22 Party part 1/2

"Fuck it!" Rose screamed as he held his finger, feeling the pulsating pain in it. Bobby came over quickly and sighed, this was the sixth time Rose had hit his fingers, instead of the nail, with the hammer. They were building fencing, for the car race, to make sure no one would accidentally leave the tracks. It was supposed to be easy work, but sadly Rose didn't seem to have any skill in handiwork and became a liability.

"It's best for you to just just rest a bit by the side and let me do the rest of the work, okay love?" Bobby said and Rose nodded while holding his finger. Bobby sighed with relief, not wanting to tell Rose he should leave, since he was a liability here. Rose sat down on the side and looked at Bobby working and just rubbed his fingers.

Rose felt bad for being clumsy, when it came to stuff like this, he had hit his fingers multiple times with the hammer, tripped over stuff around three times and lost four nails while working. Looking at his talent for woodworking he saw it was [Woodworking Talent- Suicidal, it is not recommend to try any handiwork including wood.] and could only frown.

Rose decided to not edit it, as he knew people had certain flaws or less talents in other areas, not to mention how he could use this as an excuse, to not work! Well seeing Bobby work without a shirt was a sight, Rose enjoyed it fully and didn't shy away as Bobby noticed his gaze. They were a couple now after all and Bobby was his!

Anyway the meeting about the party was held yesterday and it was rather short. Jean found ten mutant kids that wanted to perform and show the more artistic side of Thier power, while Storm and Cyclops had decided to hold the party in the schools training area outside, as it was a huge space and put the Secret spot for adults inside the Gym next to it.

Storm and Cyclops did have some problems hiring catering on such a short notice, even more so, since some didn't want to deliver things to the Academy or even get near any mutant. So they hired multiple Catering services and split the things they needed between them, so every service would get an order that was manageable to complete and prepare in under two weeks.

The three were also okay with our chosen competitions and word already spread among the young mutants about it. They now seemed more excited and happy, something that many X-Men liked to see. Well there were almost two weeks left for the preparations and till now everything is going smoothly. As for his Aunt? Rose didn't visit her and she didn't ask to talk to him again.

[Time Skip, Party Day]

Rose was dressed in a suit, together with Bobby and Storm as they stood at the gate receiving guests. Charles had invited quite a lot of influential people and it was a pain to greet them, as multiple reporters were standing off to the side, taking thousands of pictures as They greeted one famous guest after another. Rose felt like he would become crazy from all the clicks!

If Bobby wouldn't hold his hand from time to time, he would have probably run off by now. What's worse is that reporters noticed Bobby holding Rose hands and the ring on each hand looking really similar. So naturally reporters also took pictures of it. Well as the last guest arrived, Tony finally made his appearance as he came driving in, in a pretty expensive looking self driving Sports car and Stepped out with Pepper in hand.

Pepper wore long red dress, with a mermaid tail at the bottom. Tony was wearing a fancy red suit and both matched. They walked to the gate with Pepper looking upset at Tony, as he probably made a indecent joke in the car. Arriving before us he greeted us "Hey, this is Pepper and Pepper this is Rose!" Tony introduced them to one another. Pepper looked at Rose and took one of his hands and bowed lightly "Thank you for healing Tony, this idiot decided to suffer in silence and told no one. He could have died without your help!" She said it a bit loud and flashes of Cameras confirmed it, as they probably heard it.

The news are going to have a field day with this one, Rose thought and said to Pepper "No problem, Tony already gave me a reward." Pepper nodded and then walked in with Tony. Following the snowy path towards the party. "This should be the last guest right?" Rose asked and Storm checked her list. "Yes, Tony was the last one. Let's go inside, both of you are free now." She said and walked away, the gate closing before the reporters.

The trustworthy reporters were already inside with Cyclops and Colossus, interviewing members of the X-Men and mutant children. So they would be finished before all the guest came. Rose and Bobby also walked away, on the snowy path. Bobby's pastel blue suit matched Rose's pastel red suit and they soon arrived where the Party was held. It wasn't hard to miss as Bobby had build a giant ice castle for the children to play in. Snow laid all around and it wasn't cold, just like the ice.

Arriving at the venue, Charles was on a stage explaining the competitions and was talking a bit of the History of the Academy and Mutants. After the speech came Jean with her show, ten children came up one by one and did a little show. Like a teen that could control fire created fireworks or little fireflies that flew around. Or a girl that could talk with animals and made a little show with them, making them do tricks.

This went on for an hour and then the Competition started. Tony and Pepper together with some other guest competed in most competitions, but were easily beaten by Rose and Bobby in the car race and three legged race. Bobby destroyed Tony in the snowball fight free for all, hitting him in the face, with a snowball as soon as it started, making Pepper and some guest laugh.

While others had fun, some people were doing Thier own thing, Magneto stood before Mystique's cell and let her out, having sneaked in rather easily. "Come, we need to leave before they notice us." Magneto said and Mystique followed him wordlessly. Just taking one look back at her cell before following him. Magneto and Mystique soon left, not being able to stay long.

As everyone played a loud bang destroyed the happy mood as a man walked into the party, with metal construct on his arms, having destroyed a table to gain attention. "Where is Stark!" Ivan Vanko shouted. Tony who was talking with Pepper frowned and stepped forward. "What do you want?" Tony asked and many guest stepped back, while some X-Men stepped forward. "Your Head!" Ivan screamed and activated his electric whips. "Sorry, but i am not gay!" Tony shouted as he did his best to dodge the electric whip.

Cyclops send a Lazer beam and hit Ivan's right arm, making him flinch in pain as the right whip got destroyed. Tony looked a bit surprised at the X-Men support and thanked them with a nod, as Colossus restrained Ivan from behind, Cyclops destroyed the other whip with another Lazer beam and Rose just sat the entire time, eating cake while watching from afar.

Rose thought how stupid Ivan must have been to try and kill Tony infront of the X-Men, while Tony was a guest for them. Then again Ivan did attack Tony in the middle of a race before too in public, he probably didn't think much and was blinded by his rage. Rose was also a bit disappointed as Ivan was so easily cought and Rose didn't need to lift a finger.

Bobby who was next to him, had taken a battle ready Position and was ready to protect Rose. Well seems like the party is over... Rose thought and sighed. Ivan was soon arrested and Charles did another speech, together with Tony apologizing and thanking the X-Men for Thier help. The guest left rather fast, probably uncomfortable after such an event, but the children continued to play.

Tony left soon after talking to Charles in private and Rose was just sitting and eating the entire time. It was not everyday where he could stuff himself with high quality sweets like these and it would be a shame to throw them away.
