89 LXXXVII: A Few Minutes

"I'm still wondering as to how we got mixed among the common amongst the common," A middle aged man murmured, sitting on a retractable chair in an exquisite but dimly lit room.

Few built-in devices produced blinking lights and at the center, a hologram displayed the live feed of the fleet where another man of the same age stood and carefully watched.

"Prinz Fley, I'm impressed that you first came to visit me during The Awakening just to rant." The other man snorted, not taking his eyes away from the feed.

As if hearing a compliment, Fley smiled. A pleased look immediately took place on his face. He crossed his legs and addressed his fellow syndicate Prince, "Eno, no need for the formalities. You are my best friend, after all. Let's just uncork a bottle and chat just like we always do, yeah?"

Eno rolled his eyes to the side. Fley was always on point and more serious. But an incident with his wife changed him as he always tried to be cheerful but annoying at most.
