Eve's POV
"They are twins".
The only word I heard after halting my breath for a moment.
"Yeah, right". Was the only word I uttered. I know this is the best explanation why the same face exist at the same time. Annalee is Maya's identical twin something I have no knowledge about.
"Aunt Maya didn't tell you, right?". The red haired girl asked and I just nod.
"But she will going to tell you soon". Annalee quickly said to me.
"It's okay, I know she have reasons. I was just surprised seeing you". And I looked at Annalee with longing in my eyes. I miss Maya so much. I miss my mother so much.
"Eve". And she hugged me just like how Maya hugged me before. full of warm and care. My eyes that was suppressing my tears failed their duty. A gush of tears flow and my sobs began until I went to full cry. I cry my heart out just like the memory of long ago when Maya, my mother found me out of nowhere.
Annalee was hugging and patting my back and later I felt another arms around me, the red hair girl gives me the same comfort just like her mother. If she is her mother.
The two women helped me carry my bags and sent me to their guest room. They told me that we will talk after I rest. I just nod. Because the truth is I am very tired and my body is begging me to rest. As I dropped to the bed everything went black.
A low knock makes my eyes to slowly open. I have a body and a headache at the same time, talking about luck. I groaned as I pick up myself from the soft warm bed. I can't stay here forever. There's a lot of questions I need to ask but still I was frightened by the thought of me question by them.
I was sitting by the side of the bed when the door slowly opened. The red hair girl named Amy took a peek.
"Oh!... Your awake". And a full blown smile etched on her lips.
I nod and I pushed back my long black raven hair to the other side of my shoulder. Revealing my bare face in front of her.
"Oh my Goddess!". She said in awe. "That is the most beautiful wolf eyes I've ever seen!". She said and then she giggled running towards me.
"What?". I was confused with her words. Who is she talking about with wolf eyes, I thought.
Amy sat in front of me and stared at my face. She looked very amuse while I feel dumbfounded by the situation.
"Can you please stop staring at me". I felt conscious. I just woke up and someone already staring at me like she's burning a hole on me.
"have you seen yourself in the mirror lately?". She asked in wonder.
"Yeah, like always!". And I answered with a chuckle. I just noticed, Amy is so cute staring like a child who happen to see her favorite doll.
"You are so beautiful... I swear!". She even raised her hand to prove that she wasn't lying. "And I love the three shades of colours in your eyes. They are so pretty. I would kill to have one of those". Amy said while grinning wide at me.
"C'mon, your pulling my leg".
"I'm serious!.... I bet all the boys from your previous school are all throwing themselves on you!". And she gave me a mischievous grin.
I lowered my head with her statement. I was not that popular in my former school. I was one of the outcast. I also don't have friends only acquaintances.
Amy seems to noticed I became silent. She didn't say anything more.
An awkward silence fall between us and I'm the one who first broke it. "I'm hungry".
"Oh, yeah... I'm sorry... I'm supposed to tell you it's dinner time. Mum and Dad are waiting at the table". She said with a glee.
"Okay, I'll just fix myself".
"Okay we'll wait for you!". And she run out of the room quickly.
I sighed as her silhouette fade from my sight. She's a bubbly girl and I like her but I'm still thinking if they would really accept me to their house. I'm still a stranger to them.
