In the middle of an intergalactic war, one of the best pilots in the stellar fleet witnesses helplessly the destruction of the entire fleet and, with it, the annihilation of all mankind. The only one at that table who knew what the purpose of that ship, was Eneas. The thing was that if they destroyed it immediately, they wouldn't know what the Saitans were working on.
