Chapter 12- Winter's hotel

After Ace left, the reinforcements Adleck had requested for arrived with vigor as they were ready for an all out fight just to be met with the sight of their strongest fighter bleeding profusely from a lump which was initially where his right arm was. He had passed out from losing too much blood.

"How dare he do this to the captain?" one of the spawn hunters blurted out with anger. " If I catch him I'll rip him to shreds myself." another yelled. " Hmmph. Look at you. If he could do this even to the captain, what could a pathetic weakling like you do."another guy sneered. " Anyways he deserved it. The guy was too much of a braggart. Always claiming to be the strongest and having a powerful father among many other things. This is just retribution" the guy continued earning him hateful glances from others whiles others were relieved someone had finally spoken how some of them truly felt.

" How dare you?" a spawn hunter in a green plain looking 'raidsuit' roared angrily as he grabbed the guy who spoke those words by the collar and spat curses at his face.

" Let go off me" the guy tried to push him off. Others backed the guy and same for the other spawn hunter.

" He's dying can't you wait for another time to do this" a feminine voice called out with frustration which causes the brawl to stop before it could begin. The girl who called out was a pretty lady who was apparently Adleck's girlfriend even though he flirted with more ladies than they could count. Anyways her beauty and charm always struck the hearts of the other spawn hunters which always made them envy Adleck.

" Sure lady Yuniver" they replied in unison as one of them called for an ambulance at once.

" I'll make you regret doing this to My Sweet Adleck, Grey Fox" she gritted her teeth as she remarked inwardly.

"Hmmm" Ace rubbed his nose as he jumped from building to building and arrived at the streets leading to the Winters hotel. "Someone's wishing good for me" he spoke with a smile.

" He immediately arrived infront of the hotel and entered. He was met by a beautiful scenery in the hotel. Though Greenland city was poor, the Winters hotel was one of the most beautiful attractions of the city. Some even claimed the owner of the hotel had more money than Greenland city's treasury.

" Welcome sir. How may I be of help to you. A young lady with stunning look with silver hair sitting behind a counter asked him with a smile as he approached her. " I haven't seen her whole body but she's definitely a beauty with a five star body.

" Oh hello beautiful." Ace spoke with shameless old hit lines as he leaned on the counter and stared at the girl straight in the eyes. " Since this is a hotel, I could book a room with our names on it. Tell me you are interested" he spoke with a dirty look on his face. The lady was initially flustered by his appearance but got pissed by the guy seeing her as a one night stand. He wanted to sleep with her and he hadn't even asked for her name.

" Look sir. If you aren't here to book a room and to cause trouble, I suggest you leave before I call the guards." she spoke coldy after calming herself down. " Wow turned down on the first try. You remind of someone" he continued as he further leaned in towards her. " Security" she spoke loudly in a walkie talkie and a rigid voice came from within. " On our way". Three guys came within moments and surrounded Ace in attempt to capture and throw him out. Ace swiftly dodged their attempts. They were normal guards without any spawn essence or gear. Such people were hardly worth his time.

" Come on let me finish. Besides a friend had booked me here as well. You can't treat me like this" Ace spoke playfully at the girl.

Though she didn't know his identity as Grey Fox as not many knew him in the city, she didn't feel at ease with him around.

" Who then!!" she asked with a stone cold tone.

" Tora Sovereign" Ace spoke slowly.

" As if. She wouldn't want anything to do with a shameless bastard like yourself. She's graceful, kind, beautiful and sweet. You don't appear to fit in that caliber one bit" she spoke with a fan girl tone.

"Really are you sure about that. What if I tell you I'm her man. What would you do about that" he asked with a sneer which caused the girl's face to pale but then instantly change to normal. " LIAR!!!! she would never date a scumbag like yourself." the lady roared angrily as if her identity as a fan girl of Tora Sovereign had been tainted by him spewing such trash.

" Then why do I have this" Ace laughed as he took out the token. The lady's face paled at once as she fell on her butt from shock.

"That's right. That's right. It's all damn true" Ace continued to strike as the iron was hot.

The young lady recognized the token as Tora had shown it when she was checked in in the hotel.

'If he has that then it could be true' she thought with a dejected expression. Her goddess' image had been tainted because of her dating this scumbag.

" What's going on here??" another charming feminine voice was heard as a blonde figure in an enchanting silver tier gear walked through the crowd which had been formed immediately as Ace had started his arguments with the young lady.

" Oh it's you Tora." Ace smiled as he approached Tora. " Tora looked at him weirdly before saying with a relieved expression " So you came back on time" which the girl had mistaken for care and believed what Ace had said.

" Please forgive me" she spoke with a deep bow as she realized by offending her boyfriend she had indirectly offended Tora.

" Oh don't worry, i forgive you" Ace lifted her up as he tilted her chin up to look directly into her eyes with a charming smile. The girl blushed slightly and averted her gaze.

Before Ace could kiss her, Tora reacted immediately and threw a kick at him which could have sent Ace to thy kingdom come.

Ace swiftly dodged as usual and stopped trying to hit on the young lady.

"Don't you dare do such things in my presence. Let's move to the rooms before things get more complicated. " She spoke as she approached the young lady.

" I'm sorry for his behavior. He's a real trouble" she apologized with a smile which the young lady misunderstood as a jealous girlfriend who was still standing up for her man.

Tora immediately turned towards, grabbed him and dragged him up stairs.

The young lady stared at them as they went with a conflicted look on her face.

"Raidsuit"

Special clothing which those without gear wear to make battles easier.

It's the same thing Ace wears.
