Chapter 11 - ANYONE COULD BE a GOOD FRIEND (7)

Juliet and Zoe got to the office.

Juliet: "It seems we came early than usual."

Zoe: "All thanks to Mr. Robinson!"

Juliet: "Why are you giving him credit too much?"

Zoe: "Because he helped us!"

Juliet looked away.

Zoe: "You always tell me that every little thing counts, why are you not proofing your words? Is it because it's Robinson?"

Juliet: "Zoe, I did appreciate him but you're making it seems that you're the only one grateful!"

Zoe: "It's okay, can we commence work now?"

They both cleaned their tables and chairs and commenced work.

(A few minutes later, some of the staff walked in)

Colleagues: "Hello Zoe and Juliet! You guys sleep here?"

Zoe: "What kind of questions is this? How can we sleep here when it's not our house? Well, we didn't sleep here."

Juliet: "Exactly!"

Colleagues: "We couldn't believe you guys can come before us. It's so unusual." (They all laughed and went to their various departments). Juliet has prepared some files when her boss came in. Juliet gave a gesture to Zoe with her eyes.

Zoe and Juliet: "Good morning sir!"

Boss: "Morning. Juliet, meet me in my office."

( Juliet follows him immediately)

Boss: "Have you prepared the files?"

Juliet: "Yes sir."

Boss: "That's good. Inform Zoe when you get back that we're going out to a meeting.

Juliet dropped the files and went back to her office.

Juliet: " Zoe, the boss said you're both attending a meeting."

Zoe: "Alright." (She packed her bag and arranged her table)

Zoe: "So, you'll be going home without me?"

Juliet: "Did I used to go home with you regularly? Whenever there is a meeting, you know we don't go home together crazy girl."

Zoe: "So, you enjoyed going home alone?"

Juliet: "Whatever!" (She smiled)

(Their boss came out while Zoe followed him)

Zoe: "Bye Juliet."

Juliet: "Bye girl."

Juliet looked at them as they went out.

Juliet: "I know Zoe doesn't like going to a meeting but that's what she was employed for. I'll miss her so much.

(As she was talking, a message popped up on her phone. The message is from Zoe)

The goes on, " Hey girl, there's no need to order a taxi, I'll be back before closing and I've ordered one."

Juliet: "Hmm, I guessed the meeting won't take much time."

(It was the exact time to close and Zoe haven't shown up). Juliet picked up her phone and messaged Zoe. She wrote, "Crazy girl, it been some minutes past now and you are nowhere to be found including the taxi you ordered for. I'm not waiting any longer, meet me at home or we see in the office tomorrow!"

(She carried her bag and left the office. As Juliet was standing by the side of the road, Robinson drove in)

Robinson: "How are you, Juliet?"

Juliet: "I'm fine."

Robinson: "Can I drop you home?"

Juliet: "If you wish."

Robinson: (Opened the car door), "Come in."

(Juliet entered)

Juliet: "Are you done for the day?"

Robinson: "Not really. I want to check on two people close to the house."

Juliet: "Clients?".

Robinson: " Yes."

(Juliet was comfortable compared to the morning when he picked them up)

Juliet: "You want to tell the story now?"

Robinson: "Not today, maybe I will do that when we're both less busy."

Juliet: "I'm free to hear it now."

Robinson: "But I'm on duty."

Juliet: "You are right."

(Robinson drops Juliet at home. Juliet thanked him while he went on his way)

Juliet: "He's a cool dude!
