As Gil walked over the the training hall he was looking as the status screen and reading the description of the earth attack.

When Gil got to the doors he opened them and waiting for the girl he passed to enter before he did and headed to the corner where there was a dummy to practice on.

Gil was wondering what task he should start and decided to learn the elemental blasts. He activated mana detection to see the types of mana round. After doing what he did durning test he felt a warmth and know it was the fire mana being used. After doing the same a couple of times he now has all the element.

Wanting to use mana more he started firing of blast after blast using each different element when he suddenly had a message appear.

[Mana had reached 10% please cautious.]

Gil didn't realise but he felt tired, but not the normal physical tired. He felt like this was an indication that he was tired from using to much mana.

Waiting for a minute and checking the progress he realised that this would take longer then his original plan. He originally wanted to split his time between training and the library, as he thought stamina could be increased by working out that intelligence could be done by reading. After looking at this he decided to split it 65:35 and with that started to attack the dummy with sword. When he felt physically tired he returned backwards and started firing blast, he done this for 5 hours. Being the first to arrive and last to leave. He then made his was to the library hoping he was right. On the was he stopped to get some food and found most of the people where sitting at tables talking about themselves and there powers. Gil who wasn't bothers by making friends grabbed a snack and headed to the library.

When he got there he grabbed some learners books and the 4 elements he had. The first on "Beginner's flame" was the first he read. In the book it detailed how the power of fire was the least common of the basic elements and the different ways to use it. One of the ways Gil thought was the most interesting was by channeling it through the weapon. After reading the book he didn't see any change in the intelligence status so read the next. After he flipped the last page on the last book about earth he heard the sound of a system message.

Gil was glad his worked paid of. Returning the books he decided to start at a specific point in the library to read the most. After reading for 3 hours he increased his intelligence by 2.

Heading back to his room to sleep he again ended up next to Natasha, who left from where Gil wasn't sure. Again Gil didn't utter a word and that annoyed Natasha again.

When Gil got in his room and the second his head hit the pillow he passed out. He woke early in the morning before any one and got ready to head out. He wanted to go for his normal 5k run before his day. As he finished his run and headed to the training hall he again was the first there. After 40 minutes of slashing a mana blasts Gil heard some other people come in. Slowly more and more people came in talking to there new friends and showing of there powers. Gil staid there in his corner, not looking at anything other then the dummy in front. After switching attacks for 6 hours he went to get food and then headed to library to pick of where he left. Today he spent 3 hours here reading about how the history of mana users began and the first monsters that came though.

He repeated the same thing for the remaining days before the rest of the students arrived. On the Saturday he completed the remaining tasks of the mana blasts and then checked his status.

Gil was happy at how he had levelled up and was looking forward to when the school officially started.

Natasha had been watching the boy she had seen the other day. He seemed to all be working, he always was the first one at the training ground and would train non stop. From what she saw he hadn't spoken to anyone, but she wasn't sure as she only would look when they where both there. Once he left she wasn't sure. One day Natasha decided to look where he went thinking it was to meet up with his friends but was shocked when he went to the library after getting something to eat and stayed there for several hours reading. She wasn't sure what to think of this boy as she had never met anyone like him before.
