After cleaning up, Atasha followed Howl into his hut to check their spoils. Together with Howl, Regalus, having set out before the crack of dawn, was sternly urged by his wife to take a shower and rest with the kids who had their naps disturbed multiple times during lunch.

Nemus stayed at the house to dry and toast herbs and spices, among the fruits and greens they forage inside the sack Howl carried earlier, unwilling to go outside to get wet.

Upon reaching the door, Howl stopped abruptly causing Atasha to bump her forehead on his sturdy back. He frowned and Atasha did the same, countering his deep scowl while massaging the part she hit.

"Why are you suddenly stopping?" She complained, her teary eyes looked somewhat pitiful and resentful at the same time.

Howl turned to her and surprisingly leaned forward without a word making Atasha shut her eyes instinctively, her heart pounded erratically.
