Joan Pov;

At the City Garden;

I was strolling quietly with Mylo before I decided to sit for a while on one of the garden seats.Leaving Mylo to run around and play a bit as she usually does.By the way, the Fun park located at the City Garden is a really large open space where one can actually get lost if not careful.But i kept my gaze on Mylo to keep her in sight so she doesn't get lost.Few minutes later i got engrossed in my phone while checking my inbox mails to see if i have been called for interview in any of the company i applied to.On raising my head, I couldn't spot Mylo in sight, I was confused and i didn't know what to think .I started calling out her name blowing whistle," Mylo, Mylo, Mylo"!!! I called her several times but no response or sight of her. Giving up already, I sat on the grass with my head in my laps and tears rolling down my chin, sobbing and calling her name in faint voice. "Huff huff, Huff huff, Huff huff" this sound came faintly but was increasing at intervals.I raised my head in hurry to see where the barking was coming from cause that was how my Mylo barks , the barking sound getting louder i stood up in hurry to trace the sound cause she was around , wiping my tears i kept trailing the sound just to find her in the hands of a cute young girl who was trying to help her find her owner.I smiled on seeing her, then she walked towards me looking so innocent and she asked "Is she yours?", I replied" Yes "and she immediately said, "she is so cute, what's her name?"

"Mylo" i replied in haste, stretching forth my arms to collect her immediately, she understood my gesture and gave her back to me instantly. I was so happy i didn't lose Mylo i hugged her tightly till she squeaked cause i was tightening her with my grip, i laughed and wiped the tears that was about to drop.The little girl then asked me , "Where you crying because you thought you lost her? I answered " yes".

She innocently looked at me and said, "I understand the feeling of losing something or someone you love, I actually lost someone i love about three years ago and it's seems like i am reuniting with the person just like you reunited with this puppy you thought you lost." I am Mandy by the way, stretching out her tiny palm to shake mine and i returned an heartwarming handshake to her and told her my name. But i questioned her on the statement she made concerning losing a loved one and reuniting. She explained saying "You look exactly like my dead mom, is she you, are you her?

I was so teary at her statement and i pulled her in for a hug , The next question she asked shooked me off my feet, Can you be my mum?, she asked and i was dumbfounded.

I can't answer this question you asked me Mandy, but you know i can be a very good friend to you cause you saved my Mylo from getting lost, by the way, won't your Dad and Grandparents be looking for you , You've been with me for more than thirty minutes now.I am sure they are worriedsick looking for you now.Hun, Mandy , now let me get you to your Dad, just the way you got Mylo to me.I am sure we would see around some other time.She kept refusing to go, she said "I don't think my Dad will be worried in any way , he will understand that i am reuniting with my mum or what do you think?, we can stay here and get to know more about each other.I kept reassuring her that there will be lot of time for us to bond, but she needed to get to her Dad, and i am sure she doesn't want her Dad to be sad on his birthday today as she told me she promised her Dad.So she eventually agreed , but on the condition that i will let her hold on to Mylo till we get to wherever her Dad and Grandparents were.While we were walking to the place where they had their picnic following her direction, we encountered her Grandparents on the way and she ran to hug her worried grandma first, then gave her grandpa a knuckle hit chuckling.Her grandma begins questioning her while staring at me who was standing afar, asking her where she has been, who's puppy is she carrying, who i am?.She just replied calmly saying she is my reunited mum and friend, She ran towards me pulling me to come and meet her grandma;Abigail who was still in shock to the statement Mandy made.Abigail on seeing me on closer look opened her mouth in shock and called out to her husband;Thomas, who was some meters away on the phone with his son trying to inform him that Mandy has been found and he should come to meet them where they were.So Thomas ended the call after passing the information and answered his Abigail.The first thing that came out of his mouth on seeing me was "Natalie". Immediately i countered him saying , My name is Joan," Joan Brown".Abigail , finally getting her words together said"You look exactly like our late daughter in-law , now i understand what Mandy statement means ".Thomas was still in shock and he just kept nodding his head in uttermost surprise.

Mandy's Dad got to the scene , and he could only see his daughter , no other person at that moment was a living thing to him, not even his parents, he lifted her up and hugged her like she died before and just resurrected, a tear was about rolling down his cheek , but Mandy immediately stopped it, then he put her down gently. He look derailed and disturbed, sweats trickling down his face from his well defined black hair with flecks of gray down to his cheekbones hitting his strong jawline with two buttons on his shirt left unbuttoned exposing a bit of chest .Gosh i was close to drooling for him, he is a sexy creature.

Julius pov:

My Dad called me that he found Mandy already and he gave me a description of where they were, I was actually searching around the pack for her alongside the search team i requested for ,Felix also offered to help, Immediately i got the call , I didn't even tell Felix or the search team.I kept running as far as my legs could take me till i got to where my Mandy was , I grabbed her right into my arms and hugged her tightly like she was the only thing that mattered to me in the world , i kept staring into her eyes until i was about crying and she stopped it with her tiny hands saying"Daddy you promised to always be happy for me , didn't you? I answered her with fear still in me and faint sobbing "Yes i did baby".Then i dropped her down gently before approaching my parents to question them on how and where they found her.Without words , they gestured pointing to the direction of a young lady whose back was turned at me and she was really making laugh and smile genuinely.

However, without asking my parents any more questions i walked over to her and tapped her at her back, only for her to turn to face me and i saw my wife;Natelie.I staggered backwards in fear and great confusion."Natalie, is this you?, no, no, no looking down and holding my head in my hands .Natalie's cold blooded accident replaying in my head like it just happened yesterday, I was shivering and i felt my parents hands on my shoulder trying to calm me down , it took sone minutes before i could calm down .Abigail , my mother then explained the whoke scenario to me, she was the one who saved Mandy from getting lost and the statement Mandy made calling the young lady her reunited mum, and how shocked she was on seeing her.I walked up to the lady whose hands , Mandy's hands were twined in because Mandy wouldn't let go of her one bit.I thanked her for saving my daughter from getting lost, she was as calm as Natalie, a replica of her, her eyes just as brown and pretty as Natalie's own was.At that moment it felt as if , Natalie had resurrected.I just stretched foward my hand for a shake to cut the awkard staring competition short, she returned the handshake politely and warmly said"You're welcome ".So i asked her if there was anything i could do to reward her for saving my daughter, and said humbly that it's nothing really.I insisted , but she still said nothing so i gave her my business card telling her to call me anytime she feels like she needs my help and i will do it willingly so far it's in my power.Mandy who was right beside her kept pitching her to talk like there was something they both knew that i needed to know as well but she wasn't willing to talk.So, Mandy decided to spill " Daddy , she is qualified and skilled in Home and Business Management and convocated with a first class, but hasn't gotten a proper job since she left school, meaning she would perfect in being my Nanny;home management hun???

In shock, and bending to play with her cheek, i said hmmm, how smart my baby is, just like your mum.She's right i guess, or what do you think?she stands still in shock of what Mandy said , vut Mandy kept yelling and pleading , "Reunited mom"! while dangling her hand jumping.

So she said, she would think about it and call me once she has decided which made Mandy really sad.I tried explaining to her that, she doesn't really know us and she has to think about it, reschedule her plans, and obviously tell her parents obviously .I guess i shouldn't have made the last statement cause immediately i mentioned parents, she ran off.
