Chapter 10- Early Rise of the Dragon God

Eight beings stood in the Divine Realm– something they anonymously called the home the Dragon God created. Plants and trees thrive and are more pristine than the plants or trees that have grown in the world they have created.

A spring was erected in the plaza where the Dragon God is sleeping. His Azure body in its truest of forms. Horns growing from his head, his scales glistened with power and majesty that no gods can deny. He was in his serpentine form, making him look like a rolled snake but larger and longer.

The Dragon God can assume two mightiest forms. The one with wings. He assumed that form when he wanted a close quarters combat or he just wanted some martial arts or it was that easy for him to move. Lately, he was assuming the body of a serpent, riding the clouds and creating world destroying spells from afar.

He even can shrink his body to nest in the neck of one of the gods. And those who were chosen will look smug high and mighty to their siblings. There will even come a culture where one needed a scarf made by dragons on their neck for those who wanted to rule beneath the heavens. If they somehow are qualified, the Dragon God will personally bless them and they can create kingdoms or empires without obstruction. But that is for the future.

When he was questioned by the other gods, he only said "Hm, this is good. This is a better form because I can just float free and unfettered."

"What will we do?" Grantel, the God of Wind and Entertainment said, a worried look on his face that if he can return back in time, he will never do this again.

"Don't worry, I have looked at the future and there are no problems." Hemisha, the God of Life and Law replied. Her golden eyes glowed with the myriad paths she was seeing.

"There are certainly no worries. I saw millions of times that it will be perfect. Although Moldok will be punished or worst needed to face his laser again." Lormond, the God of Time and Reincarnation said. His profound look assured the other Gods.

"Hey, why me? I am well behaved. If someone was to cause trouble, it would be this chicken." Moldok, the God of Flame and Destruction smiled proudly and said. He even glanced at the placid look of Pontifash.

"I am not listening, Brightest Flame." Pontifash, the God of Light and Law replied to the provocation without an ounce of intent to have a conversation.

"Tsk."

"But surely, the Dragons created by Ragnarok are truly monstrous. To grow in such heights for merely 3,000 years." Dinestes, the God of Water and Wisdom said. Looking at the state of the World that they have created.

3,000 years have passed. It was short for the Gods who have too much free time and a long time for Mortal beings. Although they are well living and are not yet dead, those are geniuses who absorb the mana in the surrounding. And those who can't live for 3,000 years have either died fighting or they can't absorb the mana.

"But the monster and beast created by Adenth are more of a monster." She added. The monster he created causes a lot of trouble for the tribe they created. They can cause too many abnormal abilities that cause death and chaos in many areas over time.

"Uhm, I'm sorry." Adenth, the God of Death and Chaos bowed his head. His timid personality is one of wonders of this divine realm. Contrary to his personalities, the ones he created are all ferocious and can create too many calamities wherever they went. Even Dragons will have a hard time killing them.

"Don't worry about it. They are part of the Natural Order. If there are no beasts and monsters like that, there is no improvement and without improvement, there is no growth of civilization. And the reason why we are the one who should apologize." Electia, the God of Earth and Creation said. Her motherly vibe gave even Moldok some respect to her.

"Sis- sister." With his timid attitude contrary to his sinister appearance, it looks like an illusion. He even changes to a being younger and changes his body to match Himesha with black hair and dark red eyes.

"There, there." Electia then patted her hair and muffled it."

"Wait, we are going down the wrong path." Moldok, who looked like he was experiencing some pain said. He can't say anything to the timid Adenth or he wanted to say it out loud to Electia and so he just broke off the silence that soon followed.

"Right, we need some advice from Ragnarok on how to deal with this kind of problem." Hemisha said as he even forgot about their endeavor.

The problem is that Dragons are too helpful, without any pride or prejudice. They help the other race without much thinking. Coupled with their royal aura, many races allied themselves to the Dragons, but Dragons will never allow itself to join in a fight between races.

But if they are asked for their opinion, they will suggest. If they are asked on a particular subject such as Magic, which became popular as of late, battle tactics and what to do with bargaining, they will teach anyone who had some question. Even those monsters and beasts without exception.

And now, they are even worshiped as the King of All Races. Of course, the Dragons didn't take it to heart and only helped but never took any further steps such as overpowering their culture or tradition.

Even the Eight Great Council approves of cooperation to Dragons and someone from them is the one that even dubs them like that. The Eight Great Council is a council of the first eight that was created by God and was given the blessing and name of the Dragon God.

They have no problems in that because it inspired the growth of the world but it's just that…

"We aren't getting any worshippers." Everyone sighed, this is one of the problems when one is being too competent. It is not that dragons are too free in their time, they have a fair share of trouble such as what to eat, how to farm, how to become stronger, some dragons are pranking them or some are being worshiped that their ego is beginning to inflate.

The Gods thought that by creating the species, they will be worshiped as their creator. Although sure, they are being worshiped until now but that was it. They are the gods that 'created' them but Dragons and the Eight Great Council is the one who manage the world, creating solutions to every problem and even solving the Beasts and Monsters that gnaw on them.

It is not about losing followers but because they only talk to selected individuals that their creations are worshiping them half heartedly.

Even Adenth who created those abominations are not getting any worshipers because they have a great and wise leader such as the Eternal Serpent who can decide their life and death. She is having a hard time managing the Beasts and Abominations. Some do it because providence told them and never overdo it but some just go over the board and want destruction anywhere.

When no one wants to wake up the Dragon God, Moldok who for some reason is losing its patience gets something from a dimension only he knows. It was a large jar with ancient runes and a flame emblem.

The jar exuded an ancient and prideful aura. "I will be drinking here, if you decide to awaken Ragnarok, call me." Moldok then sat on a nearby tree and opened the jar. The jar then whiffs out an otherworldly smell that can make anyone dizzy, mortals or gods.

It was a wine the God of Flame and Destruction created after he saw that the one he created, the Barbarians, had been drinking this and they all were wasted after finishing a jar. He then imitated it and it worked. It was so delicious that he became a drunkard from that day onwards. Although he can use his destruction to detoxify them, he doesn't want to and the feeling of being drunk is the best. Mortals can be drunk for 5,000 years by this and after they wake up, the world changes. Gods can be drunk and not wake up until the next day.

He then drank a couple of it and intoxicated the next second. The gods wanted to have a taste but they were stopped by Hemisha. "If you want to be punished later on, go join him. He will be our sacrifice to wake up Ragnarok." She said as other gods have a question mark on them but they remained silent.

A while later the ancient aura of the Dragon leaked out. The Azure Dragon opened its eyes and saw the seven other gods and a smell of the wine.

'Wine, tsk tsk. If I didn't drink that day, I would become old in that world but if I didn't become drunk, there is no chance of being reincarnated here. But I only woke up so my head is still dizzy. Might as well do it.' Such is the thought of Dragon God

"Bastard." He roared as he opened his mouth to create a laser that hit the God of Flame and Destruction. He didn't even have the time to become sober. The jar then vanishes in the air like he created some spell that if someone were to defeat him, that jar will be teleported in his dimension only he knows.

The gods thought that he disrespected the Dragon God but only the two knew the reason. He was drinking something and Dinestes are nearing the truth.

"Do you believe it now?" Hemisha said, looking at the gigantic dragon that shot out a small laser.

The gods then nodded in understanding. Moldok, they pity his being as they saw him lifeless. It may be because of the wine he drank or because of the laser that he became wasted. No one knows.

"What do you all want?" The Dragon God then assumed a smaller version of him. One where he has assumed his first transformation. Now, his azure color now has a tint of gold and divinity.

"Ragnarok, we need your help but first hear the story of how the world went to sleep." Lormond said, his look makes anyone trust in him. If Ragnarok is nowhere to be found, Him and Himesha are the one who can lead gods into order.

Lormond then tells all the development of the World to Ragnarok. The exploit of Dragons and the council and the worries they are having. Ragnarok then begins to contemplate. Oh, I will reward the Dragon Kings after this.

"Did you descend in the Mortal World?" He then questioned the obvious. To gain followers, a god should descend and know the culture of their people. It was also to help and understand them in times of need.

Some gods even have a child with a mortal and some gods abandon their divinity just to live like a mortal. The gods who can't find the path and their true selves will never progress and be bound by the world but those who see and clarify the path they should take will have an enlightenment and become a new being. Even if they abandon their roots, they will regain them even if they don't want to. Even if they reincarnate again and again, they will return to it.
