Invasion?!

Before Nelphy could ask anything, Golbert motioned for her to walk with them. "Come on. Let's go pick up your brother along the way."

"Can they come too?"

Golbert looked back at Nelphy. And then at those around her. "Sure. As long as they don't get in the way of our duties, they're welcome to tag along. Now let's go. We both know Hath isn't exactly a patient man."

With the group in tow, Golbert forced a pathway to open amidst the crowded streets. In one hand, Golbert held up a captain's badge of the city guard. With the other hand, Golbert gripped one of his karambits. And if that wasn't enough, Golbert leaked out a trickle of bloodlust to keep the crowd from asking questions or stopping them.

Their first stop was in the contestant tent. It was there that they found Jash groaning and lying down in defeat.

"Huh… The damn bells won't let me rest," Jash grumbled with a defeated stare.
