32 Crossing Dragon Waterfall

Mu Lu had a frown on his face. He didn't like leaving those who are unnecessary alive. That was because of his past experiences. There were many dangers that were all caused due to him having a soft heart, many stories had also escalated in the Heavens about naive soft hearted youngsters, who had helped those in need, but in the end, they would only be repaid with enmity.

"What does it mean by 'rewarded based on performance'?"

While Mu Lu was spitefully cursing in his mind, Ji Chen was confused about the 'rewarded based on performance'. What was it that he needed to perform?

Mu Lu sighed and scratched his head.

"It means that you would be rewarded based on how interesting the events turn out."

These words only made Ji Chen more confused.

"Interesting? Does that mean I have to entertain someone!?"

Ji Chen gushed. He didn't want to be some clown, he was a mighty Divine! Having a large ego was normal, in fact, if Ji Chen liked to entertain, that would've been abnormal.

"The system was meant for entertainment. I've bought information, and it turns out that The System actually sends information to its creators and The Evil God."

Mu Lu shook his head. Ji Chen wanted to ask more, but Mu Lu was starting to create a triangular sigil, he had started casting a Water-based Qi attack on Ji Chen. It launched with a width of around a few metres.

Ji Chen didn't move and let it hit him. The attack did nearly nothing on him and he just stretched for a bit and faced Mu Lu:

"I will clean myself in a while. I don't want you to damage these clothes."

Mu Lu clicked his tongue as he replied:

"Tsk, Do it fast, I don't want to have to smell you any more than I need to!"

It was more of a command than a request.

The attack that Mu Lu had just initiated could destroy quite a bit of the Thirty-Third Heaven! So why didn't it just spread and impact the surroundings? Well, that is because of control. Having control is one of the most useful skills to have! Having lots of strength but no control could be a problem, as the attack might not even make it to the target, there were many ways to distort control, so it was quite common for control to be the main focus of the battle.

Many of the higher realms really didn't have the flashy moves. They were usually bland and straight to the point. That was because most of the Qi would be wasted on the flashiness of the moves, like, wasted on the environment. It wasn't ideal to have lots of Qi wasted on something useless like flashiness.

"By the way, shouldn't we just heal her quickly by using our abilities?"

Ji Chen asked. At this level of injury, he could easily heal such a small wound, in fact, he could even bring her to a higher realm along with healing.

Mu Lu didn't respond, but instead, he pointed towards a question that was at the end of the Quest. Ji Chen clicked the question mark, only to see more info about the Quest.

"Impossible! How can you tell me to wake her up without using any techniques or Qi!?"

This made Ji Chen feel as if The System was a joke.

"She will probably wake up in a while. We just have to wait."

Mu Lu spoke. He then started using more Water-based Qi attacks on Ji Chen. He had covered his nose and was waving his hand as if he was trying to dispel the bad smell from near him.

"Stop it already, I will clean myself!"

Ji Chen instantly disappeared after shouting those words.

"He is gone!"

Mu Lu sighed a breath of relief, the smell coming from Ji Chen seemed as if it was killing him from the inside! Now that he was a gone, Mu Lu could finally let go of his nose.

NEAR A WATERFALL

A young man around 17 or 18 was undressing. He had a lean and slim body, it wasn't enough for it to be considered hunk, but it was still quite muscular. It was the perfect body any man would desire!

"I will haunt that Mu Lu forever!"

He was, of course, Ji Chen. He was in his shorts and was ready to start cleaning the stench that was radiating from him. Even, he, himself, could smell how terrible it was! In front of him was a large waterfall. It was around 30 meters long and had quite navy blue water.

"It's always good to bathe in Crossing Dragon water!"

He shouted as he jumped in.

The feeling that came when he jumped in was like a sense of nostalgia. He had dreamed of such a moment for so long! He wanted to go back to the old days, where he, Ki and his mother would go and take family trips to Crossing Dragon Waterfalls.

The water was quite shallow and it was said to affect your mood. It made your mind calm and relaxed. Ji Chen was feeling quite warm and fluffy. He was in quite the mood to fall asleep, and he did!
