Prologue 2 — Swordsmanship and Magic.

It's been 9years since Seth reincarnated in another world and thanks to Rose finding him behind the stream he had a family to grow under, normally when kids reach the age of 9 they're taken to the kingdoms academy to find out all the abilities they been gifted with and all these ability are centered on magic.

Seth on the other hand was not human and so he didn't have the privilege, Sol steps out a hut hand crafted and calls onto Seth. "Seth, come out with me for a second" Seth now 9 runs to his father.

While he stood in front of his father he thought in his mind the reason his father called him," have i done something to throw of the idea that I'm not a child" Seth thought. Sol on the other hand had other plans for him.

In Sol's hands were two wooden swords, he throws one to Seth and tells him to pick one up, still confused Seth picks up one of the swords and asks his father why he's holding a wooden sword, so smiles and starts talking.

"You see Seth, you are 9 now and kids your age are probably on their way to the kingdoms academy to discover and groom their skills" Sol walks towards Seth takes to his knees while patting him on the head.

"Seth from now, i and your mother will teach you everything we know, we were both the best of our peers during our stay at the kingdom, I'm a master swordsman and your mother the most talented of all mages in the kingdom"

Seth understood how much he hand to learn, he was in a world with strange ability and gifts and he doesn't have the slightest idea on how to survive in such a world. He looks up to Sol and declared. "Father!, I'm ready teach me how to fight"

Sol as happy, stood and walked back to his initial position, he starts to speak, "You see son one very vital skill you'll need as a swordsman for starters is mind acceleration, it's a skill that helps you execute an action you have just recently thought about"

Seth knew that skill existed in this world but he didn't know how to access his own skills, he immediately had a thought in his mind, "Dad might have an idea of how i can access my skills"

"Dad?, how do i know i have the skill" Sol laughed as he forgot to teach him the basis of all, how to access his own menu, he suddenly speaks to Seth. "To access your menu, just say the word STATUS"

Seth takes a breath and speaks, "STATUS"

He hears a beep and a write up appears in his vision

Seth was astonished at the skill he had and yet he was a low level, he looked to his father showing he was ready, Sol smiled and told Seth to come at him, Seth ran towards him with an attack, and Sol avoided him with ease and without moving from the spot which he stood, Seth swung and swung but with ease Sol, avoided them all.

Sol with a poke of his finger stopped Seth and laughed as he said to him. "Don't be dismayed son, it takes a lot of practice and will, you'll get a hang of it, you have potential after all you're my son"

Sol then gave Seth work to do, he gave him a stance to work on and gave him slashes also, Seth practiced on these move till it was noon, he went in and had dinner, after dinner Rose calls out to him.

"Seth baby, come out its time for your magic lessons" Seth was super hyped at the mention of magic that he rushed out, he liked magic more because to him it doesn't require physical efforts.

Seth had come out and was ready to train, his mother conjures flame and water, and then she start to speak, "these are the two element I'm blessed with, fire and water, in dealing with magic, there are two things you must be sure of, first is the affinity you work with and the second is the class you fall under"

Seth looks to Rose confused, he then speaks, "Mama?, what do you mean by class"

Rose smiles saying, "Yes, i haven't told you about them, there are two classes of magic, the first is conjuration this class summon the element, but they hold no control over it, the second class is Alteration, now these set can will the element summoned, although they cannot conjure the element they can bend it and no one person can fall under both classes"

Seth immediately thought out, "She's special, she can do both"

She pauses as she concentrates on the both elements she had summoned, she immediately words out.

"FIREBALL, WATER BULLET"

The both element she conjured modified and became what she had called, she then words out "GO!"

The attacks bolted and hit a tree in the forest, Seth had joy shown all over his face as he never expected it to be this real, in his previous life he watch a lot of shows with magic and also pretended he could cast them.

"Mother!, when can i do that"

Rose laughed hard at Seth's request, "I know baby, but thing is you can't until you learn mana handling, your mana handling has to be at least level 5, so I'll teach you how to increase your mana handling in no time"

Seth grunts, he thought he'd start casting immediately, his mom walks up to him and starts to speak.

"To increase your mana handling concentrate hard, find the source of magic in you and draw it out, that's the first step once you achieve this we'll continue"

Seth calms himself he closes his eyes and searches himself, he immediately finds a calm colorful light he goes after the light and immediately it vanishes, Rose immediately words out "Well-done"

When Seth's eyes opened he notices he could feel a lot around him and more so it was stronger where his mother stood, all this was like pressure weighing on his mind and his brain.

"Ahhh!, my head hurts, Mama, what's this feeling" rose laughs and tells him It's normal and tells him that now he just awakened another sense.

"I think that's enough for today, rest up we'll pick up tomorrow"

They both walk towards the direction of their hut.
