The main story of the game was a linear story quest in the previous patch. However, that all changed when the update was released.
The newbie important quests were still implemented and NPCs would still give them to the players but unlike before, there was a catch.
"Seduce me!" a sculptor named Rose commanded a noob.
"Wut," the newbie player talking to her was flabbergastered.
After the patch, the NPCs now had personalities and artificial feelings. That means that to obtain a quest from one requires the players to first obtain the trust of the NPC in question. However, the trust factor also varies.
New Quest NPCs that are affiliated with murder and theft would require less trust. After a certain point in the main tutorial quest chains, they would suddenly end without giving the players any clue.
As it turns out, the main quest storyline got cut off, and for good reason. Quests are now randomly generated and any big story would become the main story in itself.
