31 Looking for the Emblem...

The girl on the floor had long black hair, which was ponytailed. She looked to be quite young, around 15-16 years old. She was quite pretty, but Mu Lu had seen the prettiest of the prettiest. He wasn't interested in things like those that were young.

Mu Lu had the face of a youngster that was around 20, but he considered everyone that was below the age of at least a few thousand a youth.

He ignored the girl's face and checked her pulse, blood was still being pumped, she was still alive. Mu Lu then clicked his tongue and started to search her body for some kind of emblem. There would usually be an emblem of the family that they belonged to in every realm! It was said that each emblem of every family was different, of course, such a thing wasn't possible considering the Universe's size, but not everything could be perfect.

The place that each emblem was located was different for each person, so Mu Lu had to look quite hard to find it. Most of the time, people would cover their emblem's with clothing to hide away the emblem. Often times, families would choose unexpected places to put emblems. That was because of secrecy. You could find out the other's family instantly by spotting their emblem! That may become a disadvantage at some point, as other's may target you because of such a thing, so many choose unexpected places to put it.

Mu Lu started to take off her clothes. She was wearing quite a noble dress. It was white and almost seemed to glitter in the light and on her neck was a red scarf topped her off beautifully. The material was obviously showing that she was quite a high ranking amongst her peers.

Mu Lu first started to strip clothes that covered the upper part of the body.

Ji Chen heard some noise, so he looked backwards, only to see Mu Lu to be stripping a young girl. He didn't have any distortion to his face. He had seen such a scene many times, and he had walked away without a care. Though at first, he felt bad for the victims, he soon lost out any feelings towards them when he was lectured by Rose, Lavender and Lily about the weak and strong.

"See, I knew you were a pervert! We are quite different though, I prefer no sensual pleasures."

Ji Chen spoke teasingly as he spoke causing Mu Lu to stare back at him murderously.

"Do I look like a bad guy?"

He asked. Ji Chen nodded as if he agreed with Mu Lu's sentence:

"Yes, you do actually!"

Mu Lu put his hand in front of his face, facepalming.

"Don't you have to do this every time when you have to identify other's emblem?"

This sentence had struck Ji Chen speechless. He indeed knew about emblem's, but he had nearly never seen a women's body bare. Rose, Lavender and Lily had always told him that he was too young to know such things. The three were also the ones that found the emblems while he stayed idle.

"Of course I do!"

Ji Chen responded. Looking at Ji Chen's face, Mu Lu had a mocking face.

"Who would've thought that such a 'mighty' Divine would've never seen a women's body bare!"

Mu Lu emphasised 'mighty' as if to show he was sarcastic.

"As I said, I'm not interested in sensual pleasures! Right, system?"

Ji Chen retorted. He had to call in The System to prove himself.

[Beep!]

Ji Chen was nodding like crazy for the first half, but never did he expect The System to know such a precious secret. His head was stiff for the second half. Out of the few novels that came from that Ji Chen owned, almost half were shoujo novels, this made Ji Chen think that 'true love' was not sensual.

"Aren't those the novels that come from the Mortal World?"

Mu Lu asked, in which Ji Chen nodded in response.

"You shouldn't read that stuff, I heard that those things are from the views of Mortals, Mortals below Mortal Realms! What would they know about cultivation?"

Mu Lu laughed. He then turned to the girl, Marie. Shortly after lifting her sleeves, he was able to see her emblem.

"By the way, why do you need to look at her emblem? She didn't do anything did she?"

Ji Chen questioned. Mu Lu looked at him with disdain in his eyes.

"Since you haven't come from the bottom, you don't know what really happens when you find some girl in good clothes lying in the forest. It would be impossible for her to go rampant without any guards, it is likely she has probably barely escaped some tragedy and wants to either find help by using her body, or she had just escaped a minor catastrophe, which didn't damage her family, but some low lives. It is better to just kill them all in one go, these are the kind of people that repay gratitude with enmity."

Ji Chen didn't want to seem pretentious but he had to say it anyway:

"Do we have to kill the bug? I was the one who sent her unconscious. She's even crippled now..."

Ji Chen felt partly responsible, so that was the reason he was on the side of Marie.

"Do you want to take responsibility for everything? Why don't you just die in a hole? She was the one who hid from us, do you still think you want to keep an open mind?"

Mu Lu flared his nostrils. His eyes started to venture to the emblem that was on Marie's arm.

"Her name is Marie Rox... Rox Family, we have to go pay a visit to this family some day."

Mu Lu suggested, only to hear a beeping noise from Ji Chen.
