Day 9- 11 School Event and a new Yang Chao

Yang Chao studies the new martial art as best he could from the ground up. The sublimation from a cultivation method given to him by Rexford, gave him all he needed for Qi. His Taekwondo was not thrown away of course.

Rexford was explicit that it can always help to know the Martial Art to help take down opponents who used it predominantly. As well as making a new martial art for himself using all he learns over the years.

Biao continued to spar with the Wei 3rd generation with Rexford. When Rexford didn't spar with them, he was diving into the different cultivations methods with the mini. His memory was growing sharper as plans were devised for later.

His control over Gravity and Space grew a lot. So much that he was able to create a small gravity well. Small as in it was the same size of his Internal Space and he needed to never practice it in his Villa without stronger safeguards in place.

A few friends and family members of the original Chen Fan had hit him up during this time. Questioning his change from before into what they consider the city boy look. For the most part, they didn't cause an issue.

However, his parents were upset about the name change. He promptly hung up on them not caring if they understood or not in the end. As for An Youya, she was trying to find out why he was really like this. Thinking it was drugs or he fell in with a bad crowd.

She even threatened to come and teach him a lesson if he didn't shape up. Rexford gave her some nice words and ended communication with her. The same as Fang Qiong who sent a least a small message every day to engage in conversation.

Yang Chao had stayed at the villa the last few days. He was slowly coming into his own as a young man and better in his father's eyes when he told him he joined a martial arts dojo to gain discipline.

Knowing his son was just doing this to gain his allowance back, the older Yang did not put much hope in it yet. But he did carry the hope his son would straighten out some more.

Currently, Yang Chao and Rexford were heading to school.

"Rexford, you really are something else. Why not drive a super fancy car man?" Yang Chao knew he had money. I mean, how else could he afford the villa and everything else. "Take my car for instance.."

"It was bought by your dad and is more an example of his wealth. Not your own. Don't get me wrong, what you drive is what you drive. I prefer comfort and a car that won't have to take pit stops so much. Do not get me started on maintenance cost." Rexford shrugged while walking. A few students looking at his Toyota Land Rover. "Plus the room and long drives.. I like to kick back when making a pit stop."

"I guess. Still gonna ride in my baby." Yang Chao thumbed at his car. The cost alone wasted on the vehicle could have bought him two cars flat out. "I may not have my own money yet, but I will."

"You got that right. I mean accept money given to you, just saying when bragging, use wat you actually earned for yourself or bought. Not crazy enough to say not to take things of course." Rexford made sure to press his keys to lock the car. Not like anything important was inside but it was a habit. "Also.. oh here comes that girl of yours."

Rexford button up after saying that. he wanted to see how Yang Chao would handle Mengmeng.

"Yang Chao, what are you doing with that country bumpkin? Think of your image." Mengmeng asked. "She didn't even give him time to answer as she started talking about something else. "The last few days you havent come to see me! Or even called me besides a message here and there!"

As Mengmeng went on a little tirade, a few students laughed at Yang Chao.

"You wouldn't understand even if I explained it to you. Not like you cared what I said anyway." Yang Chao may not have been the best around and did some shitty things but he would be damned if he allowed her to insult him like this. "You have all the time to pick someone "better" than me."

"Humph!" Mengmeng pouted and left angrily. "Then consider us through then!"

*Shine!* A gold light bridge that connected the two flickered before, lack of better word snapping. The light then gathered into Yang Chao making Rexford blink in wonder. A quick internally gave a nice viewpoint.

Yang Chao's silhouette filled out nicely. A gold light inside him was bigger and brighter. Behind it, several connection points were visible but no one was visible like with Wei Ziqing.

Unable to check deeper into the meaning now, he focused on the Internal Space detecting nothing strange before leaving.

"I feel so free." Yang Chao caught up with Rexford who didn't listen in on the conversation to much as far as he was concerned. It was after all between the two ex-lovers and not him. "We should hit a club after school today."

"Oh, I most defintely agree with that." Rexford was all smiles about hitting a new spot to party. "The best way to get over an ex, is to get some fun under you. If you know what I mean." If Yang Chao wanted to talk about the breakup, it was up to him to bring it up after all.

The students passed by seeing this started to gossip. Lately thats all people were talking about was the new student and now Yang Chao was added to the mix.

"The transfer student is hanging with Yang Chao now, who would have thought." A girl with blonde hair voiced.

A teen with a dark hair and a bob cut looked Yang Chao over in a new light. if he was really done with Mengmeng that would be great in her opinion. She wanted nothing more to than to connect with her childhood friend.

A few others were thinking about how to console the angered Mengmeng.

Rumors of Rexford and Yang Chao getting really tight as friends found its way to Chang Meng and Si Yingxia. Cheng Meng thought nothing of it overall but not the other teen.

Si Yingxia felt betrayed that someone who sucked up to him was going to the side of the person who beat him. What made it worse, Ji Xingyu was not around after what happened.

'Yingxia took his anger out on Ji Xingyu after the fight. Even yelled at me.' Chang Wen was slightly scared of him but didn't want to leave his side still. Thinking about what Rexford said, her cheeks turned a little red. He did stick up for her a little and that made a better impression than Si Xingyia's overall attitude. 'If he keeps this up, all of his friends will leave. And considering those who hung with him beside Yang Chao lackeys, he was not good at making his own friends.'

'Yang Chao needs to be reminded why he comes to me!' Si Yingxia was not ok mentally. Having control of a situation and people envious of him was something he needed to function. It was such a shame that Rexford as not the original Chen Fan. 'I will just beat him a little bit.'

.

Were we even friends-

.

It didn't take long for Yang Chao to be cornered at lunchtime. His old lackeys listening to Si Yingxia to "bring" him to have a match. Mostly wanting to get Yang Chao in the arena and make him beg for forgiveness after a few exchanges.

Yang Chao was dressed in the attire for beginners of the Ansatsuken. The words on the back with gold black highlights looked a little odd on his small shoulders. He was a still-growing boy after all. Other than that, the clothes were completely white.

"You think you can beat me after learning a little from Rexford!?" Si Xingxia was outraged. Their was no fear in his opponents' eyes. This served to make him even further upset. 'His little experience will not let him win against me!'

Rexford had heard what was going but would not stop the fight in anyway. He watched from the shadows as everything went down. A shit-eating grin on his face as he absorbed the violent energy produced from the slighted teen and the lackeys that use to run with Yang Chao.

"I do." Yang Chao took a deep breath centering himself. His feet partially shoulder-width apart to allow for easy movement with a small option to quickly weave away derived from American-style boxing. Elbows tucked in to allow straighter punches and protect from body strikes.

The standard Muay Thai fighting stance would have your hands a little higher with your palms facing outwards. Not something Yang Chao could incorporate with his current body.

"So you have given up on Taekwondo, foolish!" Si Yingxia went for a quick grab.

"A true streetfighter uses everything at their disposal!" The grab was dodged with a weave back. At the same time, Yang Chao focused his balance on his right side. His leg whipped out quickly delivering a low kick. "Not that easy to beat me!"

*Pat!* The blow was solid and knocked Si Yingxin to the side. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Yang Chao went after his opponent by kicking off with his big toe.

Fresh blood could be seen as the layer of skin there was ripped off. That was the amount of strain he put on his body. Defeating Si Yingxin was good for his confidence overall. Defeating him outright even better.

"Hup!" Si Yingxin fixed himself just in time to block the next strike. Not expecting the intensity Yang Chao was displaying, he pushed him back with a shoulder bump. Delivering two kicks in succession to deliver a little pain. "Get real!"

Yang Chao received the first kick to his foot. The abrupt pain left him wide open for the second strike. The second was a push kick to knock him off-balance. With him so close, it was defintely needed.

"Ughh!" Yang Chao backpedaled taking a sharp breath. He recovered his form quick enough. "That.. teh best.. you got?" A taunt was the best he could do right now. 'I should have done that core training as he told me to yesterday!'

"Grr!" Enraged, Si Yingxin attacked in a rage. Which was the best thing considering their experience difference. He tried to do a flying back kickback but was blocked. "What!?"

Yang Chao moved forward and interrupted him with his body mid-air. It was a risky move but he relied on his tenacity to see him through it. Both collapsed to the ground with Si Yingxin recovering just a bit faster.

*Fwip!* A leg kick was blocked using the shoulder and counter with a quick jab to the face. With his opponent's head knocked back, Yang Chao burst with all his strength and attacked. He stepped up on Si Yingxin's knee then kneed him in the face just in time as he tried to fix his head.

*Crunch!* The resulting contact echoed in the now silent gym.

Si Yingxin's eyes rolled over in his head as he fell backward. The problem as that Yang Chao was not finished. He grabbed him when they landed and was about start wailing on him.

"Stop!" Chang Wen jumped in with a few other students. Yang Chao was practically dead on his feet but the others getting in the way was defintely enough for him to step back.

"Nice job." Rexford congratulated Yang Chao walking over. " Let's get those two treated. No reason to risk an infection." The teen didn't move, however. "What's wrong?"

"It hurts.. like a lot. Even burns." Yang Chao's face was twisted up as he held back on the pain. He would not ruin the moment by crying. But the gym floor was torn up where he moved on his feet. "I think.. I have a few splinters in my toes."

"Let us help you!" A female student said. "That fight was so cool!" A few others that were on good terms with Yang Chao circled around helping him up.

"Enjoy it, just meet up with me later, I have some business to attend to anyway." Rexford had just checked his phone seeing a message. 'What could she possibly want at this time?'
