Ch. 36 – Yves Receives Messages from Jade!

With his tasks complete, Yves retreated to his bed, summoning Fizz and Taro to join him. The Shadow Step Tanuki and Water Slime appeared by his side, snuggling in close as they drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, Yves began his routine, diligently tending to the chores in their unit before attending to Blue's daily needs. With everything in order, he made his way to the virtual cafe.

Inside, Yves surprised himself by renting a VR pod for a whopping three hours, a significant spend from his usual hour-long sessions. It cost him $60, but he didn't mind splurging a little, especially since he had some plans for his time in the virtual world.

Despite Taro's recovery, Yves insisted on letting him rest, knowing the importance of proper recuperation. As for his plans, they might have been different if Taro hadn't been injured, but Yves was flexible and ready to adapt.
