Entrapped To A Cruel Handsome Beast

"I beg you, please spare my life. I promise, once my business revives, I will immediately repay my debt. I'm pleading with you, don't harm me. Please..." Vincent pleaded desperately to the man he believed to possess supernatural abilities, fearing for his life. The man, who went by the name of Master Edgar, responded with a smirk. "Oh, Mr. Vincent, why would I want to kill you? After all, you have a daughter whom you undoubtedly wouldn't want to lose." Trembling with fear, Vincent implored once more, "Please, I beg you, spare my life. Don't lay a finger on my daughter. I promise to repay what I owe. Please, not my daughter, Master Edgar!" Meanwhile, Precious, a nineteen-year-old college student, had just started her new semester. Her father had warned her about Edgar, referring to him as a beast. He instructed her to comply and live with him until he could settle his debt. Her father assured her that after six months, he would rescue her from the clutches of this beast. Filled with apprehension, Precious believed that her life was doomed the moment she moved in with Edgar. According to her father, all she had to do was mind her own business to stay safe. However, it quickly became apparent that Edgar, the cruel and arrogant master, did not claim her just to have her quietly mind her own business. She soon discovered that she would have to pay the price for her father's debt. Her innocent college life turned into a misery-filled existence, surrounded by beasts. These creatures were mercilessly cruel to her, yet they treated her as if she were as precious as her name. How would Precious survive in a household filled with these beasts? 11. Don't fall in love

"Papa!" Images of her father flashed in her head.

"My career!" Internally, she said to herself. Precious had lost her breath, it had been fifty seconds in the water without her practicing respiration. She was losing her breath which became the cause of her body growing weak and almost paralyzing.

A minute passed as calculated by Precious and now she couldn't feel some of her organs but yes! She surpassed eighty seconds in the water!

Precious pushed her head out of the water and was short of breath. Trying to suck in whatever air was available around her, she appeared pale with her widened eyes and her mouth opened, forming an O. Oh, no! She could have died!

No! She might be vulnerable and pathetic but she wasn't that desperate or was low self-esteem. Precious wasn't planning to kill herself.

She was still too young and still had a lot to experience before she dies and besides, her father promised to free her in six months so everything that was happening at the moment was just a short period of suffering, it wasn't for the rest of her life.

Precious believed that she could live and survive it and someday forget that she ever came across beasts or lived with them.

However, Precious felt successful just because she was able to hold her breath and stay underwater for more than a minute. She believed she was getting somewhere and would someday stay underwater for five minutes and still survive it if possible.

After having her bath, she wrapped herself with a towel and checked her wardrobe for a cool outfit to wear.

A yellow dress was what she chose. The gown had sunflowers printed all over. It was a sleeveless gown with a flare reaching above her knees.

Precious dressed up and was prepared for the day. She only had to comb her hair but the moment she looked at her image in the mirror, she realized her shameful hair and glanced at Rainey, who was actually teasing her with the expression on his face.

Precious shrugged. "I know I have a cap in here," she said, searching her wardrobe again. Precious wore the knit cap and nodded her head at her appearance in the mirror. No one was going to know. Nobody!

Just then, she heard knocks on the door and immediately glanced at Rainey. "Someone's at the door. Could it be…Edgar?" She asked.

"Meow!" Rainey reacted.

Precious pursed her lips and bent, stretching her hands out for Rainey.

Therefore, Rainey jumped into her arms and rested comfortably in them. "Let's check who's at the door!" She announced and located the door.

Upon opening the door, she found Chris and Lucas standing in front of her room. As they weren't who she was expecting, Precious walked out of her room and looked left and right, searching for the man she was expecting. Disappointed Precious tapped her feet to the ground with a pouty face.

Chris and Lucas glanced at each other as they were stunned by her behavior. "Were you expecting Edgar?" Lucas asked.

However, before Precious could reply, Lucas's wild pet, Clint walked into their presence with honor and went straight to Precious instead.

A smile curled on her lips as the big cat came her way. "Wow, Clint! You look stunning today!" Stroking his body, she said. Although, she didn't let Rainey go.

Clint replied by opening his mouth as though he was hungry, wanting to devour her but seemed like Precious had already understood his language.

She grinned and stroked him more.

"Edgar never told me that you are a thief," Lucas uttered before calling his pet to stand next to him.

"A thief?" Precious asked. Was he referring to her? She was puzzled. "Ahh, I thought Edgar would actually show himself to me today but he disappointed me again!"

Chris chuckled. "I assumed you wouldn't want to see him because once he shows himself, he will devour you immediately!"

"Is that so?" Precious became gloomy. "What can I do? I can't change his mind," she looked down at Rainey and ran her fingers through his hair. "I still want to see him," she looked up, determined to meet Edgar.

"We don't know why he hasn't shown himself to you but…"

"Is he dead?" Precious asked, cutting Lucas off. "I was chased by his ghost last night." Whispering, she said to the two handsome men.

Chris stood blank and stunned for a while. How much he wanted to burst out laughing hard at the clueless girl.

Chris; A tall man with a manly figure, huge and hot. He had a perfect and flawless face, dark hair mixed with strands of orange which were tied to the back of his head as they were long, perhaps reaching his shoulders because Precious hadn't seen him let his hair down once.

His eyes' color was magical, blazing amber and appearing innocent, adding to his beauty. Calling the tall man 'handsome' was an understatement, however, he was too handsome to be true but Precious believed he existed. A man as beautiful as him should exist.

Precious adored his tall figure and his body traits. The girl grinned when she saw him laugh. For some reason, he appeared more attractive in her eyes when he exposed his teeth, laughing. Oh, someone should catch her because she was falling!!

"Edgar isn't dead!" Lucas stood between Chris and Precious because they were facing each other.

Lucas's action brought Precious's eyes to him, saving her from Chris's charm. "Edgar isn't dead?" She asked in disbelief. "But…his ghost was chasing me last night!" She stated.

"His ghost?!" Chris, who was still laughing behind Lucas, repeated and laughed louder. "Oh, Precious!" He covered his face.

Precious glanced over Lucas's arm to look at Chris but Lucas stopped her. "Is he okay?" She asked. "Is he sick?" Precious walked closer to Lucas because Chris was laughing abnormally.

"He's usually that way whenever he gets the opportunity to laugh," Lucas explained. "Look…" he placed his arm around Precious's neck, walking her away. "Edgar isn't dead, he's just around you because you are his, hence, he can see everything you are doing!"

Precious confusedly stared at him and raised an eyebrow. But then she gasped. "He's invisible!" She yelled.

Lucas nodded and looked behind him to still see Chris laughing like a lunatic.

"I'm worried," Precious uttered after looking at what Lucas was gazing at.

"It's normal. Just avoid making him laugh next time," Lucas stated and took her gaze off Chris. "Now let me tell you something," he caught her full attention with the tension.

Precious stared widely at him as he took her away to a place she had no idea of. "What's that?" She asked.

"Don't fall in love with Chris..." Lucas attacked Precious wickedly with the incomplete statement he made.
