Entrapped To A Cruel Handsome Beast

"I beg you, please spare my life. I promise, once my business revives, I will immediately repay my debt. I'm pleading with you, don't harm me. Please..." Vincent pleaded desperately to the man he believed to possess supernatural abilities, fearing for his life. The man, who went by the name of Master Edgar, responded with a smirk. "Oh, Mr. Vincent, why would I want to kill you? After all, you have a daughter whom you undoubtedly wouldn't want to lose." Trembling with fear, Vincent implored once more, "Please, I beg you, spare my life. Don't lay a finger on my daughter. I promise to repay what I owe. Please, not my daughter, Master Edgar!" Meanwhile, Precious, a nineteen-year-old college student, had just started her new semester. Her father had warned her about Edgar, referring to him as a beast. He instructed her to comply and live with him until he could settle his debt. Her father assured her that after six months, he would rescue her from the clutches of this beast. Filled with apprehension, Precious believed that her life was doomed the moment she moved in with Edgar. According to her father, all she had to do was mind her own business to stay safe. These creatures were mercilessly cruel to her, yet they treated her as if she were as precious as her name. How would Precious survive in a household filled with these beasts? 20. Her highness

The city was already shrouded in darkness as Chris pulled his car into the mansion. As soon as the vehicle came to a halt, he swiftly exited and tossed the key to one of the suited men standing nearby.

It was evident that they had been anticipating Chris and Precious's arrival. Leaving Precious behind in the car, Chris made his way into the house.

Precious, consumed by her despair, remained seated in the car. She rested her head against the window, listening to the sounds of the men unloading her belongings. The items Chris had purchased earlier flashed through her mind, their total cost three times higher than the money her father owed Edgar.

Tears streamed down Precious cheeks as another realization struck her: it wasn't about the money. Edgar hadn't taken her away from her father solely for financial reasons; he had done it to inflict misery upon her father's life.

Edgar had snatched her away with the intention of watching her father suffer from a distance. He sought to punish him and simultaneously reveal his true nature to Precious. The weight of this revelation bore down on her, leaving her devastated and overwhelmed.

Suddenly, a knock on the window startled Precious, causing her to raise her head and meet the gaze of the man in the black suit. He inquired whether she intended to step out of the car. In a disheveled state, Precious opened the door and emerged, her expression devoid of emotion.

Precious felt numb, as if a void had hollowed out her being. Her life had turned into a wretched existence.

With a feeble demeanor, Precious sluggishly made her way to the entrance and opened the door in the same lethargic manner.

Maintaining her slow pace, she continued her journey to her room, despite the considerable amount of time it took.

Upon reaching her room, Precious slumped to the floor, her back resting against the door.

Drawing her legs close to her chest, Precious buried her face between her knees, allowing her tears to flow freely as she cried out in pain. In that solitary moment, she yearned to release her emotions in silence.

The items purchased for Precious were scattered on the bed, awaiting her attention to be arranged.

However, Precious remained rooted to her spot by the door, embracing her grief with unabated intensity. She desired to cry until her energy was depleted, seeking solace in the act of letting her pain pour forth.

When Precious woke up the next day, she found herself on the floor. The first question that came to her mind was how she ended up on the floor. This caused her to recall her activities yesterday.

As soon as she started thinking about the events of the previous day, the sadness that had plagued her came rushing back.

However, before she could delve deeper into her thoughts, the cold sensation of the floor jolted her back to reality. Though the surface offered a certain coolness, it provided little comfort.

Adjusting her posture, Precious sat up, taking notice of the scattered items she had purchased the day before, strewn across the bed.

A sigh escaped her lips as the daunting task of organizing the scattered items weighed on her mind.

Precious felt an overwhelming sense of lethargy, making it difficult to find the motivation to even get up.

However, she mustered her resolve and rose to her feet, preparing herself to start arranging the items. As she glanced at the clock, she noticed that it was already a few minutes past seven.

Realization washed over her—she had just two hours before school started. Despite the time constraint, she knew she had to make the effort to organize the clothes, bags, and other items left on her bed in the dressing room.

With determination, Precious began shuttling back and forth, methodically moving the items one by one to their appropriate places.

Rainey, her feline companion, offered a little assistance and voiced a gentle "meow" as Precious stood lost in her thoughts in front of her closet.

The sound of Rainey's voice jolted her back to the present moment, prompting her to make her way to the bathroom.

Precious undressed and took a refreshing bath before adorning herself in the dress her father had gifted her on her last birthday.

Since her father couldn't accompany her, Precious wanted to wear something that would keep his memory alive and make her feel his presence throughout the day at school.

Precious reached for the hair tie and gathered her hair into a short, wavy ponytail, just above her shoulders, a style she preferred. She had fixed her hair the previous day with Chris.

Next, she collected all the necessary documents that she had been instructed to bring on the first day of college. Everything was neatly organized in the handbag her father had given her along with the dress.

Although Chris had given her a phone the previous day, Precious knew she couldn't use it to contact her father. She had been harshly warned and understood the consequences that awaited her if she defied their orders.

Edgar's watchful eyes kept her in check. Reluctantly, she placed the expensive phone back in its packaging and secured it in a drawer. It wouldn't be of any use to her for now.

Glancing up at the wall clock as she finished her preparations, Precious realized she still had ample time and wasn't running late. Her timing was just right.

As she pondered who would accompany her to school, Chris or Lucas, Precious found herself leaning towards Chris. Despite his cruel nature, he seemed to be the kindest among the three of them. However, she had her doubts whether Edgar would allow her to go alone, considering they were supposed to keep a close watch on her like a hawk.

On her way to the living room, Precious unexpectedly crossed paths with Veronica, who wore a smile as she stood before her.

Veronica exuded elegance with her sophisticated outfit, resembling someone attending a meeting with the world's richest man. Her ensemble consisted of a red shirt neatly tucked into jean trousers, complemented by matching red boots. A stylish red jacket hung casually from her shoulders, and she clutched a red purse close to her side.

This morning, Veronica wore an exceptional grin, causing Precious to grimace slightly. Despite that, Precious managed to greet her. "Good morning, Veronica. You look amazing today."

Veronica responded with a self-assured smile. She retrieved a pair of sunglasses and stylishly placed them on her face. "I knew you had good eyes," she quipped. "Are you ready?"

Curious, Precious asked, "Are you taking me to school?"

Veronica playfully teased, "Yes, I'll be acting as your elder sister. Whoo-hoo! You should be jumping for joy because I'm too important to simply escort a mere human to school for registration."

"You're absolutely right, my lady! Thank you so much, your highness, Veronica!" Precious forced a wide grin on her face and bowed.

"Please accept my heartfelt gratitude. I am indebted to you for accompanying me to school!"

Veronica was taken aback but delighted by Precious's response. She chuckled and said, "Your appreciation is accepted. Follow me!" Turning around, she took the lead.

Precious glanced down at Rainey, who faithfully followed her. The rhythmic sound of Veronica's heels echoed in Precious's ears. Veronica's blue eyes were captivating, and Precious sensed a hidden kindness behind them, even though Veronica seemed to conceal it.

Veronica hair cascaded down to her backside, with a touch of red at the tips, matching Veronica's color scheme for the day.

Curiosity getting the best of her, Precious asked from behind Veronica, "Is red your chosen color today?"

Veronica didn't respond until Precious rushed to her side. "I'm finally going out after three hours!" she exclaimed breathlessly. "Yes, it's red. Oh, I adore red because Edgar is all about red!" she gushed.

"That's fantastic, and it suits you perfectly!"

"Everything looks marvelous on me, human! I'm simply stunning!"

"Yes, you certainly are."

Curiosity tingling within her, Precious asked nervously, "May I ask a question?"

"Go ahead," Veronica granted permission to the little human.

"Why did you insist on taking me to school?"

Veronica smirked mischievously. "I wanted to have some fun, baby girl. I've heard that school boys are quite attractive."

"I see," Precious nodded, finding some logic in her explanation. "They'll fall head over heels for you at first sight. After all, you're a goddess."

"You can say that again," Veronica replied with a proud hair flip, her eyes glancing at Precious before she burst into a giggle.

Precious had never seen Veronica this joyful before, but she found herself enjoying this side of her. Veronica became more approachable and easy to talk to when showered with praise.

Soon, they reached the car's exit, prompting Precious to turn to Rainey. She blew a kiss into the air, symbolizing a gesture of affection. "I'll be back," she whispered to him before letting him go, just as Veronica's voice reached her ears.

"Goodbye!" Precious waved at Rainey before stepping out of the house.

The backseat door was already open, and Precious glanced at the chauffeur, putting on a fake smile. She moved forward and leaned down to face Veronica.

"I'll sit in the passenger seat; you're the boss here," Precious said, closing her eyes as a gesture of submission.

With that, she closed the car door, and the door to the passenger seat was opened for her. "Thank you!"

The chauffeur got into the car and started the engine, setting off towards their destination.
