip on her arm, it was Damon.

"Please don't go, I don't want you to leave as she left me," Damon said in audible but loud enough for Emily to hear him.

Damon pulled Emily closer.

'What kind of drunk man still wants a woman after she broke his heart?' Emily thought to herself

Before Emily could think or do anything, Damon slammed his lips on hers.

It took Emily aback but for some reason, she didn't pull away.

Damon pulled her closer by her waist and went above her.

Both of them getting lost in lust as they shred every piece of clothing.

Emilia was sleeping laying her head on Damon's chest when someone opened her room door, she opened her eyes to see her boyfriend, Gwen....

*End of flashback*

"Woah, that guy is sexy," Gwen said to Emily as she kick-started the car engine and drove out of the parking lot.

Emily drove into the parking lot of a beauty spa.

"Our second to the last destination," Emily said as she parked the car and stepped down.

Kai was soaking in his bathtub when someone entered his bathroom.

He opened his eyes to see his best friend, Damon Hernandez.

He and Damon have been friends forever. He was there for Damon when his dumbass girlfriend broke his heart countless times and he still went back to her.

Damon was there for him when his mom passed away, and Damon and his parents accommodated Kai when he needed a home after kai left his dad's house, Damon was a brother to him.

"What now Damon? Ashley broke your heart for the umpteenth time and you keep on going back to her. Why?" Kai said as he scanned Damon's face.

Damon walked into Kai's room and sat on his bed and Kai got out of the bath and wrapped his lower body with a towel.

"I can't go back to Amelia," Damon said broken

"Dude, you have to be sure, I don't want you running back into her arms when she calls," Kai said

"I would not and I'll prove it to you"

"Fine, I heard Amelia's birthday is today and you have to go plus I got invited"

"I-i can't man"

"So you're too scared?"

"I'm not scared"

"Then prove it"

"Fine! We'll go"

"I like your spirit"

Both guys changed and got ready to leave.

Kai's outfit was a black body hog shirt with black pants and sneakers with a Rolex and he carried a cross bag.

Damon's Outfit was a white t-shirt with black pants and a black unbuttoned shirt and sneakers with a blade Chain.

"Let me call Emily," Damon said

"Who? Emily Briggs?" Kai asked

"Yes I kinda slept with her"

"What? And you couldn't tell me?"

"I was drunk last night and her house was the first place I thought of. So something happened"

"Woah"

"Yeah. I need her at the party"

"Nice move bro"

"Thanks"

Gwen and Emily went to Emily's house after their spa.

"Why are you wearing that to watch a movie in your home theatre?" Gwen asked scanning Emily's outfit.

Emily wore a short white dress with white heels and jewelry.

"We are going to a birthday so change that thing you're wearing," Emily said sternly

"Oh come on. I don't go clubbing and you know that"

"I have something that should fit you," Emily said walking toward her wardrobe

Emily brought out a red dress.

Gwen tried it on and it was hugging her curves tightly and was VERY revealing.

Gwen wore a short red dress with strings as sides and red heels along with jewelry.

"This is too revealing," Gwen said covering her chest with her palms.

"Geez Gwen, quit being a baby already, and let's go"

Emily got a message from Damon

Damon: Where are you Em?

Emily: I'm on my way

Damon: Aiit see you there

Emily: See you

"Let's go Gwendolyn" Emily said

"I'm coming, Cinderella" Gwen replied sarcastically as she grabbed her purse

Both women arrived at the party in time.

Emily went with Damon the second they arrived at the party and Gwen was left alone.

She went to the bar to get some drinks and mixed them in the kitchen.

Gwen sat alone and watched everyone as they danced and drank.

She bent her head and held her drink in hand.

"All alone Gwen?" Kai asked bringing her out of her thoughts.

She raised her head and her eyes met his.

"Yeah Mr. Leone" Gwen answered in a low tone but loud enough for Kai to hear her

"No need to be formal, we aren't doing business"

"So what should I call you then"

"Kai."

"Alright, Kai"

"Gwen, you don't always have to be formal with me, I don't bite"

"It's just formalities"

"Then drop it"

"Okay"

"Just see me as someone other than your boss"

"I'll try" Gwen flashed a smile
