chapter three : introduction

The new session began that day, The teachers were active at their duties and students also listened attentively to their teachers during the lessons.

Sophia and Serena were getting closer as they were always seen together.

They were Seen discussing in their room after school one day.

" Serena can we get to know each other better? " Sophia asked breaking the silence.

" Of course we can answered Serena Enthusiastic.

" Do you have siblings, Serena? Sophia asked her first Question.

" No I don't as I am an only child " Serena answered

" What about you, Sophie? Serena asked.

" Well, have got a baby sister named Celine she's five years younger than me " Sophia answered

" WOW! that's awesome " Serena Exclaimed.

" Yeah I guess " Sophia answered.

" Hmmmn..... can you tell me about your elementary and junior year school? Sophia asked

" No prob, Well my elementary school Was named Queen's land a girls only school while my junior school was Royal girls which was also a girls only school " Serena Replied.

" WOW! why did you not continue your senior year there? Sophia asked Curiously.

" Well, I left there because my parents wanted me to attend a boarding school as they will be traveling a lot during this period " Serena answered

" Oh! that's understandable but why did you choose our school of all schools? " Sophia asked

" Well that's Probably because your school Has a good reputation of Excellent teachers and Outstanding students " Serena Replied smiling

" Okay what about our Ages? "

" Well I will be thirteen in two months time, What about you? Sophia Asked.

" Oh! I will also be thirteen in a week's time " Serena answered.

" Hey, so you'll be thirteen on Saturday? why didn't you inform me Earlier as I would have definitely started the preparation for that by now ! Sophia asked Feigning Angry.

" Don't be Annoyed about that, I didn't bother to inform you as my parents were planning a surprise Party for me, So don't be sad, cheer up Kay? Serena Consoled to Which Sophia Nodded Relieved.

Few minutes later the dinner bell went off and the students went to the dinning hall to have their dinner.

The food served was Egg Fried rice With Roasted chicken Which Happened to be very delicious and Tasty.

While eating Sophia and Serena planned out Serena birthday party even though her parents Promised to Handle it.

Not long after, the students went to the library to read and revise their books And by 9;00pm the students went to bed.

Early morning on Saturday Sophia woke up and wished Serena a happy birthday she also Wished her long life in good health and happiness.

Serena Who wasn't expecting this was very happy as she embraced Sophia

Sophia gifted Serena a golden wrist watch which Serena fell in love with at first sight.

" Serena go and take your bathe your parents will be here soon Sophia. " reminded Serena

Serena went to take her bathe and dressed up Novel after which Sophia also dressed up. By morning all the boarders who were aware that the day was Serena's birthday sang her a happy birthday song and wished her long life in good health and happiness.

After Approximately two hours of Waiting Serena's Parents Finally Arrived and Serena's birthday was celebrated in a grand way, they also gifted her A silver Plated iPhone which happened to be Very Expensive as it was a new Invention.

Serena's joy knew no bounds as she sliced through her birthday cake and shared it Among all the boarders , she also gave a portion of it to her parents and Of course to Sophia too After which the Main birthday party began.

Hours later the Party Ended and it was time for her parents to leave but before they did Serena introduced Sophia to them as her best friend, Her Parents were surprised and Happy as This was the first time their daughter Serena was introducing Someone as her best friend. ( Serena was known to be an introvert by her parents so they were surprised when she introduced Sophia to them. They were also very grateful to Sophia for Bringing a smile to their daughter's face and for making her this happy.
