Jessy couldn't believe what was happening around her. She made the decision to run away when no one was around, and Kelly agreed to help her. It was hard for Kelly to believe that her boss could abduct someone. She guided Jessy through the easiest and most secret route out of the building.

..... Jessy's POV ....

"Thanks so much," I said. "No problem, what are friends for?" Kelly replied with a smile. I didn't truly understand why she was helping me.

"Miss Kelly?" a bold, cold voice came from behind. "I can't believe this," Mr. Lucas said.

"Why would you abduct me without my permission, and what do you want from me?" I asked, a mischievous smile on my face.

"I want nothing from you. Honestly, I shouldn't have saved you, but I don't know why. However, I want you to understand that our security and strength ultimately depend on the security and strength of others. So, know that the outside world is dangerous for you. If you'd like, you can leave and face your warrant," he said coldly, his gaze shifting to Kelly. I could sense her terror. He left immediately, and Kelly looked at me one last time before following him.

His words didn't affect me. After all, confidence is preparation. Everything else is beyond your control. Then I remembered my father's words, the ones he always repeated: "The outside world is dangerous for you."

Mrs. Kelly entered my room. "I'm sorry about earlier," I sincerely apologized.

"No need. Why are we friends, if not to help each other?" she said.

"I have a plan," she continued. I nodded, signaling for her to go on. "Why don't you just ask him why he abducted you? What you were told might not be the truth. Remember, we don't see things as they are; we see them as we are."

Although I didn't fully trust her, I knew I had to consider her words. "You're right. I'll try," I replied. She smiled and hugged me. She was such a genuine person.
