Chapter 111: The Battle of Fairy Tail (8)

Releasing a magic lightning bolt at the two Mystogan reacted by twirling one of his staves to nullify the incoming attack resulting in a magical clash resulting a shockwave destroying the nearby glass windows in Kardina Cathedral in the process.

*PASH*

Erza seeing this rushed towards Laxus in her normal armor and rushed towards him with anger in her eyes for the trouble he caused using her Sword Magic <Sonic Claw> directed at him.

*Shinng*

*Shak*

However, Laxus avoided the sword slash behind Erza annoyed having his fist powered with Lightning Magic in defiance, "You made a big mistake stepping up to this stage Erza!! Come on you're out of your league here –"

Before he could continue his ears perked listening to Mystogan slamming his magic staves getting Laxus's attention as a distraction, "You're going to regret this Laxus! Now you're going to see Magic you never knew existed!"

*Sgg*

*GATCH*

*KAAANG*

Slamming the final magic staves down he pronounced the spell's name activating the spell contained within the staves, "<Skyscraper >!!"

*Shiii*

Suddenly Laxus's eyes became blank stuck within an illusion of Mystogan Spell.

<Skyscraper > is when Mystogan first plants his five staves into the ground, creating the illusion that the enemy is propelled several hundred meters into the air. The enemy is then tied up with four belts and a Demon breaks through the sky, reaching to attack the enemy. This Magic is used to break down the mind of the enemy or distract them long enough to prepare another attack.

While doing so Mystogan prepares another spell with Erza seeing Laxus's weakened state being momentarily distracted using this chance to change immediately, "<Requip: Lightning Empress Armor>!"

*Wooosh*

Changing immediately using her Requip Magic donning this golden and light bluish armor, Erza's appearance resembles that of an armored Hellenic goddess of sort. The breastplate is decorated by golden trimmings and has thin plates going up to surround Erza's neck; the similarly adorned pauldrons are composed of two plates one over the other, with the top ones each sporting a prominent protrusion.

Similar protrusions, although less prominent, can also be seen on the armored gauntlets which cover the entirety of Erza's arms; the greaves, on the other hand, possess matching protrusion on them, with a particularly large pair adorning the knee guards, but are instead composed of plates attached to simple, thigh-high boots with high heels.

The armor lacks a waist guard, instead sporting a decorated cloth hanging down from the breastplate to cover Erza's groin, sporting a single piece on the top front and three on the back, which are decorated by large spheres with fur-like ornaments hanging from them.

Using the Lightning Empress Armor grants, her the ability of Lightning Resistance along with Lightning Magic with her weapon of choice being the Spear of Lightning.

The Spear of Lightning is a long spear with two spearheads and has a decorated circular wheel connecting the shaft with the spearheads. The wheel allows the two spearheads to create a cavity between the blades that unleashes an electric beam upon Erza's target. The weapon is decorated with a ribbon underneath the circular wheel that has two loose strands.

Recovering from the change Erza pointed towards her spear and rushed ahead in Laxus's defenseless form but soon regained his bearings witnessing Erza's attempt to pierce him with her Spear.

*Zzzz*

*Zach*

*Boom*

Quickly adapting immediately changing into his element of Lightning evading Erza's attack and slamming his hand to the ground he failed to notice a set of Magic Circles above him as Mystogan prepared his next set voicing out loud, "<Five Layered Magic Circle: Sacred Song>!!"

Five Magic Seals on top of the target using their Magic Staves, which then release a concentrated beam of Magic Power directly below, attacking Laxus focusing his attention on Erza as she felt the brunt of his Lightning attack from below.

But as Laxus tried to move to evade Mystogan Magic he noticed he was stuck in place struggling to move as veins popped out of his head, 'What the hell…!! Why can't move from my spot it feels like something is forcing me here…!!'

Unaware Erza used her <Telekinesis > to force Laxus in place taking the full damage without moving from his spot in a determined tone, "It's no use to escape Laxus!!! How about taking it like a man you coward…!!!"

*ZLACHAAWW*

*BAM*

*BOOM*

Erza grits her teeth taking a hit and feeling the shock of electricity enter her system as Laxus was forced to take the brunt of Mystogan's spell with his attention diverted to Erza but he returned the favor slamming his fist towards Mystogan's body driving his fist into his stomach enhanced with his lightning magic increasing his power.

Both parties backed off after the exchange of attacks, but both remained steady and prepared despite the pain with Laxus wiping off the sweat from his forehead, "Heh! Too weak!! Even with your Lightning Empress Armor reducing lightning damage? Even with the both of you together you don't stand a chance when the Lightning Palace strikes the town!! You both have 2 minutes left before it rains down lightning!!!"

Mystogan remained calm but felt a tinge of concern for the Thunder Palace while Erza on the other hand trusted her ally to do the job, "No. Your Thunder Palace is already being taken care of as we speak. I trust in him to take care of it."

Mystogan remained silent till he finally responded getting an idea of who Erza was talking about in a neutral tone, "You speak of the newbie Silva Knight correct?"

A curt nod was he got as Laxus scoffs at the notion of trusting him a weakling in his eyes the capacity to take care of his spell, "Tch. You weaklings have all one thing in common and that's trusting weak people to get the job done. Even if he dispelled or destroyed them, he will pay the price because of the Organic Link Magic! No one sane enough would dare put their life on the line to destroy them or else they die!! No logical man like that trickster would dare!!!"

Mystogan listening could agree with Laxus' words, but he was also observant of his surroundings as well as how unpredictable Silva was to them.

He was more aware of how many tricks that man has than concern for power as he uses his mind to solve his problems.

As if getting an answer Silva soon comes inside with Archer and Saber side by side to him replying to Laxus holding Grand Chariot in his hand, "Who ever said I had to destroy to get the job done?"

Laxus could only glare at Silva entering but signs of burnt cloths could be seen as he came inside the Kardina Cathedral unharmed he took out the orb containing the Lightning Lacrima shocking him as he spoke casually, "Have to admit taking all of them by hand not the brightest of ideas into my <Requip >. But it at least gets rid of them from harming Magnolia Town, and being able to participate in this fight right Laxus-chan?"

Laxus could only harden his glare towards Silva witting him to disable his Thunder Palace by grabbing the orbs than destroying them.

A thought he hadn't considered because of his attention to nearly everyone in the guild thinking of destroying things but to someone who already planned and knew the story it was simple for Silva to counter his spell.

He simply needs to take the orbs rather than destroy them. After all, the Thunder Palace only worked if all of them were needed to activate the spell or destroy them but not anyone would anticipate the idea of taking them into their <Requip > space.

Then again it was stupid to even think someone would be daring enough to practically touch a Lacrima that was charged with volts of electricity something Silva thought Laxus would never consider.

Smart people expect smart or simple solutions. Thus, Silva used a method that seems to work with the Red Vs Blue show to thwart Laxus' plans.

Use a dumb plan.

To even use a dumb solution to solve a smart solution. People expect a simple smart solution to dispel or destroy them but Silva does the opposite grabbing them to be stored an idiotic solution that costs Laxus his Thunder Palace to become useless.

Laxus at this moment felt humiliated that his plan failed for not noticing the flaw.

Reading his thoughts Silva merely pointed out the flaw in his plan while gripping Grand Chariot in hand with a serious expression to match his tone, "It's elementary Laxus-chan. You think too much like a fairy to consider the possibility of someone in our guild more likely to destroy them than someone would attempt to store your Lightning Lacrimas. It's a too stupid idea to attempt!! Something I took advantage of seeing no sane or logical man would..."

Silva had a sly grin on his face smirking towards Laxus with a shit-eating grin as he pointed out at him dramatically, "People don't expect stupid solutions. Fortunately, I'm just an insane enough man to outwit you going against logic. See even the screen agrees with me…"

*Ding*

"[Thunder Palace: Suspended.]"

*Zzzzz*

*DWOOOOOO*

Laxus yelled out loud unleashing his Magic Power that his plan had failed with Silva feeling a tingle in his spine feeling his Magic Pressure down with a cold wash of sweat beading down from them, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

*GWOOOO*

*VZZZT*

A Burst of electricity surrounds Laxus releasing his Magic Power as everyone within who could use Magic Sense of the sensation of power notices his Power matching the Master with their eyes widening.

But Silva seeing this only smirked seeing a challenge despite achieving his objectives he held on to Grand Chariot activating the Teigu taking the stance, "Damn… so this is Laxus's real power huh? Guess we can't afford to back down now…. Come now to me Carnage Incarnate!! GRAND CHARIOT…!!!!"

*SHIII*

Summoning up Grand Chariot revealing to be the Tyrant Danger Beast Laxus instincts kicked in regaining his control viewing the Dragon coming out of nowhere as his grin turned feral seeing the Tyrant turned into armor.

Mystogan looked in awe behind his mask witnessing one of the creatures known as legends or myths turned into armor.

Erza on the other hand felt the same but viewing the same Dragon more tamed wrapping around Silva in his armor pulling Arifar and Mastema out in the open with Laxus laughing happily at this, "Hahahaha!! So, it is true what I heard!! Someone in our guild uses Magic Tool like dragons huh? In that case, I'll show you even with that fancy gear you nothing compared to me. I hate the old man's lectures, so I kept it a secret all this time, but just this once, I'll show you…"

Getting their attention Mystogan was quick to realize what Laxus meant immediately by his words, "Wait… for you to even determine the blade then…"

*Girik*

*Gm*

Shock was evident in Erza's eyes as she noticed the same posture and form from Natsu whenever he used his Dragon Slayer Magic yelled out in surprise, "What…?!! You were a Dragon Slayer too?!!! Laxus!!!"

Taking the time to inhale his breath he unleashed his Magic Power using his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic leaving Mystogan and Erza shocked by the events as he roared, "<LIGHTNING DRAGON'S ROAR>!!!"

*DOGOOOM*

The two of them were caught off guard by the sudden attack but Silva remained calm expecting this already casting his <Glyph > to attempt to block the attack Saber rushed in front of him as he yelled at the two, "GET OUT OF THE WAY NOW!!!"

Getting a reality check they immediately got into action with Erza moved out of the way as Mystogan cast <Mist Body> to keep himself from harm…

*Creak*

The <Glyph > broke in front of Laxus's power as Saber pulled out Ricochet attempting to reflect the attack as Silva retaliated with an Arifar using <Air Strike> skill to see which one's would win...

*WOOOSH*

*DOGOOOOM*

Wind and lightning clashed in elemental dominance as the air strike tried to pierce through Laxus' roar two images of dragons could be seen...

Both roaring and clashing trying to see which one would kill the other in the elemental clash...

The clash between the two roared out seeing which one would fall determined which one's to fall between each other...

*BOOM*

The lightning won out as the wind got snuffed out causing Silva's eyes to widen in shock.

*Thud*

*Woosh*

In a brief moment, Saber pushed Silva out of harm's way from Laxus's <Lightning Dragon's Roar> vaporizing Saber in a second.

Pushed out of the way from the show of power Laxus's attack was too overwhelming as the <Air Strike> was consumed thus Saber was gone taking the hit. Silva clicked his teeth knowing Saber just lost having partially reflected the attack away above but at the cost of losing his Replica in the process.

However, it did give Silva insight into turning off his Grand Chariot getting some attention on himself as Laxus gloats at the action, "Hahaha! Even you realized that you lost your strongest weapon weakling!! That was <Dragon Slayer Magic> a weakness to that armor of yours!! No matter how tough it is with it being a Dragon it might as well be a scrap heap!! Where's that bravado from earlier!!!"

Seeing the situation changed Silva conceded switching Arifar in the fear of slaying his weapon for Hrunting preparing for another round casting <Invisible Air> rushing forward ahead.

*Wooosh*

*ZZLACHAAWW*

*ZZZZZ*

Laxus anticipating this soon transformed into lightning dashing towards Silva's body as he raised his fist causing his eyes to widen as Laxus launched another attack standing, "Better get ready to receive your beating!!!! <Lightning Dragon's – Ack!!"< p>

Before he could proceed, he suddenly took a knee down noticing a <Glyph > Silva cast underneath them creating a motion like vehicles moving as he yelled at Laxus in a confident tone, "Oh, I know so jackass. But I know what makes you Dragon Slayers weak as well… one of which you all share happens to be motion sickness. <MANA BURST>!!!"

*SHIII*

*Shinng*

Hrunting responds covered with <Mana Burst> slashing across Laxus form. However, he reacted despite being weakened crossing his arms in an X-shape to defend with dragon-like scales forming around him.

*Sheeee*

Tanking the attack it caused Laxus to skid across Silva didn't relent as he activated his <Third Arm Sash> tying around Laxus's leg and keeping him trapped in place, "Oh, no you don't you aren't getting away that easily!! <Third Arm Sash>!!"

The sash reacted by grabbing him by the leg but then smirked grabbing the sash and causing Silva's eyes to widen what he does next.

*WOOOSH*

*BAM*

"Ack!"

Getting slammed into the ground Laxus grabbed the sash using his might to throw Silva out of the <Glyph > slamming into the Cathedral pillars as he stumbles out with Laxus backtracking away from Erza's sword attack.

*Wooosh*

*Shinnng*

*ZZLACHAAWW*

*ZZZZZ*

Quickly avoiding the slash attack with his Lightning transformation Laxus expresses a feral grin as the 3 Fairy Tail members circle around him as he yells at them, "Come get some weaklings!!! I have more than enough to take you bitches down!!!!"

The fight is reaching its climax as the Battle of Fairy Tail reaches its end…
