Went To School Together

The next morning Ling Yao woke up to her leg healed already, guess her rest helped in making her powers work, well her old powers only. She was planning on skipping school if she was still weak but she was back to her old self so why skip school.

She was about to order breakfast for herself before going into the bathroom when she remembered Cheng and what he did for her the previous night and thought of cooking for him instead to thank him for not running away while yelling wiiiiitccch and for also helping her with her foot.

She still had time to cook and do other shit since their dance class was around 10 in the morning. She went into the kitchen, without waking him up, and started cooking. Cheng heard some sounds but figured it was Ling Yao and just kept his eyes closed and continued sleeping.

After about thirty minutes she was done. The food smelled nice and this was what made Cheng get out of bed. The aroma of the food made Cheng's stomach go crazy and he had no other choice but to wake up.

He traced the aroma of the food to the kitchen and he saw her in the kitchen, she wasn't wearing her apron instead she was wearing just the shirt she wore home the previous night without the shorts which revealed her short yet sexy legs.

Her legs weren't long but they sure were sexy and seeing her in the shirt made Cheng gulp hard and he cleared his throat to get her attention.

She felt his presence but didn't look at him because she was busy with the food she was cooking. It was after she heard him clear his throat did she look at him and she greeted him with a 'good morning'.

"I'm almost done, why don't you go brush and then I should be done by then. You can use the guest room's bathroom, I'm sure you know where it is also, I have new brushes in…"

"I know where they are, don't worry" Ling Yao always had new toothbrushes in case she had visitors. It was kept in a cabinet in the kitchen above the sink.

Ling Yao was cleaning the things she used to cook when Cheng came behind her as he wanted to take a new toothbrush when she suddenly bent her head thinking the door of the cabinet would hit her head but her head wasn't even near the cabinet.

Cheng, who saw this smirked and said, "were you thinking you had suddenly grown taller, stop hallucinating and actually think of how to really become taller but not too tall so that your cuteness won't disappear".

He teased her and even put a mug on her head and opened the door of the cabinet but it still didn't touch the mug.

He rubbed her head and left to go brush.

Ling Yao was actually 1.62m tall with a beautiful body and long hair.

Her height makes her look cute but no one has ever had the courage to tell her that she looked cute because they feared her. Her cold looks and glares could literally freeze a person.

"The fuck, how dare he call me a short" and then a mischievous smirk came on. "I also felt something poking me when he stood behind me, was he hard" she shamelessly mumbled to herself and began setting the table for their breakfast.

After she was done setting the table, she went to her room to shower.

While she was in the shower Cheng finished with his teeth but didn't want eat alone and instead of waiting he decided to shower.

Surprisingly there were sweatshirts, joggers, hoodies, sneakers and even shorts of different sizes.

This made him wonder who owned the clothes or probably she owned a boutique in her house and the clothes looked perfect for him even the shorts and shoes had his size.

He chose a white sweatshirt and black shorts and he wore white RT Sneakers.

Just as he was about to reach the sitting room he spots Ling Yao wearing almost the same outfit except she was wearing boy black shorts, white sweatshirt with a green imprint of RT on and black RT sneakers.

"Guess she's not into girlish stuff, not bad" he mumbled to himself before walking to take their breakfast.

Their breakfast started off pretty well but too quiet. None of them talked during breakfast until Ling Yao broke the silence.

"Thanks for yesterday, didn't expect you to actually help me".

"It's no big deal, also don't worry about your whole witch queen stuff. You're safe".

Ling Yao looked at him and smiled and thanked him again, "Thanks"

It awkwardly became silent again and they ate in peace, none of them decided to talk until they finished breakfast and were ready to go to school.

Ling Yao was about to open the car door to drive them to school when Cheng asked a question Ling Yao didn't expect.

"Isn't that one of Emma Raj's car" this made Ling Yao stop what she was about to do, she was shocked he could recognize her car. Only a few people could tell the difference between Emma Raj's personal car and other cars which are look alike of her car.

And it was strange this donkey over here knew the car.

"I mean isn't this her personal car?" he was starting to walk over to Ling Yao which only made Ling Yao a bit nervous but she still looked calm.

"Donkey stop acting crazy, I'm not so rich to that extent ok? Jeez"

"I was just joking, I know you can't afford a car like Emma Raj's car so calm your ass. I know it just looks like it".

Before Cheng could enter the car she punched his stomach, Cheng didn't see it coming and it hurt just a bit but he still smiled and the smile only made Ling Yao glare at him hard but he couldn't be fazed about it.

The trip to school was a weird one mostly because they mostly argued because Cheng called Ling Yao's love for chocolates an obsession only because he saw packets of chocolates in her car.

In the car they'd either criticize each other's likes or he'd just use her height to tease her and then she'd just punch his arm.
