Of course she knows, it's obvious to anyone who knows him very well. Speaking of someone who knows him well, Sumire wonders if Hino has contacted Cassie yet.

'Hino will never like me romantically again, that is something I have accepted. Even before when he liked me, it felt like there was always someone else. That person was you.'

She really does feel bad for that girl. Any hostility she felt towards her no longer remained. 

Sumire relays her conversation with Aki and Hino frowned. 

"Are you sure he isn't just feeding you with lies?"

Sumire sighs deeply. "Come on, I know you're not the type of person who would let external factors cloud your judgement. You, can't deny what he said either can't you?"
