10. Bloodline Awakening.

'Before brewing a potion to cure Mia, I need to confirm the stage that her sickness has manifested to.'

'Although no one has been able to figure out the exact cause of the illness, there are actually some noticeable ways in which the illness manifests itself within people.'

'The illness seemed to have three different stages, with each stage being more severe and debilitating than the last.'

This was why Orion wanted to find out what stage Mia's illness had reached.

'I have to hurry,' Orion reminded himself of how important it was for him to get to Mia's bedroom quickly.

Although he had decided to enjoy every bit of his new life, there was simply no point in enjoying his new life without spending quality time with his family who had supported him during his time of distress.

Moreover, Mia was an important member of his family and he wouldn't forgive himself if anything were to ever happen to her.

With his mind fully set on seeing Mia, Orion tried his best to get up from the bed. However, the moment he tried to sit up, he felt severe pain coursing through his body, making it difficult for him to move.

His body also felt very heavy but he wasn't going to let these stop him from seeing his sister.

He tried once again, but it was incredibly difficult to move, making him doubt if he could actually walk to his sister's bedchambers.

As though the system could sense the predicament he was in, a blue screen suddenly popped up in front of him with a few words displayed on the screen.

"Yes," Orion replied instantly. If Aria was requesting him to open his second gift package, then it probably meant the reward might help him move more freely.

This was purely based on his assumptions and he had no assurance that the system could do anything about the pain he felt all over his body.

Meanwhile, the system acknowledged his response and replied.

[Congratulations to the host for awakening the Eternal Frost-fire Primordial Dragon Bloodline.]

"What?!" Orion exclaimed in shock while staring at the words displayed on the screen.

"I awakened a bloodline?"

"Me?" He began to wonder how this was even remotely possible, but then again, he remembered that he had a system, which was gifted to him by two beautiful goddesses, by his side.

Slowly, the edge of his lips stretched into a smile.

He was beginning to like this system or more precisely, he was beginning to love his two beautiful goddesses more than ever.

Based on the memories he had obtained, Orion knew there were six primordial dragon bloodlines. But to think that he could awaken a bloodline just like his grandfather had a few years ago, Orion couldn't hold back the tears that slowly streamed down his cheeks.

He quickly wiped away the tears before refocusing his mind on the screen.

[Congratulations to the host for unlocking the first stage of the Frost-fire Dragon Bloodline. 'The Frost-fire Inchoate Dragon Bloodline.]

[Unfortunately, the host cannot access his innate bloodline spells until you have awakened your mana core,]

[It is highly vital you awaken your mana core to slowly gain access to future innate bloodline spells and to have even more access to future magical affinities and spells.]

The moment Orion assimilated the information displayed on the screen, a strange sensation washed over him. He suddenly became aware of his body glowing with a bright light that was spreading across his bedroom.

With each passing moment, Orion noticed a remarkable change taking place within him. The heaviness that had burdened his movements began to dissipate and it was replaced with a new-found lightness that made him feel as though he could almost float.

"This is amazing," Orion remarked as he calmly scrutinized the changes in his body.

But that wasn't all, his jet-black hair which had initially been dull now shimmered with a lustrous glow. His dull blue eyes also underwent a startling transformation as they shifted from cerulean blue to a deep, captivating crimson red, which aided in enhancing his otherworldly good looks.

Then a surge of energy, unlike anything he had ever experienced coursed through his veins, invigorating every fiber of his being, and allowing him to feel as though his body was being infused with the very essence of power while his heartbeat also pulsed with a refined strength and vitality.

As his transformation continued, Orion's senses became sharpened, his awareness heightened to a level he had never known and he noticed some subtle changes around him.

The colors around him became more vivid, the sounds became more distinct, and he could even feel the air flowing through the strands of hair on his flesh.

It was like he had been asleep for centuries and had now woken up.

Finally, a new dragon had been born.
