Chapter 11

Lester pulled away immediately, feeling the icy cold water pouring his body. He found a reason, “You can rest here, Babe. I'll take a look outside and deal with the matter!”

Aubrey would not be able to protest after Lester stormed out of the room like a flash. He quickly locked Aubrey's door and almost flew to their room with Zeke.

But he stopped walking to their room when Lester saw Zeke picking up from the floor a big flower vase with fresh flowers in it. It was approximately two meters away from the table at the corner of the living room. He believed it was placed there.

“Wait, what broken glass did I hear about earlier, Mr. Xiao?” Lester asked Zeke with confusion. He was confused because the flower vase in his hands was intact and no damage at all.

“Nothing broke! You heard it wrong. Maybe you need to clean your ears! Maybe it's full of earwax!”

‘Wait, was the voice of my so-called guardian angry? What did I do wrong?’
