The Light Queen of Aragos, I'm comming for you

While an exchange of important information between a redhead Vampire and a tortured Witch was happening in Redwillnet, Sangruil was under attack.

This attack was led by no one else than Angels and Archangels of Light sent by the Light Queen herself as a surprise for Christopher when he comes back from the village.

Something she thought would last longer but as she saw through her own eyes, Christopher was somehow escaping the rational charts of power development she knew throughout her life experiences.

Amanel and Rox were like students against him, even when they were old, very old.

Rox was almost 1600 years old and Amanel was already mature when he was sent to go with the Light Queen to start the Aragos invasion.

But all Christopher did was play with them like they were children.

The aforementioned invasion started two thousand years ago, which was quite long because after the Darkness was captured in Styx, Aragos was basically almost empty except for a few beings here and there.

So now the question arises, why did he wait for so long?

It was because only two thousand years ago, true strong beings started appearing on Aragos while dying on Earth.

With this development, even when the Heavenly Father practically "terraformed" Aragos to become his personal purgatory at first for the Leviathans, and then for the Supernatural beings of the dark side of the balance scale, he thought the place still needed some "Light", so the souls could eventually turn out to him and become "good" again.

While the souls that were marked as "good", went straight to the respective heavens.

For example, if a God from the Greek Pantheon died, and was considered "good" he would go to the paradise of the Greek Pantheon.

While if God was considered bad, and died, he would go straight to Aragos.

That was an agreement the Heavenly Father chose to make with all Progenitors of each Supernatural race.

An agreement old thousands of years.

While the attack led by her most trusted generals was happening, the Light Queen was in her bedroom, thinking deeply about what she had just seen.

'Even when he is related to Darkness, he shouldn't be progressing so fast! '

Obviously, she knew how those related to The Darkness have tendencies to grow quickly in power, mainly on Aragos, a planet formerly belonging to The Darkness with a core that was slowly empowering dark beings, granting them power just because they were living here.

Which was something similar to Heaven.

'But this is just ridiculous.' The Light Queen thought.

What she didn't know was that Christopher was the main host of it. Darkness was coursing through his veins and the planet was nourishing his body the most, plus he was training. When he had free time or when he just couldn't sleep at night, he went to training without telling anyone.

Training is the key to everything...

A sudden bright light erupted in the Queen's chambers, coming from a mirror where a woman with a beautiful face, white holy attire, and expressionless face appeared.

"Your Majesty~" the Light Queen fell on her knees when she saw the woman in the mirror.

"Melody, did you have enough fun playing with my rival? Seeing your face, I think you had..." the woman spoke, her voice caring order, holiness, power, and some amusement.

"Your Majesty, I don't understand... What rival? " the Light Queen, Melody asked with a puzzled look.

"Hahahahaha~" the woman in the mirror started laughing at the response of her subordinate, filling the room with unknown power, but a positive one.

If someone entered the room, the feeling of peace and happiness would strike into their hearts immediately, but Melody, who felt this feeling so often, it became annoying.

All due to her living on a planet filled with dark beings.

"Your senses grew pretty rusty, Melody, you're not going out too much right? "

"No, your majesty, not much. I have work to do..." Melody replayed.

'Dealing with this woman is always annoying. Talking in riddles plus that power of hers, I'm going to have a headache again,' Melody thought about possible events that might happen after this sudden meeting, but what surprised her was the woman's next words.

"Hah,": the Light entity sighted and closed her eyes, adding: "Lord Salvatore is a host of my counterpart, The Darkness," with an expression of disgust at the end.

"I thought you knew it but when you sent the two, incompetent subordinates to stop him, I understood that you didn't. If you would, you would send at least twenty of them but that would be not enough either."

"Your Majesty? He... He is..."

"Yes, he is Melody! Stop acting like a Chicken! That pest Ardelean is probably behind the sudden power-up he showed up in the village. But I'm not quite sure yet, Darkness hosts were always problematic and unpredictable, so it still might be something else that brought him this sudden attitude..."

"Also, someone else was present in the village as well. The Host and that individual reacted to each other, but it was so sudden and fast that I could not comprehend nor find who that was..."

"You were watching? " Melody's eyes gleam dangerously.

"Yes, and I came to warn you. You should be careful from now on. Someone else might be interested in releasing Christopher out from Aragos..." the Light entity replied.

"By the way, if I remember correctly, you already met that old Samurai... did you? " The Light entity opened her eyes at Melody who visibly flinched. The power in those eyes was undoubtedly that of a high scale.

"Yes... We and Ardelean met in the past..." Melody casually replayed and turned, walking towards her bed where she sat quietly, deep in thought.

"We need him to disappear. It is the only way we can forbid Christopher to communicate with the Darkness. If we cut him off, he will be nothing more than an Original Vampire. He will be easier to deal with..."

Saying this, the Light entity remained silent, awaiting Melody's answer.

Melody on the other hand was deep in thought.

Deal with the Darkness was always problematic. She knows that from her past experiences, but its main host, the embodiment of cosmic evil in his own habitat that is empowering his every move was something Melody wasn't sure she was ready for.

'Right now, the Darkness host, perfect... And if I somehow manage to kill his shadow, then only an Original? Woman, are you serious? Originals are basically stronger versions of PROGENITORS, with powers similar to the Darkness hosts THEMESELVES! '

'Beings able to interact with one's soul! Originals have their power, some even doubled with control over every type of blood, holy or unholy, toxic or normal, demonic or angelic, while having minimal weaknesses! '

'They are the perfect versions of them with only one known weakness, Liquid Silver... Where should I find THAT?! ' thought Melody with sweat coming down her forehead.

She wanted to shout the truth right into the Light entity's face but decided to remain silent. It was, after all, worthless.

"Alright, hmm... with this knowledge, I'm letting you deal with him and Lord Christopher. Maybe he is in his best possible habitat at this moment but still, you are the Queen of this planet. I didn't give you Aragos for nothing, Melody! "

"And if everything goes down the drain, use this..." the Light entity threw a black, ancient-looking key at Melody.

Catching the key, she asked with wide eyes: "Your Majesty, are you sure?"

"Yes, I am..." the Light entity replied.

"But Your Majesty, I can't. The Heavenly Father forbade everyone to release such evil again-" Melody tried to say what was right, but the Light entity remained blinded by her own arrogance.

"You can, this is an order, Melody! Show your loyalty and maybe, I'll consider you becoming a queen of Earth after this planet is gone."

"Humans start to be annoying but I can't actually kill them. My Lord has a deep love for them even if the bigger half of humans after their death are entering hell."

"Queen of Earth? " Melody's eyes widened.

"Yes. Lilith, the mother of all demons, with other rulers of Hell in different pantheons, mainly Hades are rising in power thanks to the souls entering their domains."

"With this development happening worldwide, we can't let Darkness host leave Aragos, or we are fucked..."

"He needs to die here, permanently... Do you understand? " The Light looked deeply into Melody's eyes, which were clouded by the imagination of herself becoming the ruler of Earth.

"Yes Your Majesty, consider it done," Melody spoke with determination as she tightened her grip on the ancient key she received.

"I'm glad~. See you soon Melody," The Light entity spoke and her image disappeared from the mirror as the light in the entire room fell back into a regular one.

"Prepare yourself, Christopher... I'm coming for you..." whispered Melody with a crazed smile.

'The Queen of Earth~' she then thought and fell upon her golden bed sheets, squeezing the black key against her developed chest.

...

After dealing with Amanel and Rox, Christopher flew back to his kingdom where a large-scale battle was happening.

While flying, he was finishing some unknown business in the sky while also being followed by his brides who got turned into Darkness orbs.

An orb that contains an individual's soul while the individual's appearance is changed into that of an orb, a ball of flaming shadows levitating in the air.

Flying through the night clouds with his brides following right after, Christopher looked like he was talking to someone but no one was seen nor a single word was heard coming from Christopher's mouth.

Still, his mouth was opening and closing and not even Ardelean knew who he was talking to.

It was like this conversation was meant to be heard by no one else than Christopher.

Like the entire place was sealed or something, or like the conversation was interdimensional.

["Who are you talking to, host? "] Ardelean asked after fifteen minutes of this sudden behavior.

'A subordinate interrupting his Master's conversation while wanting to know his Master's plans... I should punish you, Kai,' Christopher spoke as he grabbed his throat and pulled.

But instead of hurting himself, he pulled away something from his body.

It was a shadowy being, a Samurai with the appearance from the Kamakura shogunate times in Japan.

Looking deeply into the spot where the eyes of the Samurai should be, Christopher smiled like a psychopath.

'Why do you care so much about my affairs, Kai? ' Christopher casually asked through his thoughts.

["Because you are my host and friend! And stop calling me Kai! "] Ardelean replied with a slight difficulty. Even when he was a ghost, the grip of Christopher's hand felt somehow real. As if he had a real, materialistic body.

'When I am your friend, why didn't you answer my previous question? ' Christopher asked.

["What should I say? "] Ardelean asked instead.

"Your answer on the matter presented in the village, dummy! " Christopher said with anger as he threw the Samurai spirit toward the ground, following him right after.

While flying down, the orbs of his brides suddenly started speeding up, and entering Christopher's body as the black gem of the angular silver ring on his right hand gleamed with dark light.

"My dear Nicolle is already with me! So why not you?! " Christopher continued, making Nicolle inside his soul slightly blush as his body started being covered by blood-red lightning.

With the aura of electricity, he sped up, tearing up the clouds.

On the other hand, Ardelean looked pretty frustrated when he landed on the ground, near a mountain.

The explosion his body did was enormous, sending at least three shockwaves in all directions.

Hearing Christopher's tone and words, the Samurai found himself in the middle of a fight between two powerful forces.

On one side was his hated master, The Darkness, and on the other was his current host, Christopher Salvatore, a powerful Vampire that if he were alive, a title of an Original would be granted to him right away.

["I can't choose. I don't have the proper power to choose what I want, only what I must! "] Ardelean, who is at the same time the Samurai known as Kai, replied with anger.

"That's a wise answer and at the same time a stupid one. Whatever you choose, you'll end up with me after all! Just your role in the future society will be different." Christopher replied as he grandiosely landed near the shadowy spirit.

His aura turned fully black, and the shadow his body cast on the ground resembled a large being with thousands of moving tentacles behind his back.

Somehow, the shadow had two visible facial features.

First were his blood-red eyes and second was a large-open mouth with a bunch of sharp teeth tin as needles.

["What do you mean? "] Ardelean asked, slightly confused and scared at the same time.

"I mean that if you choose Darkness, you'll end up with me in the future as my subordinate. If you choose me, you'll be what you are, my dear friend. Or maybe, you even may gain your body back and become my right hand."

"But what is really painful is that, after all we went through, you are still considering The Darkness as an option instead of seeing only me."

"That's not a true friendship..."

["I..."] Ardelean didn't know what to say because Christopher was right.

"See? Nicolle chose me because I would never abandon her nor ignore her like the Darkness would."

"I even insisted on her staying with me, because I want her to be mine. I will pay attention to her and use her abilities to protect her and others close to me."

Hearing this, Nicolle could not comprehend her thoughts her mind was a mess and her heart was beating fast.

No one ever was so kind to her... even in the past.

"And I thought you would feel the same..." Christopher responded, disappointed with Ardelean.

["From where is coming this confidence of yours? How can you know you won't die tomorrow."]

"From my soul. Try to kill a shadow being like me with primitive weapons like the Angels have? I bet you'll end up exhausted with scars and wounds but the shadow will be always there."

"So therefore, I'm confident that I will have enough time to tame the Darkness, after all, it's just a power with a brain in the appearance of a dragon."

["At some point, you are basically right,"] Ardelean opened his eyes wide.

"Plus, I have this~," Christopher said as he raised his left hand.

Immediately, shadows black as abyss started leaking out from his hand as if they were made from a liquid together with Lilith's black and white flames that erupted right after, aiming straight toward the sky.

And from those flames, an old-looking, shabby textbook appeared.

["A textbook? "] Ardelean narrowed his eyes in confusion.

"Yes, a very powerful one~," Christopher replied with a mischievous smile.

The textbook was covered in shabby brown leather and on the upper part of the book, in the middle to be exact, was a golden pentagram with only one star-tip aiming up, representing the "good side " of the Universe.

This pentagram was set into another, bigger, and inverted one, representing the "bad side ".

Between each two tips of the "bad " inverted pentagram, was a rune representing the elements of life.

Fire, water, wind, earth, and soul.

The entire emblem was ended by two circles which had between themselves written a single sentence in ancient Latin.

["In the name of God, do not let him find it? "] Ardelean read the sentence with narrowed eyes.

["What is that? "] he asked right after.

"Something that should have remained hidden from me~," Christopher replied as he opened the book.

Listing through, each page was written by a small manuscript and contained information about all Dark Supernatural beings ever being created by the Heavenly Father.

There was everything, their weaknesses, strengths, appearances, and other interesting things as well...

["Wait... This is..."]

"The book of creation~ HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! We found it! " Christopher ended the sentence with maniacal laughter.

'Thank you my future self~' Christopher thought and looked at the sky where a single star glistered.

When he spoke those words in his mind, the star's light suddenly intensified for a few seconds as if replying, before returning back to its previous glow.

["But how? "] Ardelean asked, interrupting Christopher's silent moment.

"That's a secret," Christopher looked down and closed the book, making it disappear in the flames as numerous plans started building up in his brain.

["Hah,"] Ardelean sighed, adding: ["Fine, I'm with you. When do we test it out? "]

"Oh, but my dear friend... you lost every right to choose me when you hesitated in the first place..."

["...What? "] Ardelean asked while leaning his head to the side, seemingly confused.

"You lost almost all my trust and confidence in you. For you to have an option to consider choosing me again, you'll need to prove yourself worthy... my friend."

["H-How? "] Ardelean spoke, surprised but scared at the same time.

"Fight for me and my family, prove yourself so I can trust you again. You disappointed me once, try it a second time and you'll end up back in Styx. My new friend said that your cell is still empty~."

["A new friend? Wait... do not tell me that-"]

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~" Christopher just laughed as drops of sweat started falling down Ardelean's forehead.

"So the first thing I want is something that was stolen from me by the Reaper... Do you know what that is? "

["Hmm, the only thing I can think about are the..."]

"Yes, I want them back. Bring them, and I'll trust you again... Now go." Christopher said, aiming his hand at Ardelean who forcefully started disappearing in the shadows.

["Wait, host, what are you doing?! "] Ardelean shouted.

"Sending you on a mission~" Christopher replied as Ardelean disappeared completely without a trace.

"This should be enough to teach you to not hesitate again, Ardelean~," Christopher said with a wide smile as he turned and flew back into the clouds while continuing in discussion with his new invisible friend.

His destination?

The Castle of Sangruil.
