Chapter 1 Prologue
A view on the planet earth from orbit can be seen.. as it zooms towards the territory of Japan.. one of the most important countries in our society..and world. Many people would call me. Or others paranoid... Why is that? Because we live In a world. Where we humans need to fight for survival. In the year 2045 We made the first contact.. with another dimension of sorts. Energy coming from it seemed unnatural..evil..void like.. seemingly not having an end..
We thought it was harmless.. for sometime we even used the power to study new technologies. But some people knew something was not right. And they were right. Just a year later... It happened... The beginning..of what we call today.. "Monsters Arise". From seemingly harmless dimension..came out beast's..some of them giant and some so dangerous.. traditional weapons were useless... All hell broke loose when Japanese forces were forced to defend Tokyo.. Although the portals to the dimension..lead to attacks all over the globe. All hope seemed lost..milions dying....
But then. A miracle happened..and beginning of a new era.... Era of heroes. Because of the interaction with the void. Some people started gaining powers depending on many factors. But that doesn't change the fact. They were able to kill the monsters bare handed.. that's why the government with the joined forces of the newly created heroes pushed the monsters back to the dimension from which they came from... But. Not without a cost... The biggest cost we had to pay... Was the losses of lives...cities...and the people's trust to the government.... Many president's resided to let the new younger generation..take there place... The new president's of each country decided to gather at the territory of Japan..where monsters were mostly seen appearing every day ..even after closing the portals... The prime minister of Japan asked the world wide countries for help to solve the issue..and they did. By creating Japanese Hero Association of United heroes. A special organisation to which every hero from now resided in. The world started to rebuild even under the constant attack of the new monsters each day and hour. Heroes made sure the world was safe.. as much as they could. The world.. was finally.. technically at peace... But from what we would learn this was just the beginning of something worse then small attacks. True monsters were lurking and waiting for the moment... To strike and end the human race. Once..and for all...
Year 2073 In Japan In the city of Tokyo. The day was quite gloomy with many black clouds everywhere... Everyone was heading to there work places as usual.. even tho the chances of a attack was huge. Everyone rather want to live with a clear mind then that of a dead person. Although it was raining.. it didn't stopped many people from making videos and selfies.. as kids these days were addicted to electronics..but. in the glance of all of this. In nearby alleyway.. A certain man was walking deeper in the darkness althoh knowing the monsters love to hunt in the dark and find there pray by living force and.. something many people found to be truly shocking. By something they call "All Astair Ira Akst" which in there language means Blood of the Ancient ones.. no one's knows why. But some people have it a lot more then others. That's why they are under protection...of the heroes. The man was wearing a hood over his head . Over his chest and legs a giant black coat similar to that of a cowboy. Leather pants with military grade boots . On his hands he had black gloves with a E symbol on them . With his hands in his pockets he walked deeper into the shadows..his unnatural amount of the blood of the ancient ones.. some creature was spying on him..the creature seemed humanoid in shape following him on the roof of a nearby building...as the monster looked at the man it said to himself:
- What a lucky day I have! A human with such strong life force! And the amount of blood of ancient ones is perfect! I have found my next meal!
The monster followed the man from above as he walked deeper in... The man seemed to know about the monsters presence.. Since he did peaked one eye towards its direction. He then stopped in the middle of a puddle in the alleyway he said to himself in his thoughts:
- "Seems this thing is after me. And I wanted to keep myself from fighting today."
The person sighed and turned around to the way he came from. He looked around as the monster stopped on the top of the roof nearby him confused... He said to himself:
- why did he stopped... Did he felt my presence?! No no .. no way he is just a human. I can tell he is a human!.
The monster seemed frustrated from this situation.. it didn't expect anything different..or specific... But then.. the man spoke looking up at the monster:
- You gonna just stare at me or attack... Make up your mind or I am gonna have to kill you quicker..
The monster hearing those words got angry but also was shocked a bit that a human in his sight was able to see him without such an issue.. It then dropped down showing it giant body and humanoid shaped armor.. its head had 4 eyes that were crimson red in colour... On his back giant spikes emitting void energy through its body.. the monster Finally spoke saying:
- I am surprised a human was able to see me so easily. Normally even those heroes don't have this much skill.
It laughed and smirked at the man with a grin and said again:
- You must be a unique case. But that's better! I will enjoy devouring your lungs,heart,eyes and every possible gallon of blood you have!
The man stood still at the Threat and suddenly lifted up his hood putting it behind his head showing his black short hair and his purple left eye and right blue eye. Both glowing with a specific kind of glow. He then took hands out of his pockets and said:
- Tell me at least talking isn't one of your powers. If so. I am dissapointed.
The monster got mad and angry from those words and said:
- I am Diasta The Void Destroyer. My power is far above yours human! Don't you dare insult me or your Pathetic life will end faster then you can see!
The guy looked at Diasta and just started laughing. Diasta was confused because of the man's reaction... It said:
-Why are you laughing?! I am gonna end that laugh from your face!!
The monster Suddenly charged at the man as it then Striked the man right in the gut sending him flying through 4 buildings.. the man seemed to not stop laughing. It irritated Diasta as it started to unleash a blow after blow punching the man over and over in the face and gut and legs. But even after 10 minutes the man just continued to laughed and was barely damaged... The monster Finally yelled in frustration:
- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?! HOW ARE YOU NOT EVEN REACTING TO MY ATTACKS?!
At those words the man suddenly stopped laughing but at the same time dissapearing from under the monster...Diasta immediately was shocked seeing he couldn't even react or even noticed when the man dissapeared.....and it said:
- impossible...where did you went... I am able to see up to sound speed or Mach 30.. this is not possible.. where are you?!
Suddenly a voice was heard behind him:
- I am right here. Monster.
Diasta turned immediately in shock and saw the man standing unfazed by it's punches.. his clothes were not even destroyed.. the monster started to feel uneasy and scared since it was its first time finding someone like this. The man then said:
- You want to know my name. So I will say it to you.
The man then revealed a tattoo under his sleeve showing a weird shaped octopus but also a weird skull in middle of it and power like symbols around it.. the monster froze after realising and stepped back Shaking..the man then said:
-My name is Genji. My last name is not important to you. But for you monster.. my true name is Everchosen.
The man's eye's glow for a moment as the monster Suddenly laughs and says:
- I have been waiting to meet you! Everyone has been saying about you! Someone that can rival the strongest?! What a joke!
The beast suddenly aimed his finger as at least twenty balls of energy shoot out at Genji turning into lighting like blasts..but genji just sidestep to the sides avoiding every attack like it's nothing for him. For him it seems pretty slow. The monster got irritated and said:
- Cant believe I have to use full power on a human!BUT SO BE IT!!
The monster started to glow as it generated a giant orb in its hand it sound was special..silent...like a wind... Genji noticed it wasn't just something or just another ball of energy..This was A small blackhole combined with a small Star...the monster said then:
- I call this move. BLACKHOLE STAR! It is so powerful it could destroy this planet and this entire solar system in a single blow! BUT JUST FOR YOU I WILL USE TO KILL YOU!
The monster threw the attack at the man... Genji stood still as he moved hand forward and as the blast got close he grabbed it like it was nothing crushing it making it dissapear... The monster stood frozen in shock from what it just noticed and saw... Genji spoke:
- That's all you can do? Bluff? Come on. I expected more. But seems I just wasted my time on you.
Genji started to approach the monster with his fist clenched as he thought to himself:
- "He wasn't joking tho. This attack could do what he said.. to believe these monsters can be so annoying..."
The monster Suddenly roared and said:
- I DONT CARE IF YOU CAN STOP MY ATTACK! I AM GONNA EAT YOU FOR LUNCH STUPID HUMAN!!!!
Diasta immediately rushed jumping at Genji who just walked forward..it seemed Genji wasn't gonna do anything...but then.. He threw a punch...his right arm punch punched right through the monsters chest destroying it's organs causing a explosion of void energy .... Genji seemed..not fazed and he said while dusting himself off:
- Well that was disssapointing again. I hope Haruka Senpai Didn't overworked again.
Genji smiled as he walked off covering his Head again with his hood. He came out of the alleyway right into the busy city streets where he joined a crowd of people walking towards the mall nearby. He continued to walk with a smile .. seemingly being a different person now. A small child came up to him as he kneel down and the child said:
- Mister...are you a hero?
He laughed a bit and patted her head and said:
- I am no hero. You are one.
He poked her nose as she laughed and run off to her mom. Genji Stood up after and headed towards apartment nearby. It was in a small kind of nice building. With grey walls and long windows. He went in after checking his Door number which was eighteen. As he went up the stairs he seemed more happy then before a bit but also a bit bored. As he said to himself:
- This is one bad day...I hope at least I won't get smashed in the face with bad news again.
He walked up to his door on second floor and grabbed the doorknob. As soon as he opened. A tall lady in a office like clothes with glasses on and a lab coat on top of all of that was standing in front of him. She seemed quiet angry but also kind of curious as she said:
- How can you come so quickly? I didn't even cleaned the room you idiot!
Genji laughed nervously and said:
- Haruka Senpai calm down please.ehehe. everything is alright!
The women pouted And her busty breasts bounced as she moved her legs to the side leaning on the wall and said:
- I hope you haven't been monster killing again? Right Genji?
Genji seemed nervous to answer in reality he killed thirty-eight monsters today. He was kind of sceptical to answer but said:
- I...i did went on a small hunt?
The women immediately looked at him raising an eyebrow and said:
-Small hunt? I could saw thanks to my gift you killed thirty-eight monsters today! What did I told you about your hunts?!
The women seemed really angry at Genji... He on the other hand didn't felt guilty. He had a reason to go so he did it. Then he said:
-Haruka Senpai listen althought I did go. That doesn't mean you have to judge me by it. You know why I am going every day. I have a hatred towards them. And I won't spare a single one in my path.
The women sighed heavily as she grabbed a tea from the table and handed him it and said:
-Just drink your tea already. You probably haven't drink all day again.
Genji chuckled as he took the tea and drinked it quite quickly and smiled afterwards and said:
- Anything new on possible members. Haruka Senpai?
The women went on the chair in front of super advanced computer with many monitor's near it plugged in with many devices ... She then said as she began to type on the keyboard:
- No new candidate's..I am not surprised. It's kind of hard to find some people that won't work for money you know? The society is this corrupt... Can't really do anything about it.
Genji sat down on the couch and kept drinking his tea more while he looked at the screen of the computer that Haruka was on. Haruka then opened there groups file showing both files of her and Genji:
- Name:Genji Yamamoto.
- Age:32
- Status:Hero
-Ranking:Cannot be scaled
-Abilities: Unknown
-Past:Top Secret
-Family:Younger Sister. Father and mother- deceased.
Right next to Genji's folder was her own folder:
-Name:Haruka Fujii
-Age:43
-Status: Unknown
-Ranking: Unknown
-Abilities:Timestop, Conqueror's Blaze,Gift of Foresight.
-Past: Unknown
-Family: Unknown
Genji looked at the folders as Haruka looked over another site in the meantime... He looked over and noticed it was Hero association of the United Heroes website...he asked:
- You think Heroes won't find out about me?
She stopped for a moment...she thought scratching her head and turned to him..and said:
- Hard to say. With such things happening.. everything is possible. Especially after the monsters of higher threats have been appearing.
She flipped the screen showing a gianormous scale with different colours and images of monsters...as she started to explain on her own:
-We currently of six types of monsters slash humanoids or void beings that come to our world or are known to society...
She pointed at the first image with a small demon mask and a yellow colour and said:
- First Threat level we know Is Oni. The lowest of the tier of the monsters. Beings from this tier are capable of destroying small buildings at max even small cities..
The next image was a more devil like mask with a red colour and she said:
- Second threat level Is Monarch. Monarch type threats can destroy multiple cities. And even alter the entire planet with there attacks or abilities.
Next imaged showed A more specific dragon like face with a demonic horns and with a purple aura around it and she commented:
-Third Threat level. Dragon . Monsters from this level are capable of destroying planets or even entire solar systems from our research.
Then she showed the three next images and named them accordingly to the numbers:
-The last three are named according to the numbers! Void,Kaiju,Orochi!
She then proceeded to explain all of them in one big sentence:
-Vois level threat is capable of destroying an entire galaxy or multiple galaxies at best... While Kaiju can destroyed Multiverses..and even use time and space to its advantages... The last tier is orochi..an absolute evil..power ...is said to be bigger then the creator's power. In short words. Such monster surpasses gods themselves...
Haruka took a breath and smiled while closing the Threat levels and said:
- But there is nothing to worry about when you are here.
She laughed while Genji just look kind of embarrassed and his eyes glow as he looks at her and says:
-Any information on my sister tho?
Haruka stopped smiling and said with serious voice:
- I don't know. I tried to find anything. But I didn't find anything yet. We need to wait patiently Genji.
Genji was very serious but then he said:
- Maybe we can go and explore the city? It's been only a week since we are in Tokyo.
Haruka got mad and pouted and said:
- You said we don't have time for such "Time wasting"Stuff!
Genji remembered about that in instance and laughed nervously and said:
- Sorry.. I apologize for that . So shall we go now?
Haruka smiled and nodded as she grabbed her summer cloak and put it on being in a shirt and put on a standard sneakers. Genji didn't do much to his outfit expect taking his long ass coat off showing his black shirt under and massively build arms and his muscle showing our from his chest as he asked:
- You sure this is a good idea? Every girl is gonna stare at me...
She smirked and looked at him with a very malicious look and said:
- Not my fault you are a walking body builder Genji!
Genji was embarrassed again and he just walked out grabbing his bag and walking out with Haruka following and him outside of the building... Both of them went down the street with almost no people around them.. Haruka was eating a lollipop while Genji was looking everywhere just in case of a attack. As they walked Haruka said:
-Its really silent out here don't you think?
Genji said while thinking:
- That is the scary part. I dont understand why it's so silent...
Haruka the said after eating lollipop:
- Maybe it's because of our Ancient one's blood ? They are attracted to it so it's normal there is many attacks around us.
Genji was not sure of it as he walked forward.. but suddenly he felt a weird presence... He stopped immediately... Haruka noticed and stopped as well looking at Genji. She then asked:
- You felt something... didn't you?
Genji said nothing..as he approached a door to a nearby building... He suddenly felt a smell of rotten corpses and even of rotten organs... He covered nose a bit it was really nasty for him... Haruka stood next to him wearing a mask she normally did wear..which was a high tech filter. Genji grabbed the doorknob and looked at Haruka and said:
- If there is a monster here..it must be a oni ...or maximum a monarch level.. it won't be a big issue...
Haruka nodded while Genji Suddenly opened the door...at the first sight... nothing was off... He decided to enter in and looked down to see blood everywhere... Haruka said:
- It must be either a blood hunter or a corpse Eater...
Genji moved deeper in checking every corner and the smell of corpses and organs got stronger as he approached a certain place...a big locker...that seemed as big..as a small room...
Haruka saw it and was ready for the worse as she took a assault rifle out of nowhere. Genji didn't questioned it since Haruka was always like that... Before opening the locker he went to the table nearby and looked at the files... Haruka went over and said:
- Those are cases of attacks from the past month...no..five months...
Genji looked at them and looked over every detail especially the monster types that were seen..... He then said:
- Whoever made this...noticed the inscreases in the monster appearance's and also the strength of the monsters inscreases every ...next attack. This person had to be a genius to noticed this...
Genji then turned his attention to the locker as he walked up in one of his hands appeared a void like blade that ignited as he grabbed the lockers knob... He then opened the locker ripping the door out of it .... Then his eyes opened wide as he saw dozens of rotten corpses..some eaten to such extend organs were left Laying around... In some cases brains were sticking out..and bugs were eating the bodies right in front of his eyes...Haruka came up and froze as well at the amount of bodies and almost vomited.... Genji tho felt something in front of them and used his finger which ignited with sun like flames to lighten up the locker... As he saw a small figure...the figure then said:
- H..Humans..w..what are...y..you..doing..h..here.
Haruka looked at the voice and noticed a weird humanoid wearing a white armor with jaws out of its mouth like an insect.. and wings from its back and some spiked arms right behind the wings...the figured seemed to be bigger then it looked seemingly being big as Genji or taller... Genji was six foot five. So he wasn't short... Genji was the one to approach the figure...as He hold his sword close and as he was like 10 metres from the creature he asked...:
- What...are you?
The humanoid looked at him as it slowly put hands on the helmet and slowly removed it while saying:
- My....name...Is...
