Why Did No One Teach You?

Di Hao flicked his sleeves all over to get rid of the dust that he inadvertently touched. When he looked up, he saw that Di Fuyi was looking at him from nearby; the man was clearly in deep thought about something.

Di Hao strolled over to him. "Father…"

Di Fuyi smiled. "Your skill is not bad! Then he added, "It does not look like something me or your mother would have taught you."

Di Fuyi's heart sank. What must have happened in the future that he and Gu Xijiu did not teach their kid martial arts? Di Fuyi bent over and picked him up, and then strode forward. "Why did no one teach you? Did you lose your parents? Were you kidnapped?" 

Having Di Fuyi carry him was a rare experience for Di Hao. He finally felt some fatherly love. "No… I... I have been an orphan since young."
