ALTAR OF BEGINNING

Suddenly engulfed by a bright flash of light and from this appeared a group of people all around the age of 20, equipped with a variety of gear (heavy gear/ light gear/ robe). The group consist of 11 guys and 5 girls, their features were not outstanding in any way.

A somewhat mysterious scenery appeared in front of them, it seemed like one of those altars where catholic couples get married except less white and more green. The place seems clean but unsupervised as the bushes over the roof and walls were overgrowing.

Everyone started freaking out, but there are a few capable figures among them too.

"Okay listen up guys, I don't think it's a dream " Khush spoke up while poking his glasses to straighten them back.

"..."

The class star broke the silence, "Yeah it seems too realistic to be a dream " He walked toward the open exit of the Altar from where the bright light was brimming inside.

"Seems like it", a tall slender girl named Bekaar replied.

Everyone seems astonished but a few were scared too as this was totally foreign to them.

"But Kiz you seem way calm" she looked toward the star with a slight smirk, "well it's like a routine for me" Kiz replied, he was trying to lighten the mood first

"I guess" Bekaar replied with a sigh, "but don't you think it's weird that all of us are here?" she looked at Kiz, but he didn't seem to care much about it, those two are gal and delinquent of the group.

Khush join in their bickering "we must plan a little ahead since we are in an unknown place", Ariah continued. "I agree with Khush, we need to arrange ourselves for who knows what might come ahead!"

'Hmm, she taking it quite well, already planning for contingency as expected of our role model student '

Meham decided to read up more about their surroundings, on their right, he saw an info board that states that this location is a neutral zone…'

'Neutral zone? just like the one in those MMOs that I had a hate-love relationship with?' Meham thought to himself, he glanced at his classmates, they were all speechless and waving their glances every inch.

In the center of the altar was a shiny-looking object.

It was some sort of Obelisk with a plain top and it had a handprint on it, Meham guessed the assignment "Hey Samber look, it's one of those thingies that tells you about your individual stats "

"Really?" Samber swiftly went toward the obelisk and put his hand on the print, A wide holographic screen showed up in front of them

'Even though I guessed what it might be, I just can't take the risk of confirming it myself, of course, I would try my best to save him if there was a trap, but I can't expect others to do the same.'

[Welcome Emerger to the World of Euphemia, you have been chosen to give hope to the land of these people, right now this world is on the verge of collapse by the evil forces of the Demon lord, you are chosen to bring a change in this world ]

"Hoo! It's like one of those intro messages you see in RPGs!!" Aram seems excited about what he seeing right now.

"Does it mean we have some special skills and character classes too?"

Everyone was shocked at this site, Meham moved toward the screen, on the bottom right it says [Check Status], and on the left [location].

"Sam, can you remove your hand?"

"Okay" as soon as he removed his hand the screen vanished, he put his hand back the same message reappeared, and after a few tries a new screen appeared instead.

"So the only available information is the person's name and class" Aram was expecting to be a more detailed status screen.

"Hmm, it's telling only what's obvious" Bekaar seems disappointed"

"Maybe we will get more information from somewhere or someone else?" Annie looks towards Ariah.

"First of all, I want to know what this is all about?" Ariah spoke up, she didn't want to waste any more time just standing there like idiots.

"I mean we were teleported here but where exactly are we?" Khush was about to answer but got interrupted by Mez.

"I agree let's go for adventure" The sports prodigy of the class spoke up.

"Typical sports Junkie" Kiz replied with a sigh upon which others laugh too.

Meham approached the obelisk and swipe right to open the Map, everyone also focused on this screen, strangely the whole map was blank except for the altar they are at and one straight path which was leading to nowhere.

"Why is it empty?" Aram asked

"It probably only shows the locations we go to" Meham replied

Aram took a fast leap as he went toward the exit, he was definitely way faster than any athlete, in 10 sec he covered like half a kilometer and return in even less time, then opened the map.

"Oh, you are right!"

"..."

"What?"

Aram saw confusion in everyone's eyes, he did not realize how fast he was going, which also rose curiosity in everyone about how much potential they have in this new world, could it be a new beginning?

"I propose that we temporarily assign jobs fitted for our classes, it can be temporary." Ariah gets in the center of the circle.

"Right! we should follow Ariah's instructions for now since she is most familiar with this environment." Khush made others feel at ease suggesting she knows what she is doing.

'I did not know she was into this kind of genre'

The group looked at each other before nodding their heads in agreement.

After all these two always play the role of lead whenever there's any group assignment, so the others were expecting them to do the same this time.

You can assume this setting as a calm wind before a storm, right now most of the class members are clueless about this circumstance since the fantasy genre is uncommon and not very focused in their homeland, but the ones who have an idea of what to expect, may get in trouble too as they can't mix fiction with current reality.
