Chapter 3 Unwanted Events
Due to the amount of rage that Genji generated Haruka stayed up with him the whole night... She was comforting him as he explained everything to her....
At the next day morning... Genji was preparing to leave and Haruka came up to him and said:
- Hey...you don't have to go..after the night you know that right?
Genji didn't said anything...it could be noticed tho his expression was serious as hell.... Haruka was worried and said again:
- Genji.... Please...don't go if you can't go... I can see you aren't well.
Genji said nothing again and only opened the door and looked at her and said:
-Wish me luck on this exam.. Alright?
Haruka hesitantly nodded as Genji left the apartment and started walking down the stairs... He was very conflicted about this entire thing... As he walked down the stairs he saw a man in a suit at the reception... He was also wearing glasses and looked at Genji for a moment and then back at the reception.... Genji thought something's that's why he went over and the receptionist said:
- Oh morning mister Genji! Anything I can do today for you?
Genji replied:
- May I know who is that guy?
He pointed using his thumb at the man in the suit. The girl immediately froze and said Shaking a bit:
- Oh..that is a member of the Hero Government command... That is responsible for the Heroes Income and everything...
Genji looked at the man and looks back at the girl and said:
- That's not all truth is it?
The girl hesitantly said:
- He actually..is a Alpha Class hero.... He could defeat most and is respected...
Genji smiled and said:
- So there is nothing to worry about right?
The girl nodded no and said:
- He...he is asking out everyone mostly girls on dates.. and..y..you can't really say no..
Genji realized why the girl was kind of scared... He decided to go and speak to the guy as he noticed he was speaking to another girl..... The hero said:
- As I said you really don't have any choice sweetheart~~.
The girl just looked at him and said:
- M..mister Akira...P..please I..I have a boyfriend!
Akira smirked and said to the girl with a grin:
- I don't care you understand? Should I...say something to your boss?
The girl got scared and just nodded. As Akira was about to take her hand Genji walked up and put hand on his shoulder and said:
- Oi. If you gonna approach a girl and just dump her later. I suggest not doing this while I am here.
Suddenly Genji's aura leaked as everyone looked in shock....Akira felt it and his eyes opened wide as he thought:
- "W..what is this pressure..I never felt one in my life...i..it's beyond any hero...I..it's killing intend!!"
Akira turned around and stepped back and as he saw Genji he gulped a bit and said getting back confidence:
- Oh ho. And who may you be? A nobody trying to oppose an alpha rank?!
Genji just sighed and said:
- You have five seconds to leave or I will intervene and teach you a lesson..
Akira laughed and said :
- Like hell a nobody can beat up alpha rank! HAHAHAHA!
As Akira continued to laughed and joke about Genji the five seconds time passed and Genji walked up to Akira immediately. Before Akira could react he got gut punched close range and went flying through 5 tables and felt down for the wall and coughed blood... Everyone was shocked as Genji looked at him with his hands in his pockets and said:
- A hero of Alpha rank? Dissapointing....
He walked out of the building as Akira felt uncosious due to the strength of the punch... everyone inside just went to do there things while receptionist smiled and was happy... Meanwhile.. Genji was Walking towards the academy location and address.. while he walked he noticed something was wrong..so he went forward and noticed that the gate was closed... He was confused and thought:
- "What the hell.. weren't the tests today? Or this exam?"
Genji walked up curiously and went to a guard and asked:
- Excuse me but weren't supposedly the exams to happen today?
The guard answered:
- I am sorry but there was a attack just the night before.. we had to close up the entire academy.. the exam will happen at night time...
Genji sighed and asked:
- Any specific information who could be responsible?
The guard thought for a moment and said:
- It has been said it may be the ...monster god cult... Or the Monster Occultism Group...we don't know really...
Genji immediately knew some stuff... And he said:
- Anyone has been send to deal with or not?
The security guard answered:
- The Omega class heroes are too busy on Okinawa... that's why we have been very restricted to such attacks or raids...
Genji knew someone had to take action... And he said:
- Any chance there is anyone who could take them on or just resolve this case?
The security guard was confused but answered:
- Well expect some alpha class heroes...there isn't anyone really....
Suddenly a women walked up in a suit and yelled:
- What is happening here guard? Wasn't the academy supoose to open today?
The guard gulped and said:
- I am sorry... principal Chiyo..I couldn't open it since the attack...
Genji then using one of his abilities saw who the person was:
- Name:Chiyo Akabane
- Age:47
- Status: Principal of the academy. One of the Top 100 omega heroes.

Genji noticed the secret part and looked at the two arguing. Chiyo said:
- I will deal with these people by myself!
She then looked and saw Genji noticing and recognising him... And she said:
- Oh ! Is that Genji? Genji Yamamoto?
Genji was surprised she knows him but was ready for the worst as he said:
- Yeah.. that's me..I am kind of confused how do you know me...
Chiyo smiled and answered:
- Lets say I know a person who knows you. I am guessing you wanted to get into the academy?
Genji nodded and said:
- Yeah..I did but I am guessing I have to wait..
Chiyo smirked and asked:
- Or maybe you want to test yourself now?
Genji curios asked her:
- What to do you mean ? Chiyo Senpai?
Chiyo then answered:
- Well.. I noticed you want to solve this by yourself do you?
Genji noticed she may had abilities to let her see others thoughts so he said:
- Alright alright. That's true. I wanted to deal with it so there won't be any stupid things like this happening soon.
Chiyo laughed and smiled and after a moment said:
- Well then. What do you say we can go along there? You know you and I?
Genji was confused but he just nodded and then Chiyo said to the guard:
- Dont worry I will be back soon with the cultist's dealt with.
The guard just said:
- Be safe Miss Chiyo!
She laughed and said:
- Dont worry I am always fine!
As she started to walk away Genji followed soon after... Through sometime Chiyo didn't said anything as well as Genji. But then Chiyo finally said:
- Did you got a call yesterday?
Genji stopped and looked at her seriously and said:
- It was you.... Or someone else?
Chiyo looked at him with also a kind of serious look and said:
- It was a special voice changing device I have. But seems it worked.
Genji clenched fist looking at her and asked:
- What...do you know about my sister...Speak.
Chiyo smiled and said:
- Nah nah~ Not so fast big boi. We gonna talk after we deal with the cult.
Genji was enraged and just calmed down and said:
- Why do you even invited me... If you know my power then why add me to this academy
Chiyo then answered:
- I was lying about knowing your power. I know nothing barely. That's why I wanted you to join the academy.
Genji looked at her as they walked and just thought stuff to himself:
- "So she knows nothing about my power... That's good. But still. Me at this academy it's gonna be weird and problematic..."
Chiyo also thought to herself:
- "This guys aura is strong I know he is hiding it but still...not only that. He is the biggest secret there is."
Both walked forward as the slowly reached a very dark place in the city... It seemed like massive junkyard... Genji asked:
- What is this place..I thought Japan doesn't have this big junkyards.
Chiyo answered as she smelled some fresh blood near:
- Its not just a junkyard. It's a place of cult. From what I know this place is filled with such scum.
Genji thought for a second how he should approach this and said:
- Does frontal assault work or you want to do it some other way?
Chiyo said as an answer:
- I want to get in. And see what they are up to. So we gonna let ourselves be captured.
Genji looked at her in disbelief. But he knew she was kind of right. He doesn't really knew cults before. But they could had something he would need in the future so he said:
- Fine..but only if stuff goes haywire I warn I won't show mercy to anyone related to monsters understood?
Chiyo quickly answered:
- Ok ok! No need to be so angry or bloodlusted. I know you hate monsters. Your eyes speak that.
Genji then said to her:
- How do you plan for us to get captured...
Chiyo then smiled and just walked in the Junkyard without any remorse.... Genji was confused but followed soon after... Just after a moment cult members popped out from the cars and boxes and even fridges and surrounded the two... Chiyo said:
- Ah well seems we are in trouble.
She lifted hands up showing she surrendered... Genji hesitant did the same... He was not happy with this idea at all. Then a very Armored cultist walked out from the group and said:
- A omega class hero and a random guy? What a lucky day for our gods! And for our salvation! Although we will see what you are worth.
The cultist's handcuffed both Genji and Chiyo and lead them inside of a bunker where there hundreds of them... To Genji's suprise... He was looking around kind of surprised and shocked from what he was seeing...Many cultist's were chanting and screaming in pure happiness. Noticing they are happy to see them.. Genji thought:
- "They gonna sacrifice us or something... probably...you never know."
As they walked a female cultist without a mask with a muscular body walked up and said:
- Why do you have to sacrifice them? I say there is better use for them don't you think?
The leader cultist said:
- I don't care. We gonna sacrifice them either way. Besides. You can have them for ... 4 hours max.
The cultist nodded and grabbed Chiyo and dragged away to Chiyo 's shock she looked at Genji asking him to do something... But Genji Stood firm and looked at the cultist leader... The leader looked back at Genji and looked at him closely... Genji's eyes flashed for a moment and the boss froze in fear and shock and said:
- I..I need to speak with this one alone...
The cultist's nodded as the leader lead Genji to the deeper part of the base... He stopped at the engine room and looked at Genji and said:
- What..is the "Everchosen" doing here?!
Genji looked at him and said:
- That girl wanted me to join... For some reason. I just came since I have a good heart...
The leader was sweating just asking questions Genji noticed how scared he was and said:
- Listen just answer my questions and nothing will happen.. understand?
The leader answered:
- Y..y.y...yes .
Genji asked first:
- What will you do to us?
The leader answered after he gulped:
- Sacrifice..to open another gate...
Genji hearing this got angry but he stood silent and said:
- Listen I will stay here for the next hours. Understood?
The leader nodded and just lead Genji into a room . After getting to the door he heared moans next door and asked:
- ...what is in that room?
The cultist sweated and said:
- Oh...that muscle girl is in there...with...
Genji showed silence sign language as he walked to the door and said to the leader:
- I won't stand this.
He ripped the handcuffs off without a single difficulty as the leader froze in shock and genji pulled arm backwards as his arm engulfed in radiant purple light. The leader stepped behind a box as Genji threw a punch literally vaporising the door... He walked in and looked to his right and froze. The muscular cultist had Chiyo tied on the bed and was whipping her as he walked in. Both were naked and he snapped and his eyes glow for a moment and he says:
- Get...off her...now.
The cultist answered:
- Or what? You gonna fight me? You weak ass non believer?
Genji turned around and said to himself in hilarious way:
- Forgive me god for What I am about to do because I say screw equality.
He immediately appeared in front of the cultist and kicked her in the crotch.. the cultist collapsed in and shock and Genji punched her in the face sending her into the wall. Chiyo was completely shocked seeing all of this... Genji then looked at her but looked away and cleaned his nosebleed and said:
- Help you or not?
Chiyo hesitantly answered:
- ....OF COURSE I NEED HELP IDIOT!a.. although I had everything under control!
Genji looked at her with a look "Are you fucking serious now?". He went and untied her as the cultist leader just watched and prayed to the gods of monsters for safety... After a while both settled in the room for.. "guests" . Chiyo said:
- Why are you still here..you could just leave . Why?
Genji answered quickly:
- Well it's because I don't want to see anyone hurt that's why. And because it's kind of interesting what they are doing.
Chiyo looked at him and asked curiously:
- You want to find more about the monsters let me guess?
Genji nodded and said after drinking water:
- Yeah soemwhat..but not only that. There is something else.
Chiyo was curious and asked:
- Exactly about what? May I know?
Genji sighed and said :
- There was this monster that killed my mother...it looked at me.. like a human but it was a monster...I want to find it..and kill it..
Chiyo got interested but really didn't said much.... Both stayed there for the rest of the time of at least a few hours... But. Meanwhile while they were Hold "Captive".
At the Main street at the restaurant Haruka Went out with one of her friends from school who's name was Akame. Both were speaking about stuff... Haruka said:
- Yeah as I said sometimes it's kind of impressive he can just keep going. I am jealous of him.
Akame laughed and answered:
- Well at least you are great friends with him or maybe something else?
Haruka chocked and blushed and said:
- Oh shut up! We are just very close friends. I support him and he likewise for me. So stop doing stupid theories!
Both laughed and continued to eat... Haruka then said:
- Hey have you heard about the academy? Of grandstern?
Akame stopped and smiled and said:
- Yeah I did. My brother is signing up there! I want to see how he does.
Haruka said with a giggle:
- Well Genji also wants to join the academy. To my surprise. Well it's his choice. Can't really stop him after all.
Akame laughed and took out a phone. She then scrolled a few times and showed a picture of a train station to Haruka and said:
- This is where supposedly the late attacks and kidnapping takes places.
Haruka looked at the phot very precisely and asked:
- Do you know the location of this train station Akame?
Akame said with a bit scared voice:
- I..it's at our hometown...
Haruka hearing it was quite disturbed... Her old family town brought her many suffering and devastation in her life.... Not only that. She never wanted to go back there but now.... She said:
- Why...that shit hole..why that place..Goddamit..
Akame went over and hugged Haruka. Haruka was traumatized from the times at her home town and didn't wanted to go there.. but she said:
- If it's gonna help slow down the monsters...it's better then nothing.
Akame looked at her worried as Haruka stood up and looked at Akame. She said after a moment:
- I will be fine don't worry about me. Alright?
Akame Nodded hesitant as Haruka hugged her and Akame hugged back... For 5 minutes they hugged . After that time passed Haruka went outside and got into the truck that looked like it was a military truck... Orisa was in the last seat and went and looked to the front and asked Haruka:
- Where are we going now? Haruka -san?
Haruka turned around and said:
- Somewhere where I used to live..before this hell started....
Haruka pressed the gas pedal and drove forward towards the countryside road... As she drove... She started to remember her past and everything... Orisa Suddenly asked:
-You don't like that place dont you?
Haruka looked at Orisa and sighed and said:
- I will tell you..... The day I started to hate this shit hole of a town....
Haruka took a deep breath and focused while driving through the road and said:
- It was year....2045..the same day as the Great Monster Arise...
Year 2045 Near the city of Tokyo. In another small city with one of most prestigious universities in the country. A certain eleven year old girl was walking towards the school... It was a young Haruka... She was one of the called "Uniques" people who had powers of void at that time.. but he power was specific... But as she walks to the school a boy walks up and punches her in the face.... Haruka falls down holding her cheek as the boy yells:
- Haha! Freak is back to the school! Finally we can have some fun!
Haruka just looked at him and said:
- Can you just leave me alone you idiot..I don't have time for you.
The boy got mad and threw a punch at her but because of her unique powers she grabbed his arm and broke it. The boy screamed in pain as she just walked into the school not caring at all about the boy... Others just straight stayed away from her.. everyone was scared of her.... She walked into the school and started to change up. As she changed her shoes she noticed that she suddenly had butter on her foot and looked into her shoes seeing tons of butter... A girl started to laugh nearby with other girls. But Haruka just ignored it and went to the class barefoot holding her shoes. When she walked into the class and bucket of water dropped on her clothes making her all soaked wet.. all the classmates of her's laughed hard as hell as the teacher came in and said:
- Ew...it's you again..just sit down at the back and don't say anything.
Haruka just did as told siting barefoot on the chair as the lesson started... Then after the lesson she went out of the classroom and saw flames in the distance but didn't think much of it. The same boy from before walked over and got her into the closet nearby and smirked:
- You are way too annoying but sexy as well.. what do you say about some fun?
Haruka looked at him as she couldn't anymore and snapped and said:
-Leave..me..the fuck alone!
She suddenly kicked him with her foot to the wall holding him with it Againts it slowly crushing his head. The boy was screaming for her to stop but she didn't..she heard screams outside and roars but she just decided that today was the last day she was gonna get bullied for... She pinned the boy down and stepped on his face continuesly as he screamed in pain as with each stomp her foot got deeper into his head as she was breathing heavily and after a moment she took the foot out covered in blood... Suddenly the door opened and a naked teacher with her part of the shoulder missing looked at her and said:
- M..monster..you should just die!
As soon as she said that a monster came and ripped her in half Making her guts and flesh drop down.. the monster didn't seemed to care about Haruka.. so she just walked up barefoot walking through the bloodied corridor... Many students were getting eaten and teared to shreds and pieces left and right.. a girl who was bullying her was beginning for Haruka's help as she was getting rapped by female tentacle monsters to monstrous extend... Haruka just looked at her as the girl screamed:
- HELP ME! HELP ME! PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!AHHHHHH!!!
Haruka just walked past and head downstairs seeing some people committing suicide and some teachers getting devoured in front of her eyes.... She then noticed a tall humanoid monster that looked like a women looked at her and walked out of the school.... She tho went outside as well and saw how her city was destroyed... But as soon as she walked out she heard gunshots and screams and looked towards the station... She saw her parents running underground to save there life's not caring about her at all.... Military got overunned as the screams of Civilians from metro could be heard... Haruka then decided to look to the sky and went to her own house which was quiet close. After getting her stuff and going outside. The creature was standing in front of her. The figure seemed intrigued by her... But it decided to retreat to the train station... Haruka then went and managed to find a military convoy which took her back to the city of Tokyo....
Haruka breathed out and said:
- That's just one day of the life i spended there.
Orisa felt bad and gave a hug to Haruka which suprised Her. But she didn't mind and continued to drive the car until they arrive at the old abandoned city.. where Haruka used to live... There was destruction everywhere... Haruka looked everywhere and could sense something was in the city. And he knew exactly what it was. She slowly parked the car next to a train station and got out... Orisa followed soon after . Haruka equipped a specific suit that was all white with special cybernetic visor and some armor and gadget's all over it. She slowly went over to the entrance of the station... Orisa followed after but was worried since she sensed soemthing or someone nearby... Suddenly a figure dropped next to them and Haruka aimed a rifle right at the person and said:
- Who are you? State your name and rank...
The person suddenly threw off the Cape and Haruka froze in shock as she was aiming the gun...the person said:
- Name's Hiroto Hashimoto. Omega class Hero . Rank 17.
Haruka froze just at the mention of omega rank and thought to herself:
- "A...omega rank hero..what is he doing in this place?!"
