A couple and an old friend

The mothership remained on a stationary course near the Helena space station, and the forbidden planet, the Acrata docked in the designated hangar. She had been warned by the radio that Penelope and the twins were there waiting for him, but that didn't make her any less happy to see them.

"What are you doing here, Pe?"

"Does coming to wait for my husband seem too little to you?"

Pe's wink was enough to let him know that the intelligence officer did not want to publicly reveal the real reason for her visit.

"The old man is waiting for you in his office, perfect, Penelope. Give me a second to leave some things in the assigned cabin and take a shower…"

No matter how casual the conversation seemed, with the changes of clothes in their compression bracelets and having as commander a much better cabin on the Acrata, this could pass as an inappropriate eccentricity, but little more. But that marriage was well known.
