2 Pitiful Existence

It was Tuesday when Rein went to school again.

He was very busy obtaining money for his mother's medical fees. Rein worked any jobs that paid money easily. Like being a part-time dishwasher from a famous restaurant, or a part-time construction worker from a newly made building.

He does anything just for his mother, because she is the only one that he has remained in his miserable life.

Despite his many absences at school. He still tried to catch up from his teacher's lesson. Even though his body doesn't want to go to school anymore and wants to have a nice sleep and rest to recover. He'd forced his brutally beaten body from work just to go to school.

When Rein entered the classroom doors. His classmates and the teacher looked and stares daggers at him.

''So, Why are you here?''

The teacher who's name is Mrs. Christine Fayne asked Rein why he is still going to school despite his many absences.

—She wants Rein to drop out and leave the school immediately, as soon as possible for he is a nuisance to her eye.

"So any excuse letter why you're absent for over 1 week? If you don't have one, then you really have to stand in the hallway and wait until my time is over."

"Hahaha he is standing again for the whole 3 hours. He sure is an unlucky brat huh don't you agree?"

One of his classmates named Kyle insulted rein. His classmates laughed and cursed at him, for why he has so much courage and balls to enter the class despite his many late absences.

"Silence!! I want to hear a good explanation from our prince of late and absences. In short, Prince of balls"

"Prince of balls pffft!" One of his male classmates named Genga laughed.

"Sorry teacher Christine, please forgive me again. I don't have any excuse letters right now. because I was busy working for the whole night. Just to pay for my mother's medical fees."

"Like I believe that again!! it's been almost 3 months since you always have that excuse!! I'm getting bored of it. Any other else!?"

Mrs. Christine pointed angrily at rein. Her two red eyes were all red, gazing at Rein with an intent to kill.

"Teacher Christine, I was really!!"

"Silence!! Stand in the hallway and stop talking. I don't want to hear any of your fake excuses! I heard from your classmate Kyle that you are doing an illegal job like drug trafficking."

"But teacher, I was really!"

"Shut up! And stay silent I'm getting sick of you! stand in the hallway and wait for my time is over." She bawled loudly at rein.

"Ok teacher." Rein nodded his head.

Rein tried telling her teacher the truth, but he knew that talking were pointless in terms of her mood. Instead, he just walks outside immediately and stood in the hallway. Most of his classmates laughed at him for how pathetic and dumb he is.

—Only a few of his classmates pitied him. Like their class president who is famous for her elegant beauty and intelligence and some of his nerd classmates that have felt his immense pain.

"Hey Emmy. your face looks pale. Do you want me to help you head to the infirmary?" Her classmate named Pina asked.

"No it's nothing. I was just a little worried about that guy." Emmy pointed at Rein.

"What? You are worried about that unknown guy? You are the student council president of this school, and many rich kids want you to be their girlfriend. So why are you worried about that nonsense and pathetic guy?"

"I don't know." Emmy bowed her head from the sudden words that she heard from Pina.

Emmy is confused why she is worried about a person who's nothing more to her life. She has everything in life, money, fame and reputation.

So why is she worried about some unknown guy. Who has nothing in his life? Is it because he is a little bit handsome? Or perhaps he is a pitiable person that needs a helping hand.

Emmy found rein when she was touring around the city with her new Lamborghini. She had found Rein while he is walking on his way to work ,from a construction site.

She found him miserable and pitiful—She really wanted to offer him some help. She wants to tell her strict teacher that Rein is really telling the truth. But she can't.

She values her fame and reputation that much.

That she was forced to remain silent, like nothing happened. But the other one of his classmates, named Grey. The student council vice-president of the school found him pitiful and needed to be helped, instead of being discriminated against.

He stood up for him and told her Science teacher the truth.

He also found Rein who is working at the famous restaurant which his father owned. He feels sad for him. Where he needs to work from night and go to school during the day.

He tried to ask his father to make him a regular worker from their restaurant, but he was fired by one of the managers one week ago, before Grey have said it.

Rein is recently seventeen years old, and he went to one of the prestigious academies from the country. Called Royal hearts Academy.

He passed the exam where only 30% of the whole millions of populations from the country—The school was just precisely only for rich peoples. But they have decided to make an exam where poor people around the country can enter the prestigious academy.

Rein had passed the exam and is now qualified to enter the prestigious academy. He has been given a 50k allowance per month.

But it isn't still enough for her mother's injury fee. It was too severe.

Her skull was cracked from falling to the second balcony of the building. There was no one to blame, because the police cannot find any evidence that can lead to the culprit.

The police said that they will investigate the matters about Rein's mother incident, but two months have passed and there is still no news about the culprit.

Rein thought that it was her mother's boss who paid the police to stop the investigation towards his mother. But rein doesn't have any evidence that he can show...

That's why he was forced to shut his mouth and remain silent.

The doctors asked him for more than money he had. It was almost 100k per month and if he doesn't pay for the medical fees then they are forced to discharge her mother and to return her home.

So Rein was forced to work instead of attending school. His blood and effort were paying for his mother's medical fees. Even if he was forced to eat at least 1 or 2 times a day. He doesn't care, just for her mother he does anything.
