Evolution of the God Slayer

I, the great teacher and killer, Cordelia Auspin, have died. Died in a rather shocking way, literally. Lighting on a perfectly clear day. And now, before me is an annoying guy calling himself a god. "Screw you, just bring me back to life or I'll kill you!" "You truly are short-tempered. You are far too weak to even think about challenging me, but for what it's worth you are courageous for even trying. Well, off you go lass, a new world awaits you. I hope you can evolve and grow strong enough to challenge me again the next time we meet." My vision shifts and I'm surrounded by darkness when from out of nowhere some kind of screen appears in my view. "Welcome to the world of Grauntia, Miss Cordelia Auspin. Please take this quick survey to decide your place in Grauntia." "... The hell is this?" Join Cordelia in her journey to take down everyone that has, will, and might slight her while she struggles to survive in the new environment. Not even the gods themselves are safe from her wrath. At the underground conference room beneath the Shining Arena, the leaders from each faction of the Alliance have gathered again, although I can't remember most of their names. The only people who I remember are the Dwarven representative, Skorsug, and the man in charge of Draelgium, Thrasin. While our entourage is a bit larger than the last time I was here, we take our seats on the left side of the table along with the Giants, while the Humans, Elves, Dwarves are on the right, with Thrasin taking his seat at the end of the table.

"I take it we all know why we're here?" Thrasin asks.

"The prospect of war with Argos," the Giant Chieftain says.

"The unrest and uncertainty from both the thoughts of war and the unknown bar on the System have impacted our business as well," the Human representative says.

"I've received reports about missing people near the Dragoinds border with the Elves, so I want to hear an explanation for this," Milla says.

"Hmph, what explanation, it has nothing to do with us," the Elf representative says.

"Likely story," Milla responds.

*Bang*

Slamming his hammer on the floor beside him, Thrasin brings everyone's attention to him, "we can settle internal disputes later. The matter of an external threat is more pressing," he then looks to Aurelia, "additionally we have a guest from afar. Since we have everyone's attention once more, how about you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you."

"Aurelia Lausiel, the Empress of the Lausiel Empire, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I've already been briefed on the general situation here. First, it should be noted that the bar on the System will reach 100% during this little meeting. And second, I really don't think you have to worry too much about any conflicts with Cordelia around."

"From what our spies say, the former Grand Duchy, now Empire of Argos, has been using weapons from Lausiel, those guns that we've also recently gotten our hands on. What do have to say about that, your Majesty?" asks the Elven representative.

"Same answer you gave earlier, nothing to do with me as far as I'm concerned. If I heard this right, I believe you initially wanted to secure our guns through the black-market and I would assume they went through something similar," Aurelia says.

"Putting aside the source of their weapons, what makes you say that about Cordelia, with us not needing to worry?" Thrasin asks.

"I'm carrying a near-invincible army with me right now," I say.

"Wait, why wasn't I aware of this?" Milla asks.

"I didn't think it was all that important," I say.

"No, no, that's pretty important and I want to hear more about this," Milla says.

"If it can change the tide of war then I too would like to hear more about this. As things stand, our military power is only slightly weaker than theirs. And that's if we are all cooperating," Thrasin says as he briefly glances towards the Elves.

Looking towards Aurelia, she sighs as she understands my intention and explains in my place.

"To keep a long explanation short, they are called automatons, you might better understand them as golems, but Cordelia calls them robots. Made from a special rare metal from Shengdi, otherwise known as Mons here, they are nearly indestructible and number at a thousand. Their capabilities include..."

Aurelia goes on to give an explanation of the Burning Metal Dragons, but she leaves out their weaknesses as well as information on the Blazing Metal Dragon. As everyone is interested in them, I transform and take out one of the Burning Metal Dragons. After they do a bit of testing, the face of the Elves darken while a few of them huddle up and whisper, but even with my strong hearing, I can't figure out what they're saying, but it probably isn't anything decent or relevant to the Alliance's situation.

As everyone finishes up whatever it is they were doing to my machine, I eat it and bring it back into my stomach storage, the bar on the System reaches 100% and a new message appears.

[All inhabitants of Grauntia will be put under a forced sleep in preparation for the merge with Eternal Universe. Forced sleep will begin in one hour.]

"If there was just a bit of unrest before, then... heh, I'm sure this will tide over well," I say.

"This isn't exactly a laughing matter, Cordelia," Milla says.

"Given the state of things, I say we end the meeting here. I'm sure we all have other things we need to be doing right now before this forced sleep," Thrasin says.

I thought about pushing on just a little more to bring the word count up, but I feel it would be kind of pointless. The next chapter is probably the last and I have no idea how to smoothly end it. I'll think about it. I've been pretty unsatisfied with a lot of things in this story so I might just say fuck it and not think about it like I had done many times before.

Have a nice day everyone.
